If he returns, I hope he'll be a secondary character this time; Otherwise we could have 50-100 manga chapters to tell the same story we saw in the movie. Although, IF Vegapunk invented flying ships, it may have something to do with Shiki's defeat... maybe by the hands of Shanks or another supernova. I could live with that as canon story.

What if Uranus was also a person. The Sky ruler, the first person to carry The Color of the Supreme Ruler (Haō-shoku no Haki) and the last user of THE straw hat. He/she might have been almost giant (like BigMom, Kaido, Blackbeard or Whitebeard), living in the ancient kingdom Raftel and the 20 kings, founders of The World Government, asked Pluton to erase this island using her powers but she refused. This would explain why they had to build Pluton during the Void Century and why the fishmen were exiled (as punishment).
Something small and but noteworthy. During the 4 occasions that the Straw Hats encountered Sea Kings, on two of them the Sea Kings directly helped the SHs. First they save them from the Calm Belt. Later Shirahoshi calls them.
We do know that Sea Kings have human level intellect. Stinkfish is likely just an asshole, he is called Stink Fish for a reason. However with that knowledge it is possible that the Sea King at Long Ring Long Land tried to save the SHs from the admiral.

Apparently, his real name is Lord of the Coast. Stinkfisch is his name in the german version, which has a lot of drastic name changes. Early One Piece is probably what I have read in english the least, so that's where my mistake comes from. Still I feel ashamed because even when talking with other germans about One Piece, I say Luffy and Usopp instead of Ruffy and Lysopp.
Shanks is a connected to IM-sama and he is a D, and his ancestor is the one who betrayed the ancient kingdom, but not on purpose. Here me out first, remember when Shanks came to Marineford to stop the war an Sengoku said we would listen because it is you. The Gorousei said the same thing to him when he came to speak to them. How could a Yonko just get a meeting with the Gorousei? They should be the most wanted pirates and with most of the World Government's strongest fighters there, it would be a prime chance to kill him, but why did they not say anything?
I am not saying Shanks is a bad guy by any means. I think that Roger knew about the void century and what happen. I think Joy Boy was the owner of the hat that is being held in Mary Geoise, and Roger started wearing a strawhat to symbolize Joy Boy and the will of the void century, that they would never die. I don't think it has any powers or anything, just that it is symbolic of Joy Boy and his ideals. I think Shanks told Roger his identity, and that Rogers gave Shanks the hat anyway because Shanks was a D and could carry on the legacy.
I originally thought that Shanks was only a D and was maybe Luffy's uncle or something on his mother's side, but with him showing up at Mary Geoise, its obvious that there is more to him.
I have had a few drinks so I am kind of rambling but I also think the Gorousei came about in 1 of 2 possible ways, Either they were alive during the void century and was granted immortality for their deeds during the battle against the ancient kingdom, or they are all former fleet admirals and each were granted immortality after their devotion to the world government using the ope ope no mi. I think the 2nd option because they all seem to be old with the exception of one of them, and after they retired IM and the other Gorousei approached them and told them the truth about IM
I think he is a government experiment that got away from the world government. It was stated that he was tortured and put to death a bunch, I think the world government was trying to create invincible soldiers and Big Mom somehow saved Kaido from this inadvertently, and she took him under her wing for a bit as they were a part of the Rocks
Those strong level six criminals at impel down, why haven't the world government turned them into robots they could control? Just the way they did Bartholomew? I imagine they must be really strong (with dangerous devil fruits).
I'm predicting it was because vegapunk can't erase anyone's personality if they are Strong-willed (or if their subconscious are not willing to let go), hence the reason why Bartholomew giving his consent to the experiment was necessary.
I'm predicting that vegapunk has now found a way to get around that problem (or inconvenience), and can currently turn anyone to robots even without their willing-consent.
This could be why Fujitoro was confident they no longer need the warlord system, as they can now easily make/turn any strong/dangerous criminal their 100% loyal servant.
Now, imagine the likes of Doflamingo and all captured dangerous criminals you can think of as the world government's puppets (for real this time).

Pre-Skip, his facial expressions were very composed when not in the middle of battle. Post-Skip he looks always angry and has also started smoking. Akainu is the type of guy that goes into close quarter combat with Whitebeard, so I don't think stress from his promotion is the reason for his change in facial expression.
I think it is much more likely that, given they fought for ten days, Akainu received neural damage from his battle with Kuzan and now has constant headaches. Because that's what Ice can do.

I don't think it's stress, but nerve damage seems like a stretch. I think it may be frustration with the fact that he gets to magma punch pirates less and less. Now he's forced to be the voice of moderation on things he would have been excited to do when he was an admiral. I imagine for instance, that Akainu would have found a coniving excuse to kick Doffy's ass himself and get around the shichibukai status (something squardo vs whitebeard style).
I think Akainu will fight Sanji in the future and Sanji will open a can of whoopass on Akainu, that is why Akainu is shown smoking...foreshadowing ya see.....
Or Smoker is gonna be the fleet admiral, foreshadowing...
