This isn't new for him. Kuroko didn't rank well in the beginning either.

On the topic of HQ someone mentioned earlier. Now that this match is over and ended as it did, I can see the series ending much earlier than I thought.

Obviously there’s still a few matches left, and they’ll be focusing on other teams like Fukurodani as well, but I can see this done in like 3-4 years when they win the nationals. Obviously the big Nekoma match is next for Karasuno, which could last a year. Then they’ll have to play the number one team, and maybe one other match. Considering they won against the number 2s, there’s no reason to think they won’t win the entire thing now.
