Perhaps I didn't word it properly but I was mainly considering the type of character being twice as popular as the MC. Bakugo has been an awful person to Deku for the majority of his life so seeing someone like him at the top for me is equivalent to Mizuki being more popular the Naruto.

The first spinoff manga is titled Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Dōjin-ban(Kaguya-sama: Love is War - Dōjin Edition) by Shinta Sakayama.

of course ANN could be wrong but they called it that before Jaimini did. I guess it's not "official" but they're still calling something the original publisher is publishing a doujin

The official title of the Kaguya spinoff is "doujin edition," that's the entire joke. "Ero spinoff" was just a description.

Seems that preview page comments the 3 new titles as: ''Together they're called "The Dark Hero Era". All three are dark action manga.". Would need confirmation at all.

Lucky for these 3 series, Ziga really set a new low for my enjoyment of Jump series, so I'll be impressed if one of these manages to annoy me even worse. It seems like they're just throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks. Seems like the EiC really wants another edgy action series, so they're releasing 3 of them at once and hoping 1 sticks. This seems like a larger scale of what they just did with the new gag comedies.

He is, or he is the first of many main characters, at least I think most readers see it that way. And he has always been 1st place in the polls I think, expect maybe the first one if you count out multiple votes.

-Chainsaw Man will survive for now, it will be middle ranking
-ne0;lation is going to be the success of this round; survive and be as popular as Jujutsu is now (which is still below Dr.Stone)
-Gokutei Higuma is going to taste the first axe of 2019

I'm guessing they'll all be axed, dark fantasy doesn't have a great track record in recent years. Sure there's Jujustsu Kaisen and Promised Neverland, but don't forget Ziga, Ibitsu no Amalgam, Demon's Plan, Bozebeats and Red Sprite. I really doubt any of them will last longer than 50 chapters at most.

Well, isn't one of them yet another flop Giga mini-series? I can't imagine whichever one that is surviving, if nobody cared about it when it had a set story and clear plot in mind they won't care now.
