Don't shoot down the man's hopes! lolSo I read the first chapter of Double Taisei...
...What the hell was that? That was bizarre, and not exactly in a good way. Still, the chances of it not being axe fodder are practically invisible.
...Okay, now I feel a bit bad.Don't shoot down the man's hopes! lol

Good point, guess we will see. Chapter 2 will be crucial for this manga imo.My personal issue with Double Taisei (and the one I think will screw it over) is simply a matter of escalation. I mean, Tai is already being considered a super-prodigy, and Sei is apparently even better than him. Where's the conflict then? What mountain do they have to overcome? At best, they can include even better shogi players, but that sort of thing would just make the series comical in its levels of power escalation.
And that's why sport manga is problematic, this whole mountain issue and challenges to be overcome we find in virtually every manga of that type.My personal issue with Double Taisei (and the one I think will screw it over) is simply a matter of escalation. can not be the announcement of the second season of the anime?https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/da...-has-important-announcement-on-may-27/.146886
Anyone can verify if this is true, or is it just the Saikyo Jump thing?
There is more to life than just playing. So while there will be drama from that aspect, there's sure to be drama from others as well.My personal issue with Double Taisei (and the one I think will screw it over) is simply a matter of escalation.
