Discussion Art Contest Schedule and Theme Suggestion Thread

I want your opinions on something else as well, guys.
What categories we could run as tests in 2018?
Videos, animations, acting, music writing, music recording - covers, dance, sculptures, ceramics, sewing, other handcrafting fields, canvas painting, fashion, decoration, mosaics, engraving/carving...
Really, whatever you believe that would be nice to be explored here, that others would enjoy as well.
I've been missing some musical experiments, for example xD

Actually it's Macro instead of Marco.

"Micro and Macro" could be an interesting theme to consider.

Opposite ends of the scale. Similar to big and small but contestants could see it in a different light.

More suitable for Photography, Sets and Drawing contests.

I just read this article and thought of another idea: write a terrible opening sentence for a story. Maybe an art mod can suggest a genre so the participants can write the opening.

I'm behind this. It's a really open category too. Perhaps a Freestyle contest?

All this team contest gave me idea on Valentine. Instead of having 3 or 4 members in a team, we have 2 members (one must be male and the other must be female) in a team. The winning couple will be awarded couple badge as well. Though I still don't know when we can do this since Valentine is not seasonal contest, and what the theme/category will be.

Perhaps creating your own pick-up line?

Maybe the Valentines day contest would occur during Spring Contest

Pick up line is good, but I also suggest a letter that describes your relationship with that person. Doesn't have to be love: it can be pure friends \o/

Kind of like having couples compete with other couples thats pretty cute tbh.

I have an idea for a writing contest. Dr. Suess’s classic, Green Eggs and Ham, was written based on a bet he had with a friend, who wagered that Dr. Suess couldn’t write a children book using only 50 certain words.

So why don’t we try to do the same? Write a story using certain words (the mods can decide what words to use).
