So thanks to the revelations of AM to Deku about OFA´s origins, we got to see, possibly one of the most haxed quirks in the whole series, one quirk with the ability to steal and giveaway quirks, which many speculate, works when in contact with AFO´s hand palms (which have a small black spot), making it a contact, Emitter like quirk (Theory here: )

Aside from this, AFO has the capacity to have multiple quirks on his body, without any of the Noumofication consequences, other quirk users or regular people would suffer from, which enables him to retain his intelect while using many different quirks, which enables him to do devastating combos, which puts him easily on PL similar to AM´s. According to his talk with Jeanist (http://mangafox.me/manga/boku_no_hero_academia/v10/c089/11.html), he´s also picky about which quirks he would prefer stealing, possibly because whichever quirk he steals he must want to integrate it into his combos and not all quirks will do (it´s not known if AFO has the ability to or stole any Mutation like quirk, it´s possible that if he could a reason for him not to do so, would be due to said type of quirks, not synch well, in conjunction with the Emitter and Transformation ones, or perhaps AFO has a quirk weakness regarding stealing that type of quirks, but even so, he still has noumos with that type of quirk (it´s not known if they were original mutant quirk users who were noumofied with additional, emitter and transformation quirk transferences, or else) (we could discuss this if you all want)).

However it´s also implied, that the AFO´s quirk stocking capacity is possibly heavily dependant on AFO´s current health conditions, if it decays, AFO, himself will likely suffer consequences (http://mangafox.me/manga/boku_no_hero_academia/v10/c088/17.html), which lead him to reduce the number of quirks he´s carrying either for efficience sake of at least being able to use said quirks via the noumos, or by health consequences and he also has a hard time using teleportation quirks while in his current state and could easily be cancelled out from performing it, in his current state by post operation AM (http://mangafox.me/manga/boku_no_hero_academia/v11/c091/19.html), but still showcased the ability to use transmission and Reversal impact in synch (http://mangafox.me/manga/boku_no_hero_academia/v11/c091/16.html). The AFO quirk also cant steal the OFA quirk, due to the transfer aspects of the younger brother´s quirk, which prevent it from being forcefully stolen (http://mangafox.me/manga/boku_no_hero_academia/v07/c059/11.html), this is the only quirk to date that is confirmed to be impossible of being stolen, by AFO.

In addition AFO can give control options to the noumofied, he makes by overloading quirk users or anyother human with too many quirks, noumos which he has showcased til this day in the series to have a 100% control over, whoever he chooses to give command of them over, works selectively, they can work from anyone he chooses, like Tomura, Dabi, etc...

The only known weakness when it comes to this quirk, it´s that it can easily lead to the downfall of it´s user if cases were targets who are bestowed multiple quirks by the user have them merge together happens (http://mangafox.me/manga/boku_no_hero_academia/v07/c059/15.html) ,since said cases can result in the creation of quirks with the potential to surpass those the user can steal and form combos with, but the odds of this happening are unlikely.

Having concluded the explanation about the quirk, lets now go around, the quirks AFO stolen, planned to, or had previously before his fight results with prime All Might and afterwards and which he would be more likely to steal in the future:

Currently in the story (acording to Gran Torino: http://mangafox.me/manga/boku_no_hero_academia/v11/c092/7.html):
1. Ragdoll´s "Search" (http://mangafox.me/manga/boku_no_hero_academia/v09/c072/7.html)
2. "Forced Quirk Ativation" (the strangest part about this quirk is that AFO uses it via his fingers (http://mangafox.me/manga/boku_no_hero_academia/v11/c090/7.html), with weird aditional aspects which suggests he´s using the said quirk with a possible aditional unamed quirk (http://mangafox.me/manga/boku_no_hero_academia/v11/c090/13.html))
3. "Atmospheric Compression" (AFO´s main ranged attack used after his fight with AM 5 years ago, a strong emitter class quirk he uses along with other quirks that enables him to easily to counter or overpower other emitter class quirk attacks like Endeavour´s (http://mangafox.me/manga/boku_no_hero_academia/v11/c093/5.html))
4. "Locomotive Corkscrew" (Key quirk in his combos it adds a lot of kinetic strength to his combo quirk attacks, which he would hardly have otherwise)
5. "Explosiveness" x4 (A key component for AFO´s quirk combos it seems to add a higher range to his attacks by adding, more power to the attack by increasing their explosiveness, since it´s mentioned as "Explosiveness" x4 and not something like "x4 Explosiveness" it´s credible to think (assuming the translation is correct), that AFO is using 4 explosiveness individual quirks to enhance his combos)
6. "Muscular Enhancement" x3 (Same logic as before, AFO is using 3 individual "Muscular Enhancement" quirks, to increase his muscle mass and not only handle the recoil from his haxed combo blows, but also increase their overall strength, if possible depending on how AFO combines it with his set of quirks, in a direct close combat scenario this set of quirks assume a larger importance for increasing the strength of the blows than the ranged attacks)
7. "Hypertrophy" (this quirk translates to a ability of enlargement of an organ or tissue from the increase in size of its cells, fundamental for AFO´s Main close range punch´s by having it take eff on AFO´s arm)
8. "Multiplication" (serves as another way for AFO to multiply the offensive damage of his punch combo, by multiplying more arms and bone spears, into a big grotesque mass, for adding more weight and size to the punch)
9. "Bone Spear" (helps increasing the arm´s size and weight when used in AFO´s main combo, but could potentially serve as a way for AFO to impale his targets if used differently)
10. "Rivet" (Possibly the most important part of AFO´s punch combo, since it serves to tie the multiplied Bone Spears and arms together, while at the same time adding some metal into the combo, for more weight and stability to the punch, so that AFO can throw it and maintain it)
11. "Airwalk" (AFO´s quirk for ignoring the laws of gravity, which allows aditional use of gravitational force into his combo punch, making it even more devastating).
12. "Transmission" (AFO´s teleportation quirk, it´s a new addition to AFO´s collection and as such he didnt mastered how to use it for covering large distances, it also requires (when he´s sending the targets) for him to teleport his targets to someone whom he has a close relationship with to work (http://mangafox.me/manga/boku_no_hero_academia/v11/c090/13.html)
13. "Reversal Impact" (clearly AFO´s main anti-AM quirk).

Possible prime AFO quirks:

1. "Destruction" (Shigaraki´s current quirk, it´s unknown if he would´ve been born with this quirk to begin with consideering his origins, it´s very likely AFO gave this quirk to him and AM´s wound from AFO matches the initial effects of the "Destruction" quirk)
2. "Shock Absorbtion" (consideering AFO said his stock diminished, it´s very likely that at least this or other quirks used to boost the first noumo physically, or both, were initially quirks that AFO was using well in his prime, because he would need them, in order to remain physically resistant and dominant to the increasing in power OFA sucessors (except for hyper regen, because the doctor said how AFO would´ve haxed out of his injuries from Prime AM if he had gotten that in time)).

Taking all of this into account I want to hear your thoughts on the AFO quirk, Hori, clearly took inspiration into a generic concept for this quirk, but was smart enough to add a few points here and there to make it interesting, can this quirk be transfered? If so how do you think AFO can? Along with many other things left to discuss, like how can AFO increase his combo power, which other characters might get their quirks stolen, etc...

Well, AFO is a Quirk too so I think it can be transferred. I don't really have the impression that he is picky about what to steal, he said he was not interested because Jeanist's Quirk would not fit Shigaraki. He also said he lost several abilities after his last battle.

Shigaraki's Quirk is probably natural, that obsession with his "father" implies that he accidentally killed him or something, I am not convinced but considering how it works, accidental deaths would not be surprising.

This panel implies he killed his father imo
Btw, I think it's pretty much a given that AFO will transfer the quirk to Shigaraki

It's because it's so easy to assume that he has killed his dad that I think it's not that simple. Maybe AFO killed him who knows.

Consideering the measures Nana took, when it came to Shigaraki, it´s very likely that AFO or one of his associates killed Shigaraki´s dad.

But that hand is really big, is that really Shigaraki´s father? It could be another guy Shigaraki killed in self defense with his quirk.

Well it's more a case of AFO starting to become picky about what steal after the results of his fight against prime AM, but regardless even before with "several more quirks", we know by the younger brother's backstory that he would at least give away quirks that were of no proper use for him to someone else just not as frequently as after he got nerfed which lead to the high number ocurrence of noumo incidents.

When he mentions jeanist's quirk he knows it wont work well for shigaraki because shigaraki has poor experience with using anyother quirk besides his destructo hand and it would require him years of experience to be able to use it as well as jeanist does, AFO seems to want shigaraki to only get quirks easier to activate for greater pratical effects with the least amount of experience required (and great synergy with other quirks to boost the power output) because even if AFO could transfer all of his quirks to shigaraki the experience of years that AFO had to master the usage of all of those quirks would be impratical for shigaraki thats another reason why AFO gave many of his old quirks to the noumos and changed his quirk set for something more pratical, adaptable to use against OFA users, etc...
--- Double Post Merged, ---
Oh yes, I remember thinking for a while back that AFO might plan to transfer all of his current quirks to Shigaraki, via some sort of quirk transference condition, he needs someone else to do for him, for instance in order to transfer OFA for a new host the current one most give the target a piece of his DNA and have him/her ingest it, nothing substantially bad seems to happen to the one who transfers it, aside from losing the capacity to use the stocked lifeforce as it´s being transfered, the process also takes a while to take place despite the fact that the host receives a nice chunk of lifeforce right from the get go, the life force of the old user only gets transfered by death. But regardless the transference of this quirk takes into account the user´s wishes and forces the quirk to be bestowed upon the target.

This made me think what if AFO taking into account his pathetic life support condition, decided to set up everything so that he would be sent to Tartarus and once Shigaraki grows up as a villain to come rescue him, he just tells him to put him out of his misery with his destruction quirk? Maybe if he´s killed by shigaraki´s quirk he can trigger another quirk eff to allow the transference upon death, or a unknown AFO quirk eff that will allow the transference of his powers to him (due to necessary outside interference)? Thats my guess, a death requirement by someone else to transfer a quirk like AFO, would seem very fitting for a villain, that way the Ruler never truly dies but just has another one take his place and serves as a interesting contrast to OFA.

If you had the All For One quirk and could make any kind of combination with the quirks you stole what would they be and what quirks would you use?

For me I would do Creation and Overhaul or Deacy and Rewind

Toga's transformation quirk with Monoma's copy quirk. It be a scare combo not only would you transform into that person but you become thier perfect copy.

I could see AllforOne giving Toga this quirk. It would be bitter sweet.

I like this one not because of how scary it would be but it would put Monoma in his place though couldn’t Shigaraki give Toga Monoma’s quirk if he already has All For One I mean maybe the league attacks the school during the 5th match and Shigaraki steals Monoma’s quirk and then gives it to Toga.

I mean that's if or when Shigaraki gets All-for-one. I feel that he will if we get a jailbreak arc that could be he's graduation gift from AFO for becoming a criminal mastermind able to break him out.
I honestly see most of the league getting powerups if Shigaraki gets the All-for-One quirk. Allmight said in the past that other quirks like One for All were made by mixing quirks together. That's why I see the copy quirk going to Toga so easily.

Well Shigaraki getting All For One does give me another reason to look forward to the jail break arc though I wonder how long til we have to wait til the jail break arc happens but besides that I wonder what power ups the league will get. Also Toga getting Monoma’s quirk makes sense since in Toga’s early prototype design she was able to copy quirks when she transformed though For Toga to get Monoma’s quirk the league would have to get their hands on him first.

All For One is the ability to steal others powers and give them to others but what of kind flaws and limitations does it have and how can it be transferred?

From the looks of things I'd say it doesn't really have to many limitations to it seeing as
its able to give a quirk to a quirkless individual, as well as removing a mutation type quirk
the only flaw that seems to be is that a person cannot receive multiple quirks without some kind of mutation occurring within a person those being turning into a nomu, which is likely the highest chance of happening to an individual, or in rare cases become like OFA fusing the quirks together making a new one. Honestly the theory that AFO can transfer his own personal quirk seems really bad because if he can what would happen to all the quirks AFO(the person) has stockpiled seeing as the original quirk used to take said quirks is gone from AFO (the person) the possibility is pretty high that AFO (the person) would become a nomu as a result of transferring AFO (the quirk) now the argument could be made that he could transfer the stockpiled quirks first, but the person he transferred the quirks to would likely become a nomu themselves which would render the transfer of AFO (the quirk) to said person slightly pointless in the end as nomu's have hampered mental capacity as a result of becoming a nomu.

So, AFO is obviously the series current Big Bad. He is an immortal mastermind that can steal other people’s quirks.

Being around for a long as he has, you would think that he would have had plenty of time to figure out what the optimal quirks to steal are. However, because this is a Shonen manga, his quirks are biased towards head on battle, even if this is limiting in many ways.

If you had no such limitations and could steal any quirk you wanted, what would you steal?

These are the rules.
1) You can only steal 10 quirks maximum.
2) You can only steal quirks that have been shown in the main BNHA manga.
3) You can not steal OFA.

My List.

1) Longevity:
AFO currently has this one, and it is a must have. All your plans die with you, so you had best stay alive.

2) High Spec:
The limit on almost everyone accomplishing their goals is intelligence. This quirk grants probably the largest boost we have seen so far.

3) Overhaul:
Mainly this would be fire self-healing and regeneration, but it also offers good battle potential.

4) Erasure:
Possibly the most powerful 1v1 quirk, if you are allowed modern weapons. Also, this quirk + any quirk that is capable of inflicting damage renders any opponent practically defenseless.

5) Search:
Gathering intel is a huge advantage. As is knowing people’s weaknesses.

6) Foresight:
Same reason as 5. I also think this quirk is hugely underrated.

7) Warp Gate:
Great for escaping and getting minions from one place to another.

8) Rewind:
We don’t know what the limits on this one are, but I would still take it as returning things to their previous state is an incredibly useful ability.

9) Whirlwind:
Strict upgrade over Air Walk in terms of mobility, and provides a good amount of battle power.

10) Permeation:
Would take a ton of time to master, but being untouchable is more than worth it.

So, what would you take? Would you set yourself up for head on battle, or would you take a more technical approach? Are their any crazy combos that you can think of?

1. Longevity

2.High Specs

3.Creation
With this and High Specs, the possibilities are endless

4.Half Cold Half

5.Permeation

6.Foldabody

7.Fibermaster
4-7 are just really powerful quirks. And I’m not exactly sure how some one can defend themselves with those quirks together. Foldabody and Permeation is a dangerous combination.

8. Whatever Quirk AFO used to increase his strength

9.Super Regeneration

10. Shock Absorbtion

9-10 make it difficult to deal any damage unless you have an emitter quirk

I really wanted Dragon because I feel like it would be insanely powerful with other quirks. And I feel like with High Specs and Creation with enough work I could simply make something to take quirks away. i considered Wave Motion and Manifest too. I didn’t think about Warp because I don’t plan on losing.

And if you wait long enough and watch Transform can give you access to just about whatever quirk you want.

You’re right permeation and anything with any sort of ranged capabilities creates a deadly combo. Especially, foldabody.

The idea of a long range quirk like foldabody made me realize that you could put together a deadly sniper package with OFA.

1) Whirlwind: though any quirk that enables flight would do.

2) Invisibility: Let’s you remain unseen.

3) Permeation: Prevents retaliation damage.

4) Search: Let’s you always know where the targets are.

5) Erasure: Can erase anyone that can heal through or withstand projectiles, Kirishima, Tetsutetsu etc.

6) Zoom: Better sight, and the ability to use erasure at extreme range.

7) Gatling: The source of your projectiles and can be used in rapid fire.

8) Homing: Allows for all your projectiles to be precision controlled.

9) Steel: Allows for the Keratin bullets of Gatling to be transformed into steel for better piercing.

10) Twin Impact: Gives you a secondary hit on all targets after the first.

Basically, you would just fly around invisibly above the battlefield. Scout out everyone’s abilities with search. Look on to your target with zoom and erase their quirk if needed.

Afterwards you transform to Steel, and shoot with Gatling to get metal bullets. Then just control the trajectories with homing, and hit them again with twin impact.

If someone manages to pinpoint you location, even though you’d be invisible, just use permeation and get out of there. Additionally, permeation might be able to allow you to shoot through walls and obstacles, since the bullets come from your body.

Edit:
Basically, I don’t see how to stop this combo. All it’s missing is a really good poisonous quirk. For poisonous bullets.

Also, you probably want Explosion and Acid. You could use explosion to increase the initial projectile power. Then if you coated them in acidic and explosive sweat you may be able to blow up the bullets at the target and dissolve them with acid.

If you mix Decay, Overhaul and Overclock you’re pretty much always one touch away from winning. And everyone will struggle to avoid you.

True. The scary thing is, with Shigaraki in possession of overhaul’s arm, I can imagine him with a combination like this.

Disregarding the rules, I would deprive the villains and that includes the Yakuza and MLA's quirks.

My List:
1. Fibermaster. For my lewd purposes.
2. Overhaul.
3. Decay.
4. Longevity
5. Rewind
6. Hardening for my lewd purposes with Fibermaster.
7. HCHH
8. Copy. IIRC, Monoma gets a better understanding of using it. With AFO in tandem, I can understand better?
9. Force Quirk Activation.
10. Search.

Well, if going for maximum villainness I would go for.....

1.- rewind: Being able to revert things presents a number of opportunities when it comes to villainness. You could heal yourself thus vastly prolonging your combat capacity, you could rewind others thus leaving them as basically fetuses on the street... You could heal your own minions as well at virtually no cost. You also get to play god with your expendable minions further. And if you start running out of expendable minions you can simply rewind them.

2.- Overhaul: This is one of the strongest quirks in the manga.... You basically manipulate matter. And it also has excellent synergy with rewind as if you didn't quite get the result you originally wanted out of something you still get a do over. The quirk could even make decay obsolete thus freeing a spot for another quirk.

3.- Brainwashing: Also a brokenly evil quirk. It's a shame for shinso that regardless of how much he tries there are virtually no ethical ways to actually use his quirk. Even if he does succeed in becoming a hero using his quirk against fellow human beings presents issues. Anyways, if merely talking to you makes you vulnerable then this quirk is ideal. Specially if you have rewind and overhaul to fiddle with.

4.- Creation: Momo is notably incompetent when using the quirk but in reality it is extraordinarily useful. And in the hands of a villain even more so. It also presents interesting opportunities when it comes to combining it with overhaul and rewind. Imagine you already have your unlimited disposable minions. But you know what's even better? Unlimited disposable minions with chainsaw arms. So you use creation to make chainsaws and overhaul to attach them to your disposable minions. run out of fat? rewind kicks in and restores you to a full supply. Just... don't run out of rewind. Rewind, overhaul and creation are the perfect combination for any lunatic with a god complex.

5.- Dupli arms: A quirk that doesn't stand out too much on its own and with good reason.... But in the hands of a villain it could do wonders. I am assuming that each arm can be used as a conduit for more quirks though. With this you'd get extended reach for any quirk which requires contact and even to extend creation from. Also.... imagine the combination of this and creation. Coming at your enemy with 40 arms and each one wielding a chainsaw. And you could add a little overhaul in there and those could be 40 chainsaw arms. Or you could also fuse your unlimited arms with overhaul to make a single gigantic arm....

6.- Muscle augmentation: A pretty damn strong quirk that grants the user near allmight levels of strength. Combine it with dupli arms and you have a monstrous combination of potentially unlimited strength. Which you can supplement with chainsaw arms.

7.- Steel: Basically a quirk to further combine with muscle augmentation and dupli arms. On your path to godhood it doesn't hurt to be nigh invulnerable by making your unlimited muscles and arms be made out of literal steel. An otherwise not particularly outstanding quirk but combined with the ones I mentioned it's actually insane.

8.- Flight: For all the reasons.

9.- Erasure: This one is a bit gratuitous considering by now you really have gone a long way into your path of villainness godhood. But in turn it would really help sell the point that you are indeed godlike if you can stare your subjects into submission. Leaving them easy prey for your wealth of options to trash him via unlimited steel chainsaw arms or just... dunno, fuse him to a big mac. You might think this quirk has a limit but.... Nothing dupli arms can't solve. Unlimited eyes to look at your subjects from. Provided you don't blink all of them at the same time.

10.- Anivoice: This one is also gratuitous by this point but it's can also help sell the god thing. Say you are already looking down on your measly enemies but you are bored of fusing them to junk food.... Easy, just call down a swarm of rats to take them on. Watch highly trained professional hero enemies meet their demise against vermin. And if that gets boring... just use overhaul to fuse all of the rats together into a gigantic rat to further the point. Which is.... dunno, the futility of everything? At least that is what its going to come to heroes minds when they helplessly fight gigantic disease infested rats..... over and over again as you constantly rewind them after being defeated.

You’re completely right on creation and that’s why I chose it too. Creation is one of the best quirks in the manga. So much so that Horikoshi gave it to Momo because he thought it was an overpowered ability and would be more interesting on an inexperienced character rather than a pro hero.

It’s such an underrated quirk because it’s not as flashy as the others and Momo uses it in the most boring ways.
