Omg ive got a soundtrack for the day.

Pokémon Theme was the only English one I considered and the very last one I bumped off my list. It still gives me goosebumps at times, and that singer just puts his whole soul into the song man. Still, one more point from me wouldn’t have made a big difference anyway.

That German One Piece opening wasn’t too bad @GrySun.

Gotta say... that German One Piece opening I did not like. But I bet there’s lots of nostalgia involved as well.

Definitely nostalgia. It helps that it‘s partially also the ending theme of every german OP episode And as an ending soundtrack it‘s pretty damn good. So makes it very memorable.

True that, I have no clue how this even sounds to non german people The lyrics aren‘t as bad as they usually are for such german openings, but overall song is very nice for me. + lots of nostalgia. Watching OP on TV as a kid was actual torture. At the end of every arc they‘d repeat everything again from the beginning So you rewatch it all, maybe also see some eps you missed the first time around because of school, then when new eps should happen it restarts it all again...
Sometimes you‘re lucky and you get new episodes and arcs. This OP played for a lot of episodes and arcs, and seeing it first time as new episodes came... felt very good.

I wonder if „Die Reise beginnt“, the 5th german op that came after this one, is more your taste? A close second for me to this one.
