The film date, perhaps, but why would Yonkou lie about the OP/ED artists for S3? It makes perfect sense for them to release that information now, as a new/final PV for S3 is likely to drop soon, and the OP will be previewed there as ever. Any later, and it'd be too soon to the airing date. It's already pretty late as it is!

I didn't see Baidu say anything about a song, just the movie date. That's where you confused me, apologies.

I did just have a look though, and the S2 PV that previewed the OP then (Peace Sign) was released by Toho on Saturday February 25th, so having something similar for S3 this Saturday, or next Saturday at the latest, is very likely

Yeah Spring have big chance to end in #14 (like say here : https://mangahelpers.com/forum/posts/4718446/). But nothing official.

Welp, if Spring Weapon no 1 rumor gets confirmed, we can have clear 2 things:
-RobotxLaserman being saved again by other titles dying
-4 titles including one veteran ending in a 3 week span, which can actually open chances for Bozebeats, Actage, or any of new 3 titles to survive and get consolidated (at least, 1 or even 2 of these 5 titles should survive and get consolidate, otherwise we would be entering in endless cycle of axed titles and newcomers)

RxL isn't just being saved by stuff dying, it does at least sell well to make up for the low rankings (I think 10x Spring Weapon's sales or more). Plus it's a fujosports series, and they generally don't do too well at first but get a massive anime boost later. I think they'll keep it around for at least long enough to see if it's worth animating.

I think Im missing something here, as the only [boys] sports titles that have survived this decade* in JUMP have been just Haikyuu!! and HZ, everything else seems to have failed, so I dont know if there is enough data there to say that sports series generally dont too well at first but get a massive anime boost later, when, of the say 10+ introduced this decade only 2 survived to get an anime, and HQ was actually doing well at first.

*since 2010 (kurobas was started in 2008)
