The 90s European-japanese productions did do lot of gold. Alfred among the best definitely.

Spirited Away is also among my first 'now I am watching anime experiences. Actually that might have been before Naruto or anything else.

Don't ask me how. I've seen pretty much everything Ghibli has done, even the old scribble OVAs and short, the museum shorts etc. etc.
But I have yet to see Totoro, Mononoke and Kaguya. Those are the only three that are missing.

I feel I should watch Totoro because of @Organizized I'm not sure if he knows that I haven't seen it, but I feel bad about this because of him. :lmao
Have all three of them on my HDD, we're planning on watching Mononoke for the last three months now. :eyeroll

Totoro, Mononoke and Spirited Away are my Ghibli top 3. Mononoke being the best imho.

You've seen Mei and the Kittenbus, but not Totoro? So weird.

Only the first one, I think. Not sure if I saw the second one.

That's me. \_(ツ)_/
You too young to remember MTV's Liquid Tv...where Aeon Flux came from?

Totoro isn’t a deal breaker for me, I love it but I likely wouldn’t put it in my top 5 Ghibli honestly. I think my son likes it more than me tbh. :XD

Mononoke though... sheesh!

I don't recall it being called 'Liquid TV', but Aeon Flux was still on tv here when I was younger, anime like Cowboy Bebop were also in that programming block.

Sure you do, that’s more than most people here have (although I have as well*). Though I’m stuck in the mindset that anyone who likes anime and has seen one Ghibli film has then immediately gone and seen all of them. Just recently realized this isn’t the case when following Studio Ghibli fan page on Facebook and people are like “what film is this??” at pictures of Laputa or Grave of the Fireflies etc.. :oh

What’s your favorite Ghibli (feature)?

*Actually I still haven’t seen more than two episodes of that Ronja Rövardotter show they made but that was an active choice. It was bordering on ruining one of the most watched/read stories of my childhood.

Yeah, Ghibli isn't immune for clueless 'fans'. You know how people are these days.

Whisper of the Heart is the best I've seen. Followed by Kiki and Castle in the Sky. (to finish off a top 5, add Porco Rosso and Only Yesterday)
I've rewatched Porco Rosso, Spirited and Ponyo the most probably.

No need, you're not really missing out on anything. It defnitely doesn't hold a candle to the original, but it's a decent adaptation in the end.
