I said this when Horikoshi was talking about MHA’s percent through the series.

When authors say that I think they’re basing the percentages on highlighted events they set through out the series.
Like if a series is 200 hundred chapters and the author says “it’s 50% done”. I don’t think he’s literally saying the series will end at chapter 400. He most likely just means he considers the current events to be the halfway mark. However he can’t predict how many chapters future arcs and events will take.

Depends on what mainstream hit means. One of the biggest changes that needs to happen is the way sales are counted since digital is becoming bigger year by year. Another thing to consider is the rate at which we get 200k sellers from Jump. Since 2014, we got 3 so far. Its been 1 per year from 2014-2016. 2017 seems to be the black sheep with the biggest sellers not even breaking 100k in the top 50 Oricon. Jujutsu might break 100k soon but we need to see its growth trend.

Yes, this is also true, even though the sales of One Piece are now far from the glories of the past.

In no way is OP ending in 5 years. That's not happening

This Wano arc in itself is stated to be "Great advAdvent" which will last 2-4 years which means longer than Dressrosa. Then u got everything else give or take Odas tendencies of expanding and stretching out
This series has at minimum 9+ years to go.

I think it can be seen as this
80-90% = dealing with Yonkous and finding OP
90-100% = The final arcs/war

I can only hope this is a promotional campaign for something anime related because its too late for the movie. The movie itself has good reviews but right now, its set to do worse than JoJo did in the first week at the box office.

I saw the sales predictions floating on the web. What a disappointment after all the promotions Shueisha put in place. Suddenly fan animation projects do not look to bad as i'm honestly super close to giving up on the anime. Who knows how much money the production committee are going to lose and the worse part is that the general opinion from people who have seen the movie are quiet positive.

According to this article, they put together an unprecedentedly huge budget so as to create a huge set and use the latest CG. All I can say is that this is simply too late. They should have done something like this, even an anime movie, years back.

whyd they do that with BLeach, I could see if it was like Naruto or One Piece, but BLeach/
