Lupin's OVAs are mostly "films" though? Everything with a higher episode count than 1/2 in Lupin's franchise is a TV show?

Yeah, but lots of people sort of count different series as “seasons”, which would mean that Lupin III in itself is one series. But I guess we’re going with the IMDb route again; what’s counted as a series there is what counts here?

IMDb is the must untrustworthy site when it comes to anime thought. I actually edited a lot of entries throughout harassing staff there.

Back in the day they counted all of Greed Island as a movie...

True. But most real anime sites split up the series by seasons and so forth, so you can’t really get any site which is consistent all the way through with what we want here.

Yeah, okay, but what's the limit then? To be specific. Can FLCL or HxH:Greed Island be eligible? Or PoT: Final Tournament or so?

I think since Final Tournament is a continuation, that just counts as Prince of Tennis..?

With HxH maybe.. or we’ll, maybe Greed Island is sort of a “season” of the HxH OVA series which continues the old anime series, so you could nominate the HxH OVA series (2002-2004)..? ... But yeah, each OVA is usually counted separately, so that wouldn’t be really right either.

FLCL should be eligible, it’s several full-length episodes (and it’s even getting two more seasons now).

There are some borderline cases for sure, like one of my favorites Time of Eve (Eve no Jikan), which is originally an ONA of six full episodes but was later turned into a film. I guess the ONA should be eligible but not the film? (even though the film is a sort of abridged version of the series)

I will count HxH(1999) + the three OVAS (Yorkshin City, Greed Island, and Greed Island: Final) as one (I will indicate it in the countdown in case different people actually voted HxH 1999 and Greed Island)

I will count HxH 2011 separately since it's a reboot.

I also PM’d my (completely non-unique) list just an hour or so ago.

But you guys are panicking over nothing, there’s still like 6 hours left.

My 11-20 (all of which were on my top 10 for some time each) consists of some I might actually consider objectively “better” than the ones in my top 10.. but excluded them for reasons like lesser personal re-watch value, how well they resonate with my current state of mind, etc.

Once again this is very much a favorite-list, not a best-list.
