Anyone got spoilers on the first chapter of Tanaka Seiji? Was it to different from the one-shot?
wasn't that talking about the game they're currently playing (or at least vague enough to be insinuated as such). Viz cuts that stuff out so I had to go find fanscans, and I would take that as talking about the match not the series.Last week's chapter literally ended with "NEXT WEEK: THE CONCLUSION."
Now I'm confused. Is it going to survive, or is going to be axed by consecutive volumes?
From the sounds of it and with its color page i don't think its getting axed. Now I'm confused. Is it going to survive, or is going to be axed by consecutive volumes?
I think it's celebrating the end of the arc by releasing two consecutive volumes. That's how I see it.Now I'm confused. Is it going to survive, or is going to be axed by consecutive volumes?
I would've said that but I feel like they may do another saga regarding BLUE. This arc is filler and stupid. The mangaka/editors impress me with how bad this is.Popular series that were cancelled not getting announcements is exactly my point though.
Original reason I made this post was because recently a user remarked that Shokugeki couldn't end because there was no announcement.
Now while Shokugeki hasn't ended, the recent developments certainly seem like the developments of a soon to be cancelled manga. If it were to end it would not get an announcement.
Sorry if my logic is convoluted, my head is cluttered right now.
Someone (sorry I forget who) posted a few pages back an author comment from Fujimaki from near when it started that was something about how tough making a golf manga was (something along those lines) so for all we know he was offered to be moved to Jump+ but decided he'd rather end it and do something new.RobotxLaserbeam should get a sequel in Jump+
That might be a possibility, but I think they're releasing the two volumes consecutively to create some hype? I assume the two volumes contain the entire Death Island arc and maybe they'll center the promotion on that aspect, this might be WSJ trying out some new promotional methods. If it gets axed I'll be very confused about this whole scenario. The thing with Act-age is weird. It's not even three volumes long yet, but it's releasing vol 3 straight after 2? It'll barely have even reached it's 3 volume chapter quota before the volume releases. That means there'll be a sizeable gap between 3 and 4, hence why consecutive releases are generally only done when a series ends, or there are a significant amount of chapters not bound up in volumes yet (like HQ these next few months. Other series like HZ have done the same in the past I believe too). There's really no reason for it. Kinda makes me believe they had the series set to be cancelled, but decided to keep it at the last moment, and they'd already sorted out the volume release dates (although stuff is still delayed all the time, so idk), so they're passing it off as promotion.
What's so good about it? I'm thinking of checking it out.Act-Age be like a phoenix, he rised from the ashes beautifully and was reborn!
But man seriously so happy with Act-Age getting some love in Japan, now just hope that it will last longer than Sesuji or Samon
I'm following it just to see it through the end at this point but this arc is more of a "cooldown", connecting arc, though the actual plot points being brought up are not good indications of whats to come. If my prediction comes true, we may have another long arc with another long round of shokugekis to show off the new elite 10. However at this point, I think the damage has been done. They should aim to stay at their current state because they risk a further drop in sales.I would've said that but I feel like they may do another saga regarding BLUE. This arc is filler and stupid. The mangaka/editors impress me with how bad this is.
It's sad RxL got axed when it should've been SnS. The franchise for food wars has been declining for a while now, whereas RxL had potential. I feel like it'll get axed when these new series do well with their anime release (TPN/KnY) and then Jump will realize that they don't really need SnS.
, except One Piece. Can always put tax money in one piece.nothing from 7 translated chapters. It's pretty average. What's so good about it? I'm thinking of checking it out.
