Bam beating kallavan already at this point in his climb makes no sense, that why jinsung would have to be at floor 75 to 80, the multipliers and reservoir ain't enough.
Nobody's going to sit around and wait for Baam to climb another two dozen floors so that he can participate in the operation. Karaka and Yama would go and do the thing without him instead, and that isn't happening.

And that particular cluster of floors is almost certainly being held in reserve for an arc centering on Wingtree HQ at 77F anyway.

If paul is a wave controller the item he is using is a staff like a gandalf maybe? Or he is using spells? Almost all the other dogs including Yama seems to be close combat types.
Paul is currently foderizing rankers so I wouldn't necessarily count on what we are seeing now being representative of his fighting style. His weapon should be more telling in that regard... It looks like a needle with the length of a spear.... So... a spear? Of course, as you suggest this is different from yama's dogs who apparently specialize in close combat. Add to that the strangeness of paul apparently being an anima.

And now that I think about it.... it's just weird that yama's dogs put so much emphasis specifically on physical strength. They might have a talent for it given their dog transformations but even jordan has shown that dog transformations can be used for shinsoo blasts. And probably for a number of other things. It doesn't really make sense for them to be strength junkies when their talents can be more varied than that. Perhaps they are being intentionally misled in their training for some yama related reason?

If evankhell doesn't lift bam restrictions I don't see him activate everything at once, he is passed that phase at most thorn 1 multiplier should have increased by twice as much which should be enough, something like Yama waking up and attacking on instincts should give a glimpse, if that doesn't happen then it won't for now.

I doubt Kallavan Will fight alone, and neither does Bam have to. ToG has combat positions, fights can be done by teamplay.

Furthermore a Wave Controller is a support not a Vanguard, Bam isn't primarily a Fisherman. The guy back at 2F that fought Evankhell was the main one in that Battle but not the Vanguard either. He was able to block Evankhell while strengthening his weaker allies, and that gave Evankhell a disadvantage.

I suppose Bam can defeat Kallavan but never Fighting alone. He's got Shinsoo denial potential, he's got Killer attacks, great Shinsoo walls, he could defeat Kallavan by helping someone Else that would be the Fisherman in his stead. And I can bet all my Chips that Karakka Will be the Vanguard for him to do the killing blow, Piccolo and Goku style (except Karakka is imortal). In this exact scenario I think Bam can Win and get the glory, and I wouldn't call It bs.

As for Yama and Evankhell, there are stronger people in Jahad's army. Think of the team that cornered Evankhell in 2F and Mascheny, there would be way more hazardous people on last station If they hadn't arrived sooner. And this time they Will be waiting instead, so the gang Will be all there. So Bam + Karakka versus Kallavan + someone (Phonsekal Adv Ranker?), this is my bet.

If bam can beat kallavan now around floor 65 then anything that comes after is meaningless, kallavan is meaningless, it breaking the story you think bam can tank El robona and wipe out an entire fleet in one swing casually already? With all his powers taken into account? Nah not buying it to each their own and nobody forcing you to finish the story, I'm sure SIU wants to make money and not run his story into the ground before he gets a anime or something why would he do that? A lot can happen before kallavan.

The only reason I call it a staff is 4 bangs that are a constant on it, it can be 2 on each end or 4 on the sharp end iirc, looking at how the bang moves it doesn't need to be thrown maybe it elite spear bearing or something.

Maybe a majority of the dogs specialized in close combat naturally and develop their abilities further on their own, but they are raised in close combat so that should limit their growths for a natural light bearer, etc.

Agreed. Kallavan's very name was enough for good old ancient jinsung to kinda crap his pants. Of course, jinsung wasn't actually scared but he very much acknowledged his chances against kallavan weren't stellar. It's too early for bam to solo kallavan.

My assumption was that paul simply kept the bangs around him because he felt like it rather than because they were somehow a part of the staff. I suppose it could be something similar to mascheny's tres cuernos spear which also had what seemed like a bang at the end. That said, bangs aren't usually thrown by people, they are simply controlled. So while the bangs orbiting the spear/needle/staff are worth noting, their usage is completely standard so far.

This can happen no doubt it makes much more sense, Im of the opinion that kallavan and bam is gonna have a small battle to prove he is worth jinsung sacrifice, but that it kallavan ain't gonna die yet just rescue jinsung and split, I wouldn't be shocked if kallavan doesn't end switching sides tbh, his past self seemed like a chill guy until he lost it.

And on the note of paul's bangs.... Aren't they a tad too..... luminous? Kinda like shinwonryu? They remind me of zahard's bangs at the hidden floor except these are green. Of course, there is no way paul is an irregular. That is just not a thing. I wonder if perhaps there was a misunderstanding between the god of guardians and bangs and the situation is not that only irregulars can learn shinwonryu but rather he, the guardian, can only teach shinwonryu to irregulars (which would be redundant because to begin with he can only teach stuff to irregulars). Another possibility we have to consider here is that it's plausible that items can be given permission to use shinwonryu much like how regular weapons are given permission to use shinsoo.

Exactly kallavan isn't a joke he may fight simple but he is very OP, Bam making a scratch on him is kinda a mistake I get why it happened but a lot readers are reading into it too much its not a big deal, just a little foreshadowing of what happens when bam loses his shit, that why YHS makes a note of bam emotions more.

The control he has over the bangs is either wave controlling or spear bearing or both, looking at how he manipulates them, hopefully he uses the staff or spear in a certain way to see what it does specifically.

Baam almost never fights as part of a team. I somewhat doubt that he properly even knows how to, at least at this kind of level.

And he's pretty much whatever he wants to be. He just successfully played Fisherman against a Ranker while not really even trying too hard. It seems ridiculous to make denials about what he can or can't do at full power, given that we don't have a clue what that even looks like right now. We really didn't even know that before the timeskip, since Baam never used the second Thorn back at the Last Station. Considering that he managed to damage Kallavan then with the one Thorn, I'm not going to dismiss the likelihood that he could do a whole lot worse now with two (or more perhaps, if he gets another one before fighting Kallavan) and years of focused, intensive growth backing them. Evankhell taunted Kallavan about what might happen the next time he crossed paths with Baam, and I doubt she was just senselessly trolling.

I don't think this arc is going to yield much in the way of answers, though.

Almost certainly just a coincidence. It'd be really hokey if SIU trotted out two 'new' Shinwonryu users within a few chapters of each other.

Making a bang and throwing it is not something that is done differently across positions. Of course, a wave controller is more likely to rely on this but its not like there is a spear bearing approach to throwing a bang at someone's face. Of course, there are different ways to use a bang and that can make a difference on whether a technique is or not from a specific position (say, using your shinsoo for reinforcement).

I'd argue the opposite, it is the right time. By any measure it seems like akryung is on the same side as that fug elder who orchestrated this and clearly is working alongside paul. If there are shinwonryu shenanigans afoot then this is the perfect time to open that potential can of worms.

Baam should be able to take him between floor 50 and 60 . Yama should be able to take Kallavan mid difficily or pretty easily . Even Yama is a fodder compare to other Slayer . And them are fodder to Luslec who himself is fodder to enne and Adori jahad . Who are also foder to FH . And them are weaker than Zahard . So yes in 3 - 4 arc Baam need to defeat this kind of ennemy .

I think weapons with inherent Bangs might be Workshop prizes. I get the feeling Paul isn't even tiring himself from all this, It might Just be the weapons' energy being spent casually and his Will only comands It. Would be one Hell of a weapon If It can cast four bangs controlled by its wielder.

Luslec, Adori and Anne all are ranked above many FHs. Even If they cannot kill them, I guess they can defeat them throughly. Or maybe they can kill them with 13 months spells, who knows?

Kallavan isn't a Floor ruler level, which are likely all around top 150 or 200 positions in rank (they get admin Powers at the Floor they are at, only FHs should equal this priviledge). He should be out of High Rankers' upper quarter (top 250 people). But still, I wouldn't count on Bam soloing against ANY HR before he can thrash adv. Rankers.

That sounds a tad too convenient. Add to that, throwing four bangs around generally isn't that big an effort for anyone. Nor it even is a surprising amount of bangs either. I don't think the weapon itself would be that impressive among rankers if it did only that at least.

I hope he fights some one substantial (not Paul) Paul should be left for Yama. We need to see his skills in full display with shinworyu thorn and black march. The power that he would show off should be spectacular.
I agree, to display Yama’s strength, i think Paul is a good opponent.

You guess wrong Irregulars are superior to all non irregulars ( i dont count Rachel ) . Irregulars are limitless potential while regulars has limit .

I'm thinking his other/OLDER brother will be his climactic fight.

There is a reason some FHs rank lower than non irregulars. The clue I guess lies at 2F's admin: contracts are shackles to irregulars. I think some of the 13 GW may have downpowered themselves by making contracts in exchange for luxury.

The way Paul uses the bangs that are always on standby reminds me of the 'Truth-Seeking Balls' in the Narutoverse.

Also, 'Pole' (Paul) using a pole-weapon was lost on me until just now.

Yes it is because they were not active after ascending.the tower . While she was the head of Jahad army , so she surely was rewarded for anything that her squadron could have done . Furthemor she is like the right hand of Jahad . And i am speaking of they maximum power . Until the beginning difference between irregulars and non irregulars have been made clear even for the most talented . Why i am so sure of that ? Enne Zahard was the child of 2 irregular . So she was insanely powerful . But she posessed blood of 2 irregular she wasn't a actual one . It is the same for Adori who is ranked the same.

That makes a lot sense bam best wave controller in the by 70th floor imo.

Seriously looking at how bam scales overall another 5-10 yrs(generous) him fighting kallavan and putting up a fight seems most logical imo, so a couple time skips after a big reveal or new power or teacher is very easy SIU does it alot, a year or 3 is nothing really if them just climbing to get to a plot point.

Bam base abilities full powers is the answer to how much time he needs before kallavan, going by what we know now bam without the reservoirs still counting his blessing and everything else is top b or a class regular that his current strength imo, that a lot a ground to cover without the hax powers, who knows how much power he would need without the reservoirs and using his own actual shinsu capacity against rankers? He doesn't even bother.
