I don't really criticize any manga series because I put myself in the author's shoes realize authors shouldn't care about criticism because people unfortunately use it as a weapon to make people hate a manga the Mangaka put his heart and soul into it. Author should only listen to those that buy their manga anyway. Also 4chan is just a bunch of idiot that are into negativity and bitch at anything. Not liking things does not make you unique or different. I am happy for the mangaka of golem hearts and Full Drive for trying their best.
We know that there are hate for every single series in Jump right now, but although people from 4chan can vote on Jump as well, probably most of them doesn't. Those who vote take it seriously, principally the ones that buy the magazine every week, they spend their time doing this, something that not anybody is willing to do. Constructive criticism is good for the betterment of the magazine and who take this seriously is probably going towards this kind of criticism. No criticism at all is also bad because it can make bad series perpetuate. Full Drive was slight interesting at the beginning, but I read just 3 chapters and I didn't think it would last long with so many sports manga already in the magazine. Golem Hearts was bad, period. The author has work to do before trying again.

Golem Hearts' dying made people woke who weren't already to tempering your excitement for new series. Battle shonen will forever get people hype, but they fail at a much higher rate than anything other genre. Japs aren't fickle like westerners, they either love or hate something.

On that note should point out that bozebots 5th's chapter was the best one. I don't even mind the chick's design anymore cause they explained why she looks like that. The series is fine but at this point everyone is just waiting for the first rank and nothing else.

Wait what, I recommended Death Note sarcastically. I didn't think you actually haven't seen it yet lol. It's the token psychological mystery in Jump.
I mean I've heard of Death Note before lol. But never once checked it out. I'm sorta aware of the premise... is it something like you write something in a book and it happens in real life? Like Renai Boken (Love Tyrant)?

If you write a persons' name in the notebook, they will die. You can specify how they die. If you don't, they just die of a heart attack 40 seconds later iirc. There are a ton of rules.

Predicting a series ending after folks were wrong three times with hinomaru zumou and gintama seems odd. Based on the record of wrongness here saiki should be going to another arc.

If you're dedicated enough, you can buy digital Jump from Amazon JP and participate in the questionnaire.

I say this right away, let's keep out of the topic any discussions about individual manga ....

We use the appropriate topics.

Summertime Render was great. The content on color page was hella deceiving. Nice art too.

I wonder why Golem Hearts flopped so incredibly hard anyway, with Demon's Plan and U19 I can imagine those annoying the readers and putting off even the types who support everything but there's nothing particularly enraging about Demon's Plan that I can think of (aside from maybe the fake-out death I guess).
As far as I'm concerned, the beginning was awkward. Whereas the one-shot had a likable yet strong guy on a fun adventure, the serialized Manga had your usual little kid doing... well, nothing very interesting. IMO, the beginning would have served better as a flashback. I hear it got better later, but by this point most people have stopped reading it.

So basically: bad story structure and bad pacing, and maybe tried too hard to be relatable to younger boys.

Cool. These illustrations make me wish that, after Haikyuu !!, Furudate make an adventure / action manga.
The fact that they are using the fight between AM and OfA so early it means that we will have License Arc and Baku x Deku?
There was a timeskip? They look older.

If the new ones don't work, let's use the old ones.
I'm awful with names, what other animes have these bands worked on?

I am sad that Golen Hearts ended. Not only can I feel with the Mangaka, I've actually enjoyed the manga. Really liked the first chapters(+the ones with Noah's mentor) and still enjoyed the flawed chapters which followed afterwards.
Though I am surprised that people seemingly hated GH so much, I've learned that, bc nothing is really written in stone, there are always people who dis/like something, what ever the majority may think and visa versa. And even if you find someone who likes something you like, too, it may for completely different reasons. Life is colorful, with an unending supply of surprises. Which is nice, otherwise things would get boring.
Something I've especially realized after people liked Star Wars: Rogue One so much, which bored me to death actually.

But anyway, I've wanted to ask you a question regarding something-

Which would you describe as worse, when something is just "bad" or simply boring ?
I know some of you will say, that boring is bad, too, but I've learned over the years from several critics and writers, that, if something is boring(either characters, the story or all of these) that this is actually worse. Because even if something is seemingly bad, you at least "feel" something(like being insulted, angry or disappointed). Like, from bad things you can learn something, or even can "enjoy" it by making fun of it. But something that is boring/bland there is not much to it, and is pretty much forgotten immediately.
Like, I would prefer to read the worst book which I have read so far, compared to the ones I was mostly indifferent, because at least, there is something I call tell & feel about the book, which made me raged so much, that I've actually threw it against the walls. Compared to this one, the one which bored me, I can't even recall their names.

Entertainment to me is everything. I'm even-keel regarding manga/anime, if it's cool in my eyes I'll follow it. I remember starting MHA just because I thought Deku looked like a character I'd like so I got help on where to pick up the series after S1. HxH I knew Togashi made it cause YYH but it looked odd and childish but I still tried it eventually due to the author and the recommendations from you guys. Also you guys would know the best but when you follow a series with as much media as the Big 3 that really consumes your time to the point you don't focus on anything else. First impressions are big, but once something bores me or makes me cringe consistently at its content I'm out.

Neverland gets hella praise from you guys and I'm glad you guys love it but man it just wasn't cutting it for me anymore. BC gets criticized every time its brought up but I'm indifferent to it, it's just there for me. So like everything it depends.
