I still believe in 1 million x volume (I'm the only one who sees it possible that I can reach the first place in Oricon ( with 3 Volúmen of OP ) ? Or second place ).

Every time I look at Jujutsu, I'm reminded of Bleach.

it's being scanlated which makes it more accessible, just another manga that uses harems and fetishes as a hook
in only 11 chapters the mangaka has already introduced 2 female characters with bro-con fetish
it has the same fanbase that finds Yuuna's """comedy""" funny
Oh, so the basis of the jokes don't change then? Guess it won't be for me then.

If Saint Seiya didn't work as a CG film, it's not going to work as a live-action film. The story always rushes to the 12 Houses because that's what people want to see, but in doing that it basically cuts all of the character development and set-up and ends up as a rushed mess.

Maybe hoping for that Zombieland Saga style surprise reveal and get people talking on Twitter? The only reason that worked is because it was anime original and they purposely made pre-release marketing vague and confusing. TPN is a widely successful manga so I doubt many people will be checking out the anime with no idea what it's about.

i just fear not showing the monsters means they might appear to be CGI Atrocities, only reason to not show that part at this point in time :(

Or they really simply don't want to overly spoil the first impression an anime only person would have with the first episode shrug

That must be the reason and what i've been thinking since they revealed the first visual with Krone and Isabella looking friendly so they don't spoil the fact that they're antagonists, btw here's Krone's design

Alice and Taiyo's mangaka Totsuno tweeted about his feelings before and after serialization:

The basic gist of the comic here is that at the serialization meetings to decide new series, a mangaka needs to produce names for a considerable amount of chapters, around 100 pages worth. To do so, quite an amount of time and energy is needed. He basically turned down other work to do this. If his names are turned down, of course, he gets no money. He succeeded with Alice and Taiyo on his 5th try.

As we know, he was later informed that his series would end. He says that he didn't have time to ask the reason and put his all in the remaining chapters for the sake of his readers, and himself but he was frustrated that his series ended as he was unable to fully draw out his characters lives and more of the story even though he had a lot more he wanted to do. Despite all those regrets, he ends his comic saying that despite everything he still wants to draw manga.

Then he follows it up with this:

The first page is basically "AS IF!". He then starts joking saying " I'm going to sleep!, I'm going to watch movies and read books and play games and drink and go on vacations!" He then reads over his manga and thinks to himself how interesting it is and decides to continue drawing manga. The last page is him thanking his fans ans asking them to look forward to his next work and advertising the volumes of Alice and Taiyo.

^Wow that's incredibly cynical. :teehee

I always wonder if mangaka ever get a final "take that" for their final chapter whenever a series gets canned? It feels like always try to be as polite as possible but it does suck having what you work so long for get canned like nothing and then forgetten. The only mangaka I knew that went that route when his series kept getting canned was Yasuhiro Kano who after his most succssful work Mx0 got the boot he kept making series that get canned until he broke the 4th wall and unceremoniously pre-ended one his series before Jump did only to just say fuck it and abandon it entirely. He's finally found some successful with Jump Plus now and is probably too scared to go back to WSJ.

Weekly Shounen Hachi over in Champion gets cancelled next issue and had its second last chapter be a bunch of meta commentary about how rankings are cruel, though it's about a manga school so it's in a special situation to do that.

In this magazine, Stealth Symphony's ending definitely felt like a rage quit to me.

When the bully is twice as popular as your main character, you know you're doing something wrong.
It's not really rare or "wrong" for that to happen.

Look at Gon & Killua's gap in popularity with the first poll lol. Hikaru has a even bigger gap. Both are much larger than the MHA case.

So far: HxH, WT, MHA, Medaka Box, Food wars, Naruto & Hikaru no go are series where the main lead isnt #1. I'm pretty sure with Kinnikuman, Robin Mask was like #1 in one of the polls.
