Those are produced by Cloverworks since the beginning. They changed the name of the Koenji studio for a reason and it was to give the studio individuality so just calling it A-1 is kinda unfair when they're now pretty much different studios like Studio hibari is different than Lerche or Xebec, Wit Studio and Signal.MD are different studios of the holding company of Production Ig (which is production ig after all, just the holding company)

Both of those shows are still being produced by A-1 Pictures. Cloverworks is still a subsidary of A-1 and not much have changed other than the naming to say they're their own entity like what came about with Madhouse and Mappa or Sunrise with BNA.

Never forget when people said Gintama would end at the next chapter or two, or Hinomaru Zumou would be ending...yet here we are six months later and none have shown signs of stopping anytime soon.

The sales of SnS have been on a steady decline for a long time now. 10 volumes ago it easily reached 300k after 2 weeks, but now volume 28 needed 5 weeks to reach 300k. And the newest volume number 29 sold worse than volume 5 with the same amount of days.

Souma has 10000000 total sales to volumes, there are many, and since they have not announced anything, I think another arc will be there.
Toriko was a much bigger hit than Soma and they still rushed that series. Sure there might be another arc, but if these events are true, then they may simply rush through this next arc. Its possible that they have been given a 6 month period to wrap up the series. They'll still give it colour pages as an anime is currently airing but this kind of rushing is weird considering the pacing of the last saga. Sure they may as well continue the series without ending anytime soon but the whole thing is just unnatural right now, based on these spoilers.

Is Soma a lucrative enough franchise to keep it going or is it just prattling about with no purpose anymore since the boost ended? This recent arc made me realize that the series was just dragging and that the writer doesnt seem to know where to go at this point.

Sales have been decreasing for quite some time though if I'm correct.

Sales of almost all manga have dropped ... only Tokyo Ghoul, SNK and some new entries are positive in this regard.

Only that Toriko lasted 8 years.

In addition to Gintama at the beginning of the year it was declared that it would enter the climax, but it still continues. Until I see the announcement, I doubt it will end soon.

...
I wish they would just put everything on the app, then I would not have to use a vpn,
Sadly they can't. There are always complications because it's mature content and the app stores can be pretty restrictive about stuff like that but if you purchase a mature title, it will transfer over to the app.

Bandai Namco Pictures is also a subsidiary of Sunrise but a different company. And the ones that I mentioned before are also subsidiary of other studios like with Studio hibari and Lerche or Production Ig with Wit Studio, Xebec and Signal MD are a subsidiary of Ig Port (which is Ig) but all of those are treated as if they're a different studio so not sure why we should treat Cloverworks different in this situation when that don't happen with other studios owned by others..

Also, about your sources, it's outdated since they still credit A-1 for both when the Koenji studio which is now Cloverworks works on them as the lead instead of Asagaya which is the main one and the only one named A-1 now.

All those studios are still under IG Port. WIT was literally just IGs 11th division before forming their own studio so even if they're not apart of Production IGs main house they're still apart of the company. MAPPA is a completely seperate studio from Madhouse, DEEN is a completely seperate studio from Sunrise, David is a completely seperate studio from Gonzo.

Also, about your sources, it's outdated since they still credit A-1 for both when the Koenji studio which is now Cloverworks works on them as the lead instead of Asagaya which is the main one and the only one named A-1 now.
The credits for both recent episodes of P5 and DitF still lists A-1 as the producer. The very bottom of the link you posted has A-1 Pictures logo. Cloverworks is just a subsidiary of A-1 Pictures not its own entity.

So, for you Attack on Titan and every title produced by Xebec, Wit Studio and Signal MD are also by Production Ig? Because it's the same situation here with A-1 and Cloverworks.

Also, your examples of MAPPA, DEEN and David Productions are a bit different since those companies as far as I know are just funded by ex-employees unlike in the situations that I mentioned where one studio is a subsidiary of another.

All those studios are under IG Port so yes they're all apart of the same company.

You made it seem like Cloverworks were the same i.e. former division under A-1 who split off to form their own studio I was just saying that's technically not the case since they're still affiliated with A-1 and the shows they're credited for are still under A-1s name. And honestly that's how a lot of studios are form (Bones and Manglobe were made by former Sunrise divisions. Trigger and Khara are just former Gainax divisions)

FIRSTLY, don't compare Soma to Gintama because Soma will not be remembered anywhere close to as much as Gintama will be.
2nd. The drop in sales everyone is talking about is not about the manga industry but the fact that Soma hit it's peak and is now way past it with its sales almost reaching as low as before the anime. That's got nothing to do with the market but more to do with the fact that the series is over saturated. It's what happens to every single series out there. Even One Piece right now is declining in sales. It's just that, in One Piece's case, t's numbers are so high and above the rest that it's decline does not matter.
