I did say before that Neverland might end up on Noitamina, I think it's one of the better places where it can air considering the type of series that it is.

Edit: one thing I noticed that KnY and TPN get anime announcement and web-register almost at the same time. Can we expect they will be handle by the same studio and even air in the same slot/TV station?

I don't think it's too farfetched to think that Kimetsu's anime will also debut in January 2019. Back to back anime announcements for Neverland and Kimetsu, how beautiful is that? It would be even better if they both aired in the same season! I'm really happy for both of these manga, I hope they grow a lot because of their anime adaptations.

Hopefully they both have really solid staff members and good studios, since it will be difficult to adapt them properly.

2016 titles: we are already getting anime announcements.
2017 titles: I'm sure we'll get Dr.Stone and BokuBen anime adaptations in autumn 2019 as earliest, 2020 as latest. RxL dunno what will happen lol.
2018 titles: who will be consolidated by 2020? In May 2017 we already knew Dr.Stone, BokuBen and RxL were going to survive. This year is very chaotic despite Act-tage promotion.

There's a rumour, with a high probability to be fake, in 5ch that Neverland is going to be on Noitamina in 2019. That same person also said that Kimetsu has super important announcement along with its 2nd anniversary for the cover next issue. Lycopyne is also supposedly moving to Jump+.

Don’t they usually just say “popularity poll”, or at the very least don’t make an announcement for a popularity poll?

I don’t recall the editors ever saying “we have a big announcement next week” regarding a popularity poll

I think it’s most likely an anime or live action movie, but most likely the former.

I don’t recall there ever being the classic “announcement for an announcement” regarding polls, light novels, or spin-offs. unless maybe an established series like One Piece or MHA. But even then I believe they just announce things like polls, novels, video games, ect. They don’t say “we have a special announcement in a week” ahead of time.

If it is an anime I do hope Twin Star Exorcists staff gets a hand at it at Pierrot. Theyre the only ones that can bring it to life. Even the character designer would be fitting.
