Wtf Sharkbait, Boku no Hero its in the peak right now, saleswise at least.
Realistic number is Kimetsu barely reaches above 200k. Kimetsu is doing the same numbers Black Clover did before it's anime and Black Clover's boost is somewhere in the range of 30k to 50k. Yuuna didn't get a noticeable boost at all with it's anime. Hinomaru doesn't seem to get any boost either.realistic number is Kimetsu reaches 300,000 and stay there, and TPN reaches 700,000+ and stay there
^ right now KNY drops off of Oricon around ~150,000, and TPN around ~450,000

Why some of you think Kimetsu can double or even triple it's numbers is beyond me. What could Kimetsu's anime do so special that 150k or even 300k people who didn't care about it suddenly have the urge to buy and read it?

Because it has something Black Clover, Hinomaru and Yuuna never had and that's online recognition particularly in Japan. Black Clover was panned before the anime came about and nobody really cared about in fact the anime might have helped its reputation a bit and brought in new buyers but it was a pathetic boost for something that has been pushed as long as it, nobody really cared about Yuuna or Hinomaru (unfortunately) but Kimetsu already has a significant following as it is right not, its not big but the fact that there's doujin circles and special events for it before the first trailer has been released says a lot about how anticpated it is. And manga tripling its numbers has been done MANY times before this decade and the anime doesn't have to be good (Tokyo Ghoul) you just need a hook Kimetsu has a hook that all those titles you mentioned didn't have. At that same token I can just be talking out my ass and Kimetsu will not have a boost that big and all its pre-hype will be for naught but I've seen this happen too many times and I have a feeling that Kimetsu will get a big boostRealistic number is Kimetsu barely reaches above 200k. Nobody cares about Dr. Stone man. The fact that the Jujutsu PR campaign announcement had more people talking than the Dr. Stone anime announcement says a lot about its online presence. Its only hope is to secure a timeslot next to One Piece where most kids will be watching to get some sort of attention. You have been speaking mainly about TPN and Kimetsu sales, but the fact is that the most hyped series together with TPN over the entire last year has been Dr.Stone. Still, Dr.Stone sales were lower than BokuBen if I recall, but last time I saw Dr.Stone sale numbers was like at beginning of the year.
Also, Dr.Stone is the only series where we don't think any total number sales. So, how is in reality Dr.Stone doing? Is it choking? Is it being the great recent hit together TPN like Shueisha likes to tell us?

Yep the fact that they're actually trying with it shows that they do want it to succeed.Fujos, Ufotable
Kimetsu has a big potential. But the art and the start are so bad that they make people not care much about it. But if Ufotable can catch more fujo's attention, it will bloom. It seems Ufotable invest much money in Kimetsu.
The art and the beginning are good actually, if that weren't the case Kimetsu probably would have not been around right now.Fujos, Ufotable

I really liked the atmosphere from the early art, something that seems to have gradually changed the more the story goes (which isn't a bad thing at all). The art and the beginning are good actually, if that weren't the case Kimetsu probably would have not been around right now.
Yey it's on my birthday then
wait, 28th Dec?
Great story/setting, an actual decent studio unlike BC?Realistic number is Kimetsu barely reaches above 200k. I'll never understand the issue people have with Kimetsu's art. It's unique, detailed when it comes to character details and great to look at. I'm glad it doesn't look like every other generic manga out there.Kimetsu has a big potential. But the art and the start are so bad that they make people not care much about it.
unfortunately I dont think people care that much about studio, or if "fujos" or other groups of avid anime fans care for that matter, Using Sword Boys, it is clear more were moved and flocked towards Doga Koba's Touken Ranbu Hanamaru over Ufotables Token Ranbu Katsugeki. Perhaps fans may flock to Ufotables movie for it, but it is still clear Hanamaru is what people preferred.Fujos, Ufotable
