With Ufotable doing it, do you guys a big boost in the manga? I heard they anime are usually big in Japan
Anythings possible a "big" boost is arguable but a boost in general is still in the realm of possibility.

Iirc I think their recent title from 2017 Katsugeki sold well like 15k in BD's. The anime sales should be solid but not sure about manga boost. This is like their first manga adaptation? No one really knows unless they've done a manga adaption before.

Nope. Also pretty much outside TM properties and Sword Boys they've made nothing but flops. Kimetsu is a really hard sell for casual audiences, so it getting a big boost is an unattainable goal but hey anything can happen.

I hope they adapt until the Demon Train arc, just imagining Tanjirou's dream or
animated...

I can't believe they fake us out earlier this month with a completely unrelated Shueisha property adaptation by ufotable only to come back again and reveal they're also adaptating Kimetsu
I was hoping the Fate creator conspiracy theory was true. ufotable didn't have much planned either, so I was secretly hoping it would happen. It's funny how we initially thought they would be doing Neverland.

It's impossible to predict really. It depends where they air it, at what time, if the fans get into the anime. If the right fans get really engaged on Twitter and on other places, it could really become huge. ufotable haven't adapted any manga for TV in like 10 years. If you don't count the Fate cooking manga I suppose. I think Aniplex having it is a good thing since they're good at promoting their properties and generating hype in Japan. Aniplex also handle merchandise well, so I expect to see a lot of cool products.

Nope. Also pretty much outside TM properties and Sword Boys they've made nothing but flops. Kimetsu is a really hard sell for casual audiences you have to be an absolute weirdo to enjoy it (hence why Togashi and Nasu shilled for it) so it getting a big boost is an unattainable goal but hey anything can happen.
Maybe the manga is also successful because of its own merits as well, crazy concept. It's not really a hard sell if it's doing this well at the moment, don't you think?

Yup.

I can guarantee you that the people who read Kimetsu in Japan arent't the casual Jump audience and forget about kids getting into it

Already pretty strong from the fanarts I've seen and this cool vid.
Aniplex, you know what to do.

The anime might attract some casuals in between as well. But mostly... a lot of fujos, if I had to guess.

Exciting times. Jump got their next pillars. Black Clover, Yuragi, Kimetsu no Yaiba, Promised Neverland, soon Dr. Stone. Looks like all the promotion paid off.

TPN and KNY both have anime studio, this thread will be less cluster again, thank you based Nakano.:hi

There is something about the shogi manga make me really enjoy it, even though it follows sport manga formula to a tee. The alien manga still hasn't impressed me but i vote for both on the Jump Start Viz.

Couple posts ago people say Soma should have end after the Central Arc. I disagree, if it does end in the central arc then I would hate the overall manga more than I did with the Central Arc. So yes, I would like another arc after the Central Arc. Anymore then that it would be no bueno to me personally. Don't @ me though xD.

I've been reading the current chapter of MHA with the festival arc. So i went from stopping at chapter 90 (before the hideout raid) and resume at the start of the festival arc, what an awkward reading experience. Same thing with BC lol (stop at chapter 10 resume at the current arc) :ck

Yo. Am I not dreaming. Did Kimetsu really get Ufotable? Can the world be truly so beautiful?
