The Story
After a surprise attack by the Monster Alliance, the Hero Association searched high and low for the location of the Monsters’ lair. Rumors of monsters meeting in secret inside of Z-City has lured a rag-tag group of C-class heroes wanting to risk everything to become S-class. Only, unknown to them, the city is a deathtrap. The enemy has planted a group of monsters inside the hero team wanting to sacrifice them to Master Orochi for power. Day and Night - these heroes have to fight their way out of the city while trying to uncover who among their group is a monster.
Special Mechanic:
Hunters and Limit Breakers
Hunters and Limit Breakers
No matter how much effort one puts in, every living being has an intrinsic limit to its growth. Too much power becomes unbearable and overwhelms its host, turning it into a mindless rampaging monster. To ensure that we do not enter the realm where we lose all purpose and ability to reason, God has set limits to the growth of every being. The mechanism with which growth is controlled is called the limiter.
-Dr. Genus
Whether you are monster or hero, your aim is always to grow in power. Heroes want to reach S-class level, while Monsters want to be recognized as God-level threats. There are two ways to reach that goal; either as a HUNTER, or as a LIMIT BREAKER.
The exact conditions for both sides to reach the top are a mystery to all, but not completely - because the monsters have been informed of the level-up conditions of both categories of heroes. It will be your job to recognize the liars among them and bring them to justice. Good luck, heroes.

- All fighters improve by experiencing victory and defeat, either their own or that of others. Such is the case for both Hunters and Limit Breakers, but what differentiates them, as well as how exactly they are able to spur their own individual growth, is still unclear.
- Upon reaching S-class level, townie Hunters receive a single, anonymous extra vote to cast during a Day phase of their choice (just like a single-use ability of the Noble role), but townie Limit Breakers receive a single extra use of their own role's action.
- Be wary, for the monsters have their own Hunters and Limit Breakers which level up in a similar way. However, as befits the antithesis of heroes, their rules are inverted; mafia Hunters receive the extra action, while mafia Limit Breakers get the extra vote.
