Book-rank has it listed with 1,296,619
Thanks.

I guess I will assume s3 and the movie didnt really get that many new people to get into the series.
do ppl still think TPN is surpassing MHA in sales.
in what measure? tpn will end before heroaca, so total sales is definitely not going to happen.

I think its too early to say for any other measure. What if we get another Magi, where the first season inspires sales but the run of the mill second season causes sales to drop like a brick in the water.

How may of the volumes has sold 1 million or more by book-ranks estimate?
Book rank has volumes 1-11 past 1 million with 12-14 in the 900k range and everything else but vol 19 and 20 in the 800k range. Book rank also posted their yearly manga sales by volume chart:
https://book-rank.net/report/archives/333

It covers the same period as Oricon so we can see how accurate book-rank is once the oricon volume chart comes out.
Thanks.

Well according to book-rank, volumes 1-2 did over 200k in this period so I'd say a considerable amount of people did come in. Whether all this means boosted sales going forward remains to be seen until vol 21 comes out.

do ppl still think TPN is surpassing MHA in sales. Literally everyone was saying it was probably gonna happen on here.
I honestly think it will, because despite the great sales, Neverland for some reason still seems quite unknown.

Uh definitely not unknown with how much promotion Jump has given it.

Next year we will see who is right.

My bet is that it will surpass MHA.

I dont understand what conclusion you can make if TPN sells more than HeroAca in 2019. 5 yr old series thats in its 4th year, probably off peak vs 1st year of a series having its anime. Its like the people who are somehow making conclusions about Haikyuu vs HeroAca proclaiming heroaca is bigger, when considering the circumstances it seems more dissapointing that HeroAca with all it has going for it, is only 2 positions higher than a series with no anime in 3 years...whats up with that., doesnt seem like heroaca is making its potential.

I see 0% chance of that actually happening lol
It's a low chance but I wouldn't say 0%. I don't mean it surpassing MHA in 1 season, I mean in the long run.

position,

1,2 locked.

moderately confident with TPN at 8. (could move)

9 and below is uncertain if they could even make it (wild cards and the unexpected)

everything else is too close to say confidently about their positions.

if you want to say about actual accuracy, the results should be in a few weeks.

about the number, read the thread. (wip) :derp

Stressing that this is just MY personal predictions/calculations/estimates
I hope you're right in SD being #3.

Oh I disagree. Neverland has had more pre-anime exposure than any manga that's ran in Jump and that's saying a lot. Jump has spent the last two years basically soliciting to the most popular programs to cover it and its award spree this year has gotten everyone who was going to read it to do so. There's also the fact that its airing on noitamina to which of its over 10 years of broadcast only two manga has gotten any sort of boost from airing on the block. It'll get a boost but it won't be particularly notable. Kimetsu on the other hand will get a bigger boost just for the fact that its gotten less exposure in comparison.

The comparison must be made vs the best year of X series.

I can see TPN passing HeroAca in the yearly sale next year especially if the anime kills it. That being said, total sales is debatable since I think we are at the final arc of TPN and I can't see it going beyond 20 volumes, while MHA might go pass 30 even 40 volumes...

Eh. It's a possibility. If TPN volumes manage to touch 700-800k before going out of weekly lists within the first year of the anime, I'd call it a bigger success than MHA.
But yeah, @ChocoBar9 is right. Kimetsu has a bigger opportunity to grow solely because it's exposure was more limited. A well done anime can do it wonders.

My guesses;
TPN peak would be 900k-1million
Kimetsu would be 400-500k

realistic number is Kimetsu reaches 300,000 and stay there, and TPN reaches 700,000+ and stay there
^ right now KNY drops off of Oricon around ~150,000, and TPN around ~450,000
