Ludociel knew Sun was destroying him, assuming Elizabeth knows anything about graces(if she's just ignorant, then perhaps she doesnt even know Sunshine's a grace), would likely know as well. Not sure what you mean when you say "what sake does it serve to call her stupid", but as for why her not revealing such information is terrible and stupid, its because it means that she:
1 - Chose not to help Escanor, her comrade, when she could have
2 - Put Escanor's life in danger by not warning him that the AA might be coming to take back the grace that unbeknownst to him, is inside him

Though i highly doubt Elizabeth knew that Sunshine was a grace
I find it very odd that you assume she didn’t know. The princess of the clan who has been noted to be highly skilled and someone with a personal relation with the four is assumed to be ignorant because she didn’t say anything? I find that quite strange and lacking in any logic to the point that it merely appears degredatory. Jelamet simply by being in maels presence and watching with her position in the military could immediately tell escanors power, but Eli couldn’t and was utterly clues despite being close to the four because of her position and rank? Does that really make sense to you?

What I meant was, what point does it serve for Eli to indicate his power. Your first point makes a bit of sense if that had happened. But I fail to see when she could have helped him or told him before ludo told him.
Your second point makes utterly little sense to me. What in the world makes you think that she knew the AA were going to come and take it? The DC were sealed and hadnt shown up for 3000 years the same as the GC. And yet a member of the GC who had regained her memories for the dozenth upon dozenth time, and had only held on to it for no more than a few hours where she was utterly occupied and not even around escanor for much of it after he woke up, is suppose to know they were to show up this time? Huh?

As it relates, I would like to know your view of Merlin not saying anything about Eli. And Mel not saying anything about Eli or gowther or even escanor as well seeing as you would think that someone who had encountered and likely fought mael would be privy to some information.

Really? I find it very odd that you'd assume she did know, considering that'd make her a despicable bitch. We all know Eli is one of the sweetest caracters in NNT, no way she neglects to tell Escanor if she knew what burdened him.
As for why Jelamet would know and Elizabeth wouldnt, Jelamet fought by Mael's side, Elizabeth stayed away from the battlefield. It is entirely possible that Mael spent all his time on the battlefield during the day, and only returned home a night, which would mean that the only interaction Elizabeth would have with Mael after he got Sun would be at night time, and if you recall, Ludociel was unable to sense Sun from night Escanor.

I didnt say Eli was weak just cause she didnt know Escanor had Sun.
Eli had plenty of chances to tell everyone about Escanor, while he was fighting Mel would be the obvious time, and the biggest reminder for her of Sun if it had somehow slipped her mind. Telling Escanor when overuse of Sunshine literally had him coughing up blood would also be a good time to do it, she was literally healing him from his own grace and she didnt think it was important to tell him? Then there was after she made her pact with Ludo, she definitely should have told Escanor then to prepare him for the possibility of getting attacked by the AA for his grace. So yeah, many, many times Eli couldve and shouldve told the gang about Escanor.

Merlin and Mel didnt say anything about Eli cause it risks triggering Eli's memories. For Gowther, Merlin says that he rejects the memories whenever they surface and she didnt know why, so even if Merlin and Mel were to talk to him about it, it wouldnt accomplish anything. For Escanor, i dont know the extent of Meliodas' knowledge or the details of their fight, its also possible that demons cant sense graces like goddesses can

Your first sentence, I find repulsive. Her concern for mel over escanor is reason enough to insult her actions. Really? Enough to disregard all previous actions and character to label her despicable? Your comment of only seeing him at night is a reach. The dude spied on her and Mel during the day. He has a crush on her. Other than “I don’t think so” I don’t have any other comment in regards to that.

Why should she have said anything about it?

I don’t think it’s a plot hole honesty.

She never mentioned that Estarossa killed Mael even after the three “brothers” met in the chamber to discuss collecting the commandmnets either.

She still claimed to have never seen him before in her life, even after her memories returned.

Tarmiel/Sariel/Ludoshel knew it was Estarossa of the 10 commandmnets that killed Mael. Tarmiel/Sariel recognized him as soon as they saw him. And sunshine as soon as it was active.

She never mentioned the sun grace, Mael’s death, or his killer even though those are all things she should know about, and came into contact with them all before the 3 archangels.

But she did mention she knew that Mera was a snake that absorbed hundreds of years worth of demon miasma to achieve the form she had. Why did she know that?

Because Mel told her. She seems to only retain info that revolves around Mel. I mean that is what she is most famous for within the context of the war, and seems to be the only real role she played in those events.

Being the girlfriend of the invincible legendary Meliodas, so I guess it makes sense, even if it’s kinda stupid.

I guess when you consider that she spent most of the war off the battlefield, or planning secret dates with Meliodas it’d make sense she acknowledges almost nothing of what happened during those times. She knows about Meliodas, and whatever he told her.

The blade of rhitta the appearance of the SD, were these not your foreshadowing? Why does this responsibility fall on elis head? Mel gave no indication of his knowledge of gowther. Merlin gave no indication of her relation to Eli. But you could connect it when the reveal came.

How long was it between Eli awakening and chandlers attack? Then how long was it between Elis return to the six. And then how long was it between that and ludos scuffle with escanor?
We don’t know if Rhitta is a goddess related item. As for why Mel and Merlin probably didn’t talk much about the graces, it’s probably because they did not want to risk accidentally spilling any information that Elizabeth could discover, otherwise it might trigger her memories.

As for Eli, she had plenty of time to tell Escanor. She could’ve told him
After the fight with Mel when they were walking so let’s just say 15 mins.
After he woke up and then started cleaning and before she noticed the miasma so cleaning an entire wreck, let’s just say 40 mins.
Anytime during the rest of that evening when they got back to liones (hours to talk to Escanor)
During the morning before Escanor went out. (She was also up early so let’s just say an hour)

Odds are though she might’ve been too focused on Mel. This is still the same girl that went on and on about wanting to heal Mel, yet left Escanor to just kinda suffer till he woke up.

As for Elizabeth not recognizing Mael’s grace because she was never on the battlefield, that makes perfect sense.

None of the 10C even recognize Elizabeth or who she is meaning she didn’t bring much fame/ recognition to her name on the field. Although she still should recognize it because it is a passive grace.

Rhitta being a GC item or not makes no difference. It was there for you to draw from.
I understand. She did indeed have time to tell him. Saving it for the AA to reveal and her preoccupation with Mel may have very well been the reasons she had said nothing. That comment about letting escanor suffer seems kinda odd to me tho. How do you know she didn’t between when he passed out and when he was placed on the bed?

Because Merlin stated that Escanor had sustained 98% damage from sunshine and from the fight. Yet when Elizabeth heals him after he wakes up he’s basically back in a healthy condition. I don’t see why Elizabeth would only heal two percent and then go on to heal the other 90+ percent at another time. Plus Escanor still had blood stains on himself while he was asleep

Its completely true though, and its more than enough of a reason to insult her actions if she did indeed know. Eli being more concerned about Meliodas doesnt change anything, Meliodas doesnt lose anything if she were to tell Escanor, she doesnt even need to leave his side to do it, just say "c'mere Escanor, i have some info for you". Elizabeth was literally healing Escanor from the damage Sun did to him, if she didnt tell him then its either because she didnt know or because she chose not too, and if its the latter then she just became the character i hate most in the series, i cant stand traitors.

Being able to tell magic apart isnt useful if she has never experienced that magic before, she shouldnt be able to just automatically sense a magic she has never sensed before.

You're the one who is confused my friend, Escanor coughed up blood and Eli healed him
"Ecanor, whats wrong" says cute little Merlin while looking worried as backlash from Sun tortures Escanor. "Oh i shouldve told you Merlin, the magic infesting Escanor's body is actually the grace of an AA and it will destroy him" says a non-despicable/ignorant Elizabeth trying to help out her comrades.

As for not having time before Ludo, Escanor was literally right behind her when she discovered his presence, the moment Ludo was gone she shouldve warned Escanor.

Elizabeth not helping someone would be very OoC since she's a character obssesed with helping everyone. In fact, if one day it's revealed that she indeed was aware of Escanor's condition and still didn't do anything for not caring, making her a traitor, then her character would do a complete turn.
I incline that she didn't know about the grace since she never cared about battle-things/is too naive for those things.

Sorry if I was unclear but you seem to use this one instance to render her actions beforehand and her character obsolete.
Sooo do you hate Mel for not telling the seven about the ten and their abilities beforehand? Did you hate ban when he tried to kill Mel?

Your opinion of her is already low so I understand how you can grow to hate her so easily. “This girl is caring” “she wants to protect even her enemies” “she is kind” “there is one instance where she may have contradicted this for reasons” “I hate her.” I have trouble seeing eye to eye with this.

So you think that she had never met mael during the day?

I figured you were referring to that scene. Doesn’t Merlin point to the reason of his coughing fit on that very page?

Warn him against ludo. Okay

Me too, she likely never spent any time around day Mael.

Mel - Nope, why would he bother? All of them together would get slaughtered by a single commandment anyway, not including Escanor obviously.
Ban - Yes, though not as much as i would hate Elizabeth if she did indeed choose to not tell Escanor. Though after his moments with Zhivago i have long since forgiven him

Why would you say my opinion of Elizabeth is low? It might not be sky high like yours but i like her just fine. Like i said, i am almost certain that Elizabeth didnt know about Sunshine, i am only saying IF SHE DID, she's a terrible person, but i know she didnt, so she isnt.

Perhaps before Mael received Sun Elizabeth had spent time around Mael during the day, but after that he wouldve spent most of that time using his new powers on the battlefield with Ludo killing demons.

Merlin doesnt answer, Elizabeth does by saying "his body is still in bad shape", when she instead couldve and shouldve said(if she knew) that Sun was the cause of all his problems.

Yes, exactly, warn him against Ludo and all other AA.

The guy that has a crush on her and even spy’s on her and Mel does not bother to interact with her during the day. For decades. Okay.

Why would Mel bother to tell them if they were going to be killed anyway. Why would Eli tell him if he’s going to die anyway. Is that not a double standard? Feel free to explain. Hey what if she came to the conclusion that the grace accepted? Or because she knew he had it for years and he gave no indication to her that he was suffering ill effects other than a very normal stress from over exertion. Possible? Maybe?

I do not believe that someone can use one instance of lack of communication and consideration, over many examples of care, concern, and consideration, to state that they hate the character and, in light of this, say that their opinion of said character was not already fairly low.

My sky high opinion, is one where I do not like to render a judgement on a character without knowing the situation and result. I like to question why something was done and have the answer given to me before I render a verdict off of pre conceived and ill rationalized judgements.

Escanor started coughing. Eli questioned if he was in bad shape. He continued coughing. Eli healed. King right after noted feeling under the weather “too”(referencing escanor) Merlin turns and notes Mel. I thought it was pretty straightforward. It was Mel’s miasma torturing the recuperating escanor not the “torture of suns backlash”

sariel and tarmiel showed no malice. Eli is on much better terms with them. Why drag them into it?

What, night time isnt enough for you? Maybe he just works long shifts lol. Its war, in case you have forgotten, and Mael is the most valuable member of the GC's side, squandering his daytime power isnt something the GC is likely to do.

Not at all, because the info could help Merlin cure Escanor. Whats worse is that as far as Elizabeth knows, Escanor might not even know how dangerous Sun is to himself, she could warn him, help him, tell him to give it up.

Escanor gave no indication? Him falling unconscious and coughing up blood wasnt enough indication for you?
But lets say you're right, and that wasnt enough indication, doesnt change the fact that a human cant handle a grace and that it would destroy him, you dont think thats worth warning Escanor about? Because Ludociel certainly did.

Lack of communication and consideration? I wouldnt hate Elizabeth for something so minor. I would on the other hand hate someone who didnt give enough of a crap about a comrade to tell them about the affliction that would eventually kill him. This is especially true since it costs Elizabeth absolutely nothing to do it.

Then i guess i have a sky high opinion of Elizabeth too, since i havent rendered judgement on her, you know, cause i dont believe she knew about Sun as i've told you for the thousanth time

It was pretty straight forward, but the reason Escanor was recuperating in the first place was because of Sun's backlash, and thats something she should have mentioned.

Sar and Tar are on good terms with her, but that doesnt make them good people. A couple of dudes willing to slaughter thousands of civilians to lure in the 10 commandments wouldnt hesitate to kill Escanor for his grace.

Sar and Tar are on good terms with her, but that doesnt make them good people. A couple of dudes willing to slaughter thousands of civilians to lure in the 10 commandments wouldnt hesitate to kill Escanor for his grace.
Info could have helped Merlin find a cure. In a day. Escanor was born with it. It got him abandoned and cast away from home. He views it as a curse. “Abandon it” seems rather invalid as he probably would if he could.

No him falling over and coughing blood was not. He received damage from a fight and over exertion. And all of that is from his own power alone? Ludo was under the impression he stole it and viewed it as idiotic because of the fate of such an action. What then about someone born with it? Ludo had a different reaction when escanor told him that.

Afliction. Was it something he picked up off the street? I had asked you if you hated Mel for not warning the seven about the people that would kill them. You said no because it wouldn’t matter, one can kill them anyway. There’s no benefit they could possibly reap from that kind of info but there is when it comes to info Eli coul have given with the few hours after awakening she had right? That seems hypocritical to me.

“She is not at fault cause she didn’t know” “if she did know, she is at fault.” Those are called judgements. You have made two.

“The reason he was recuperating was because of sun.” Not because he was beat stabbed and burned senseless? I believe the first time he indicated something wrong outside of battle was that cough of blood before going out to battle with the ludo squad. Which no one noticed

Did they not keep their promise to their hosts? Good people was not my point. Not ludo, pretty much.

Why has this thread turned into you trying to point out flaws in my argument to prove that i hate Elizabeth? Seriously dude, stop accusing me, its pissing me off, i've already said i dont have a low opinion of Elizabeth, and that this is only a "what if scenario" i shouldnt need to say anything more than that. I'll answer the questions from your post, but this is the last time im replying to any of this "hypocrite" bullshit.
-Merlin doesnt need to find a cure in a day, Escanor isnt on his deathbed yet, she has plenty of time to find a cure.
-Abandoning it would probably be out of the question, but warning him of the danger it poses to ordinary humans would still be the right thing to do.
-Overexertion doesnt have anyone else 98% damaged, the reason was stated clear as day, Sunshine was the reason Escanor is in such bad shape.
-Ludo had a different reaction because he assumed Escanor stole it, not because he was relieved that it wouldnt kill him or whatever you were implying.
-Not in the slightest, he never intended to let them escape, and told the sins when they did.
-Alright, they're judgments, doesnt at all relate to me having a low opinion of Eli though, since i already made it perfectly clear which i believe is true
-Then whats your point? Because mine was that Sar and Tar being buddies with Eli, wont make them any less likely to kill Escanor.

It just comes down to common human decency, she has information that greatly affects Escanor's life, a secret that could potentially get him killed, a secret that costs her nothing to divulge, yet you are telling me that the kind and compassionate Elizabeth just decided to keep it to herself? And that keeping it to herself doesnt make her a terrible person?
Does she not think Escanor deserves to know more about himself or about something that could kill him? If so, does this make her a bad person?
Does she not care if Ludo kills Escanor for his grace? If so, does this make her a bad person?
Does she care so little for her comrades that she didnt even consider revealing the secret worth her time? If so, does this make her a bad person?
