Hikaru no Go is really good. One of my favorites of the magazine and my favorite with Obata.
VERY GOOD
but the final arc was cut short due to a scandal/controversy that no one has the right answer/source too.
I'm interested. Please, explain.

Just looked it up, and it seems there was a rumor that South Korea was giving Shueisha shit for how the Koreans were portrayed in the manga.

That's one of the reason/rumor/controversy. There is another one that has something to do with the "Fans being angry at the author". Read the manga and you will know what i'm talking about.

Regardless, it is still a really good coming of age story.

And how do you say that is the maximum that can reach?
It's sales growth is slow and limited. It's not creating a buzz like other big series would've managed already. We will have a better picture with the next volume sales but I honestly think it has hit its peak already or will hit the peak very soon. From there, it's gonna be a downward drop. And BC sales aren't high enough to save it once the downward drop starts. But sure, lets wait for the next volume. If the increase is around 5-10k from the current volume, then I wouldn't see it lasting for more than another year or year and half. Maybe volume 25 at best.

The manga has been pushed so far by the end of Naruto, and undoubtedly repeats many of the aspects of the plot.

If Naruto had never existed, would it have been anyway? Probable but it would have been very different.
Pushed so far by the end of Naruto - Where or how is this shown? Did Jump mention that MHA is the next Naruto? Did Jump push MHA in a way that marketed it as the next Naruto? Was it super pushed? The answer to all of that is NO. By the time Naruto was ending, BHA only received 2 CPs (Basically 4 months from when it started. For comparison, BC got 3 CPs in 4 months)
MHA's first volume was out already before Naruto ended. And it sold 140k in 4 weeks before leaving the chart. Everyone over here knows how big of a number that is for a first volume of a new series.
And again, to clarify, the first volume of said series was released before Naruto ended. Now, during the promotion of said volume, please show me examples of how it was "pushed so far by the end of Naruto". Because if you cant (and you definitely cannot) prove it, then you're just stating what you THINK is true.

undoubtedly repeats many of the aspects of the plot - Such as? Training arcs? Or school examination arcs? You mean those things that existed ever since HxH introduced the exam arcs? *smh*
With that regards then, BC or other action series are all surviving right now solely because of every other action or battle manga that ended because of, you know, cliche generic genre arcs that exist in almost every manga of same genre. Pretty sure BC would've died if Bleach had not ended I guess going by your logic.

Changing the subject, did anyone there read Rookies? Is it a good sport manga?
Yeh, read it a few months ago and its really good. Doesnt really become a sports series until halfway through though. As others have said, its a delinquent series at its core. Only problem is the ending, where it ends just as everything is really beginning. Guess it was cancelled, but it was great until that point.

After the end of Naruto many people have been looking for a manga to remember it and the choice happened on MHA by chance because it had a lot of similarities (it's undeniable).

There is nothing wrong with admitting it ...

So I do not explain then the merchandising they are building on if, as you say, there is no chance that sells more and will be dropped in a year or two ....

How long? A week ?

Please, before the manga did not care anyone, if it had not been for the advertising of Jump and Kishimoto itself would have been a manga of two volumes or a little more ....

If you really think that nobody cared about BnHA
Surely in 2014-15 it was so.

The manga began to really attract the attention in 2016 when the first season was made and the real boom took place last year with the second.

So as before that did the anime no one calculated Black Clover, now that the soul is incited there are increased the people who follow him and the resulting criticism.

Changing the subject, is it a popular opinion here that Souma will end at the end of this arc? Why?

Top 10 best seller two years in a row.
1 One Piece 11,495,532
2 Attack Of Titan 6,622,781
3 Kingdom 6,184,214
4 My Hero Academia 5,852,310
5 Tokyo Ghoul:RE 5,303,514
6 Haikyu! 5,067,939
7 Seven Deadly Sins 3,592,571
8 One-Punch Man 3,223,151
9 Food Wars! 2,792,441
10 Magi - The Labyrinth of Magic 2,713,074

The decline in sight is quite obvious, let's say that lately it has very low TOCs.

No way will it end with this arc, especially considering how close it seems to be to ending. Within another year or two I fully expect it to have run its course though.

Are you talking about My Hero Academia? No way nobody cared about it in 2014, it started as a success, it was already selling 100k+ in the second volume and people was thinking it was in a rhythm where it would be like One Piece in sales, forget Naruto. pff
It was obviously not like that and now... Very disappointing...

What's disappointing? That it isn't on OP's level? Nothing will ever reach OP anyway, so...

The pre-sales sales talk leaves the time it finds.

Who knew My Hero before the anime? Did you notice how we did not talk about anything else last year?

The anime has given the deifinitive push to the manga, that is the pressure of the Jump on. And Kishi's statement dates back to the beginnings of the manga. Just as some months ago nobody knew Black Clover and now that there is the anime on the air many (but not all) speak well and badly and the same will happen with Kimetsu no Yaiba, Dr Stone etc.

Not that, I knew all along that it wouldn't be like One Piece. I'm talking about the story.

You cannot compare My Hero Academia with Black Clover at all. Were you even here when the manga started? Many people already knew My Hero Academia before the anime, even outside of here. My Hero Academia started to be published in the US more than a year before the anime even started, here in Brazil the manga was released around 2~3 after the anime started, but since the negotiations here can take more than a year to bear fruit, the manga was already in the scope for quite some time and it was in fact asked by many people, that's why it was published much sooner than the average. I don't know why this discussion started, it should be pretty obvious.
