Two series of Food Wars, Gintama, and Hinomaru Zumou would have to end this year.
I don't follow Food Wars too closely anymore, but it seems like it's still could keep going on for awhile. Gintama has been in the final arc for what feels like forever, not sure when (or if) it'll actually end lol. Doesn't Zumo have a long anime coming up soon? I honestly think they could potentially ax most or all of the newest series in this scenario.
Act-age is seemingly okay for now as it was used for the music festa promo, though the same goes for the Rising group. Still, I have little confidence in the editorial right now. The series they've put out have been more miss than hit and personally don't really interest me. I don't mind if they're not particularly well written as long as they entertain. They don't even do that for me. I read Ziga only when I see a matome site show me an image I find funny or interesting. I have no interest in following them. I also can't really see a pattern in the new series. Nakano said he wants more traditional shonen manga that kids will like and get attached to yet the stuff we get is hardly that. Build King might have potential but we don't know whether Shimabukuro will make that into a full series. I also don't really like the idea of depending on veterans like Kishimoto and Kubo to "save" them from their current situation. There's always been a higher chance of newbies and mangaka who've failed having a hit than a veteran that already had a hit.
Yeah, everything released between RxL and Act-Age has been axed, with the exception of Lycopene that just got transferred out. I'm getting some pretty strong mixed signals about Act-Age's survival. I would say it'd depend on how the 3 new series' first volume releases go on July 4, but didn't Bozebeats get cancelled before its first volume even came out? Ziga seems like it could end within the next 2 or so chapters, but the others still seem to be chugging along. I wonder if Jump is already gearing up some replacements?
Actually, the newest manga could all get axed to make space for a large batch since there's like 5 or 6 of them. Doubt it will happen though.
That's what I was wondering. RxL, Shokugeki, and Gintama all could also theoretically end, but I mostly see them cleanhousing the majority, if not all, of the newest stuff. Does anyone know how the Japanese have been responding to Momiji and Invade You?

lol, sorry, I didn't want to interrupt the subject of the topic with something only MHA-related.

I liked the concept, but the execution didn't grab me hard enough. So whether the series survives or not, I don't care.

Sadly seems like food wars will be going with the whole Blue/International saga so it won't be ending that soon as I expected unless it gets rushed hard.

I may start looking into the story again just solely because the Central arc is over. I probably could've tolerated it if it had been shorter, but my gosh did that largely awful arc drag on. It honestly looks like the oldest thing that could potentially end soon is RxL, and that's mostly because of its TOC placement. The volumes seem to be doing fine since apparently this has a pretty big digital following.

I have this theory.

Noah's Notes, Jujutsu and the soon to be axed Ziga are giving very little presence, but they still give presence.

Why do I say this? Because Momiji no Kisetsu literally has 0 presence. Is easy to forget this even exists. In part is because NN or Jujutsu are still the newcomers. A pity, MnK is a good manga.

Only 4 weeks for their first ranked ToC.

It is pretty true that the 2 newest ones seem to be generating absolutely no discussion basically anywhere I see on English-speaking sites. I can find discussion on the other 3 new ones and Act-Age, even if much of it is either doom & gloom or "please let _____ survive!" Momiji and Invade You seem like they could possibly buffer Jujutsu and Noah's Notes, unless either they ax all the new series or these 2 are actually generating positive traction on Japanese websites

FTFY. Not even that monster girl meme seems to have saved it. If I were that author, I would be jamming that commander girl into every possible scene in a desperate attempt to save it. However, Ziga is surely dead at this point.

U19 is truly the best thing that has happened to Shonen Jump in last years.

Meh, the mangaka should've concluded the series after the central saga in a few chapters, not introduce another arc/saga. It annoys me when a mangaka doesn't end the series to avoid mediocrity. Im dropping it.

What makes you think it has a pretty big digital following? We just have rankings to work with in Amazon, theres no sales figure.

I thought someone on here stated it had a big digital following from the fujos. I never bothered to look into it. I do recall seeing falling physical volume sales for it though

How often does Shueisha license anime-original movies? Like something akin to like Studio Ghilbi doing Spirited Away, or like how Darling in the Franxx was an original anime that got a manga adaptation, have they ever done something like that but in movie form? I'm wondering cause I just watched your name. the other day and wow, my eyes were blessed.

Your name was originally a light novel before the movie I think

SnS has no fujos lol

Whatever I just a new round of series at this point. A comedy would be really great....something really weird like bobobo is what I've always asked for.
