I think it'll be completely fine. If it's a good adaptation, and is on Crunchyroll/Funimation, i can't see people not watching it just because other popular series are airing. They'll probably just add it to their watchlist if word spreads that it's good

In the west, its not like people will watch only one show. Word of mouth will help Yaiba here, plus the fanbase in the west is growing too. KnY doesnt have a lot to worry about tbh.

Yeah, it definitely doesnt feel as unknown as it was like a year ago. The volume releases and word of mouth is helping. Its growing slowly.

Not in Japan where it is the main thing for the success of those series (Or even here, c'mon). Getting popularity here is fine but popularity on the west don't equal to a anime getting money for many reasons.

TPN fanbase in the west is as big as Kimetsu's.

Nah, even as a Kimetsu fan I know that's not true. Neverland gets higher traction on both r/manga and /a/, has more discord members, and actually has an official weekly release with Viz.

KnY's popularity isnt as popular as TPN is in the west but point is that KnY is pretty popular and growing with every volume release. Once we get the spider family arc (volumes 4 & 5) here in the west then it'll grow even more in popularity.

The english releases of volume 4 & 5 is released close to the anime. Volume 4 is released in Jan 2019 and volume 5 is March 2019. The fans should worry more about how Ufotable handles Kimetsu's production and the staff reveal. MHA/OPM/AoT should be the least of our worries.

Are people buying TPN though? I've noticed my local bookstore has stopped stocking it all together (which is pretty rare for them if they start a series to not at least get the newer volumes) and the local Chapters takes forever to get it in. I know it's not a Viz issue since both are getting in other stuff like Kaguya, Demon Slayer, Food Wars and Kamuy in fine, hell even Astra which I really doubt is more popular than TPN. It could just be people in my city don't like it for some reason though.
