At least 3, maybe 4. They need to fill in for World Trigger, ComiQ, Alice & Taiyou and Tanaka. I was expecting them to save the new series until 2019, tho.

two or three. Four seems excessive.

I expect 2, since they often leave a space open for extra oneshots at this time of year.

Is there a possibility that we could finally see the forgotten Kishimoto's Sci-FI manga in this new series batch? :teehee

am 1000% sure if one of the greatest storytelling masterminds in all of existence was coming back to Weekly Shonen Jump, that you could bet your bottom dollar that the magazine would be hyping it up for weeks in advance.

They will probably say something to the Jump Festa.

Shoseki Rankings (12/11-18/11)
14. The Promised Neverland #11
19. Black Clover #18
50. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba #13
112. Act-age #4

I'd like to add the following extra data:
159. Act-Age #3
166. Act-Age #2
169. Act-Age #1

Judging by those numbers, it looks like a lot of people who weren't already reading Act-Age must've decided to purchase all of the available volumes at once

Doesnt appear Act Age is following the Kimetsu trajectory, though I dont know if anyone would want to see that as Kimetsu continues to fall off the charts pretty fast, losing the fastest selling race, but that doesnt really matter at the end of the day.

Shaman King continues to have very loyal followers, all those volumes

I agree. If Kishimoto was coming back, WSJ would advertise it so much that we'd be sick of the series before it even starts running.

This is really surprise me. despite the highly popular Yamato 2199/2202 and the still don't make enough money.
I wonder what happens with IP they hold, in terms of WSJ, they hold Shaman King, Busou Renkin, To Love Ru and Yuuna.
They technically don't own those properties they were contracted to animate them so what rights they still have for them would go directly to the distributor. But I doubt anyone would care about any of those titles at this point.

I think most companies are big enough that one popular series probably isnt enough to wipe years of debt away, and based on the credits and how many other studios we see doing in betweens etc, clearly some of the debt had to go to paying those folks as well

Idk much about Kimetsu, but Act-Age is certainly showing signs of growth nonetheless. This past week, I'd say that the previous 3 volumes of Act-Age probably sold at least another 5,000 copies each according to Shoseki estimates. It looks like a lot of people purchased all of the volumes at once

Fafner , buddyfight and FMP would be more interested to sunrise than Busou Renkin(which no one will touch).

So, how many new series y’all expecting?
Maybe 2 or 3 by rookies , I would do 2 and wait a month to release a 1 manga round with a series by Kishimoto/shimabakuru/Matsui.

I expect 4 new series
Alice and taiyou ended ( ), world trigger will be transferred, Hxh and tanaka. So it should be four
As i said many post before, I hope for kishimoto or akira Amano to come back.
And I want a manga like hungry joker about science (not like Dr. Stone)
I wish a manga like St&rs about space, and a manga about literature or poetry( I guess it never happened) and another one about skating on ice ...
I think it would be perfect if at least one of them truly happened
(I'm fed up of horror, romcom and gag manga)
