I just finished it as well. I feel like it's the most easily adaptable to anime of all the singularities so I'm pretty optimistic about the anime's chances. A nice mix of humor and serious moments and packed with likable characters. And most importantly it has the crucial aspect of anime good anime...waifu's galore. Eresh and Ishtar are both pretty strong"best girl" candidates. Coatl too was pretty great with her oneesan vibes. Gorgon was solid too in her own way. And Taiga was hilarious.

Also appreciated that it was challenging without being quite as sadistic as Camelot was. It was a nice balance.

Overall, I'd say this was my new favorite Singularity. You can really tell that they were getting used to writing an effective story in this format around Camelot and to me Babylon felt like a refinement of that. I'm not sure the high points were quite as high as Camelots but it was a lot more solid and well paced.

Also finally got my first bond 10. Raikou is going to destroy Solomon.

I think the difficult was better paced tban Solomon, but the final boss was very dissapoiting. The survival battles were harder.

I did bond 10 my raikou too.
I have Cu, Tama, Iskandar and Raikou as my bond 10.
Sadly Ozy wont make it on time for solomon.


ALSO PEOPLE IN OTHER SERVERS THERE WAS A "Gain 30 Quartz if you clear Babylonia before the final singularity".
While it has not been confirmed that the same will happen in our server, its better to be safe than sorry
Lore wise, the final singularity should drop at the end of this month

Cleared all the clear quests, no new servants, but hey, at least I got demonic bodhishavata

It wasn't that hard but I honestly wasn't disappointed by that because they were built in such a way were they would have been harder if not for some wrinkle. So it felt very satisfying.

Like the final few battles would have been extremely hard if not for the fact that Merlin and Eresh give your team huge buffs. And I mean, you and I might have been able to manage it but there are a lot of FGO players out there without the S teir servant options we have. So I feel like it's a lot more beatable by players without a big selection of 5 stars servant to pick from.. And I think that's important.

It also helped that everybody gets really powerful story support servants whenever they need them. Which adds to the story impact of the fights even if it takes away some of the challenge.

I'm waiting for the 2nd Babylon Banner. Hoping for Gorgon.

I was looking ahead to see if there is anything I should be saving my quartz and tickets for but there isn't for my tastes. We've got Musashi coming up but I'm not too interested in her. Then we've got a banner for the limited servants (assuming that isn't just the Thanksgiving one we already had). Then we've got MHX Alter(along with a Sanzang on rate up) in February. After that it's pretty much it until the BB event in May with all the Alter Egos.

Like when I got spooked by ugly Vlad I was just like. This makes sense. The scales are balancing them out for the Ishtar thing. I deserve this. But then comes the servant I want most. Out of nowhere.

Sure I didn't get Gorgon but would have picked Sanzang over both Gorgon AND Coatl.

I did the same with 81 odd quartz and 8 tickets, ended up with Saberlot and Tamacat and a Quetz. All I wanted was Gorgon Still have 30 left for Shishou, add in the 30 from finishing babylonia before solomon and the free quest quartz and it's not too bad before buying quartz haha

The boobyserpent is an illusive quarry. And congrats on Coatl, Sammy. Her final ascension artwork looks so good. Also she's a great servant.

It's funny how all that box grinding we did and now... our QP... where did it all go?

Good thing Solomon is going to drop lots of materials at high drop rates because, sweet lord, are we going to need them. Not that I'm complaining it's great to have awesome units to skill level. But boy do these 5 stars burn through the materials.

In case anybody isn't aware what you and I are referring too her AOE debuff skill makes her the MVP of Solomon because the front row will receive debuffs on the first turn and she is the only servant that can remove all of them with a skill on the first turn. Finished Babylonia today, just in the nick of time. It was good and had a bunch of likeable and interesting chars, but for me it took a bit too long to get going. Prolly my 2nd favorite Singularity bc of the endgame stuff, but otherwise I thought Camelot was better in almost every aspect. Could also be my slight bias towards Knights of the Round Table legends, I really like them. I could really see Babylonia giving a better experience with the anime though, that could add a lot.

Wanted Gorgon and actually got her, but now I can't fully ascend her bc of that new rare item I lack... A bit annoyed that I rolled for CasGil and didn't get him, Gilgamesh really gives me the cold shoulder no matter which version xD

Kinda hard, but I think Eresh. I like the more serious and kind Rin over the tsundere aspect (never been a big fan of that archetype), so even though I like both I think Eresh is better.

Haha I feel you, personally I don't really mind if it's a female or a male, as long as the character is interesting (and likeable). So that aspect didn't really matter to me that much, but I agree that Babylonia has a higher waifu rate xD (Lancer Artoria though... :3).
Otherwise I agree with you, Camelot had the better story. Think part of the reason why I prefer it, is that the joke characters didn't really work for me. Jaguar Man especially, but also Coatl to some extent, didn't click with me and I thought they sort of clashed with the mood and setting at times. Which probably was part of the point, but to me it felt weird and sometimes out of place.

The stuff I was more invested in, like the whole Ana/Gorgon thing, sort of ended up being pretty short and underutilized. Tiamat also got the short stick, like only of you read the Databook you understand that she actually restrained herself. It wasn't a seal from outside, but her contrary wish to not hurt her own children that made her shackle herself (thanks to which she lost a really high amount of power and became beatable for our heroes). On the one hand, instinct tells her to eradicate humanity bc they naturally reject her, on the other hand she doesn't want to hurt them because they're her precious children. A pretty tragic character right there, think that's something they could sort of add in the anime perhaps.
But besides all my rambling it was still a really enjoyable Singularity

As for Gorgon, yes she does It's why I just had to roll for her. Also helped that I already know her backstory from Fate/Hollow Ataraxia. There's a few stories in there about the three snake sisters and how Medusa ended up as Gorgon, killing her own sisters... was pretty chilling in the VN when you didn't know about her story beforehand. So her concept was actually made long long ago, though she had no clear design at the time:

Anyway, long story short I'm pretty happy about getting her. Luckily it looks like the Solomon Singularity has that rare material I need, so might try to farm there.

I stand firmly in the Istar faction. She feels more like a Rin to me. Proud and clumsy in a super cute way.

Yeah I figured you do. No problem with that, Ishtar is a great char too

True, they did, but it didn't become clear that she kept doing so even after they destroyed her pseudo-brain. It's also an actual skill that actively hurts her and makes her way way weaker. Hard to deduce any of that from what little Merlin tells you, that's why I said I wouldn't mind if they fleshed her out just a little bit more in the anime. Less of a complaint and more of a wish, a more complex opponent always makes for a better one.
Sort of a shame they didn't mention anything about Siduri again either, I guess they left it vague on purpose. Pretty dark stuff, but I like that, so more of that would've been nice too.

I won´t spend money on Merlin since I am saving a bit for the probable Guaranted Gacha (plus while double merlin is easy mode, having just one as a suport is amazing already).
