Good lord, I just saw the skill ascension material requirements for Gorgon.

What have we gotten ourselves into? I mean, I'm still thrilled to have her but she's definitely not a cheap date. I feel like, at least in terms of materials, she's more expensive than Jalter.

Barbatos down. I got in like 55-ish punches to his tentacle-y nether regions.

Not nearly enough for my ascension material needs but every bit helps. Ended up with like 10-ish hearts, 60mil QP, and 34 pages.

Congrats your dick wizard. I'm sure I'll be using him as support quite often.

One of my supports has him up to 90 with his 3rd skill at 10 already. So I can attest, first hand, that he is the best servant in the game. At least from a damage buffing standpoint. He allowed my 5 bond Sanzang to hit 350k damage on her NP with the other buffs active. (Normally hit for around 270).

And about Avengers. As somebody that both Jalter and Raikou. Maybe controversial option but in most situations I think Raikou is better. The lack of class advantage for Avengers hurts them pretty bad. Her HP is so low that they have about the same survivablity.

And about his capabilities as a servant, I cant help but wonder about the dmg output of Double Merlin on Raikou with the righf CEs...

I did my roll, got merlin in 33sq. So had more 300 left decided to go coatl banner used 100 quartz got gorgon. Happy for snek waifu.
I maxed merlin as soon as got him with max skills. Boi barbatos went down quick. This week is good for grinding. My setup for all quest is jalter + merlin + merlin/waver (supp). Martha is most useful right now with her remove buff and debuff skill. And she is gonna max after 15 months of usage. I'm gonna gring the demon with archer class. Gonna use tamamo summer for first few times cos i didn't used her from summer. Scat was always better.

The luck you guys have is just out of this world... it's honestly depressing if you spend money but then you see people don't spending even a single cent and getting 5* after 5* after 4*

Well only did two 10 rolls for Merlin and 2 tickets but ofc didn't get him and I've resigned to mostly E- luck for me, so I've accepted that I hardly will get any 5* from this point on. I think I've reached a state where no Servant will make me spend a lot of money anymore lol, the rates are so shit and it's honestly not worth the money if you aren't rich or something xD And before you're wondering, I didn't spend money for Merlin, it's just something I've decided on doing after spending too much money to get Jalter haha.

But yes Jammin, Gorgon is quite expensive. Not trying to level her skills yet though, that's for later bc I always prefer to save some mats. Ofc I was busy with work and hanging out with friends yesterday, so I hardly could farm Barbatos Could kill him like 15 times or so, but there are enough other Demon Gods left to farm anyway, so it's okay : D

FGO is not a good use of money. It's just not. That said I'll be buying an $80 quartz pack during the lucky bag summon just because I strangely feel like I owe this game a little something for all this luck.

Haha yeah that's true. Personally I don't mind spending money on a phone game, simply bc you spend so much time with it and people buy games they've finished in a week for 50€ or more too. So I don't really get the "I would never spend money on a phone game" mentality, it's always about spending responsibly. Which ofc isn't so easy with a gacha game, at least for many people

And yes, Summer looks amazing. You prolly look forward to other things than me (for me it's Caster Nero and most importantly, Saber Alter Maid ) though. Previously I was willing to spend a bit more money but after accepting my shit luck I'm just not going to go there. Spending like 100€ and getting nothing just feels extremely bad, even worse if it's more. 20 or 30 bucks I don't really mind though, if it's something you really want. I obviously will continue to spend money at times for FGO, but you have to accept when it's not working early on, instead of thinking "Just one more"

Yeah, it's also a lot more satisfying to pull something on a free ticket or quartz versus a paid roll at least for me.

With a paid one I feel like I need to get something. With a free one you can just kind of be happy with whatever you happen to get. There is no sense of pressure on it.

I haven't spend a single cent in the game not even for GSSR banners which I really want to do but can't afford to spend 60$ on game. But I'll accept that i have decent luck playing game. I got around 6 SSR this year. 2 of them were planned (merlin and jalter) rest are spook and I didn't wanted most of them. If u want more SSR then my advice would be to use tickets on most limited event banner and don't go below 200SQ and min 150SQ. save that amount for your waifu.
I'll be taking break after this event and will directly roll for summer because no other banner interest me. till then I'll probably have 600 SQ. BTW I'm bulling the beserker raid Its easy and could be done in one hit. even I couldn't grind Barbatos, did around 35 quest went to sleep then woke up to find him dead.
To me the one who is most lucky in term of getting SSR in order is @Kato756 then @Nii then idk probably not Jammin ,sorry lol

It comes and goes. In the last 150 or so tries though I've netted myself Jalter, Ishtar, Sanzang, Gorgon, and Helena.

Which is pretty absurd probability-wise. Especially considering all of those were targeted servants for me.

How is the pillar bullying going for everybody?

I've been hitting them pretty hard. Switched from the NP rush teams with Sanzang like I was using for Barbatos to a Raikou or Jalter crit team. It's made me really appreciate Helena's versatility. 3 turn Arts, Buster, Quick buff, 3 turn star gain on a skill (great when combined with 2030), and an team NP charge. She's not the strongest servant but she's got everything I could want for this kind of battle. Combined with a dick wizard or waiver she can really help get the job done in 1-3 turns; depending on how lucky you are with buster cards.

Also I feel like an underrated part of this pillar exterminating is the QP were getting. In 1-3 turn fights I'm getting more than I do running doors and, it seems like, more than I did grinding presents. Not sure if it's more AP efficient but it's definitely more time efficient. It's nice to build up a nest egg again.

Probably going to farm Sabock from now on for the black stone thingys.

I'm farming beserker quest since I could take him out in one turn. It was most underratted one but the drop rate is impressive

Think it was in August when I put the game on hold after I got quite annoyed with my pulls which also included 5 Multirolls in a row with not a single new card (no new Servant, no new CE, mind you) + approx. 50 Tickets which barely gave me anything noteworthy. Then there was the paid Gacha shortly before or after said Multirolls and I got my hands on freaking Arjuna (you can guess that I couldn't care less about him as a Gilgamesh owner). As a result, I put the game on pause which was a very good decision in my opinion. I gave the game another chance during the Santa Jalter event, since I had a lot of free time in December. Used +20 Tickets for Caster Gil and Enkidu, but didn't get either of them. Which is okay, can't expect much with 20 Tickets. Funny thing is that I got my first Limited Zero Over, finally. I laugh because I consider this card pretty much useless now, since there are many CEs with far better utility today. Anyway, I put my hopes on the Merlin Banner. Used my +20 Tickets, got nothing. Made 4 Multirolls, 2 of them gave me no new cards (lel), one gave me only a new useless CE, the other Multiroll turned a silver Caster card into a gold one... and it was a book... . But hey, I also got my third Siegfried, so that's something? He has a NP Lv. of 3!!!!

Welp, my motivation to play this game hit rock bottom again. I still play Solomon, but prolly will drop this game again once my vacation is over. I just can't get any pleasure from the game. The last Servant which joined my team and made me jump for joy was Jalter. And this was in April...

Even if the RNG goddess is testing your resolve, as mine was tested when I burned through all my tickets(50ish) and 200 quartz rolling for Jalter and came away with a Frankenstein dupe and Stheno, in a few short months something glorious is coming your way. Yeah, RNG can be a huge bitch. But that's gacha for you. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. I had extreme luck in the past, pulling Gil from a ticket, pulling Jalter after (only) 5 Multirolls I think or getting that one Servant that I wanted from the first paid gache (Okita).

in a few short months something glorious is coming your way. And it's not RNG.

LOL! I can feel your pain. As I said, Limited Zero Over has rejected me ever since and now I can't find any use for it. Kscope is still a very useful CE in my opinion, which means you have it far worse than me.

Correct. That's how your Jalter can look after Shinjuku if you want her to. (And you should want her to)

As for that 500+ Quartz I highly suggest taking a look at the next summer event and the servants coming with that. Because it's... amazing.

Nero Caster, Salter in a goth maid outfit riding a black motorcycle, Raikou in a variety of pervy outfits, Nitocris, Nobunaga, the list goes on... This is all on top of a free Ishtar. And the best part is they are all great servants. Maid Alter has a targetable 1 turn skill cooldown on a skill! And Nero Caster is quite possibly an even better servant than she is. An AOE damage laser apocalypse with 80% worth of attack buffs for 3 turns and a 50% NP charge skill AND a 20% NP buff and invincibility pierce baked into her noble phantasm.

So there will be a lot of this...

And Raikou Lancer is almost as crazy as they are in terms of ability. She's got a 40% mana burst that's targetable and clears debuffs AND the same crit buff Jalter has yet is only a 4 star.
