2025 is when we'll really start to feel it, with the new big three of Jump.
Because, after reading for enough time, the brain becomes adjusted to being able to alter speed while progressing, something not possible when watching a TV show or movie.Watching most shows is painful in a different way since they're so much slower than manga imo.

Now now, Soul Catchers may not have been a hit, but it still ran for two years, 11 volumes and broke 1 million in sales, so it was still success if nothing else.Easily, that roster had so many great titles. Almost everything there made it to the best part of 5 years, excluding Assass Class, Isobe and the 4 fodder (Though WT is a special case I suppose), with a considerable amount making it to 6 too. So many classics. Crazy when we currently only have 3 (4) series over 5 years at the moment.

Cute joke including Yui in the background there.2025 is when we'll really start to feel it, with the new big three of Jump.

or you know.....he could loseIf Zumou's entering the climax, I feel like it's very possible that it'll end this year (there's only 3 fights to go after all plus in-between stuff and wrap up), and then maybe it'll be the Winter GIGA series with a 3 chapter epilogue in there.
It's definitely the sort of series I can picture having an extended epilogue, it'd feel wrong for it to end without showing Hinomaru becoming Yokozuna which can't just be done in a quick 1 or 2 weekly chapter epilogue. It'd need a good 2 monthly-length chapters for the full build up and fight I feel plus a chapter for the epilogue's epilogue.
I'm now thinking in 80s too.the crazier thing is beside OP there are Bastards, Kenshin, JoJo, are all still running
Hoshin Engi, Yugi, Midori, Nube only ended recently, and all might be back with more sequels who knows..
that's more titles still running than the cover from 5 years ago
But what I'm seeing is a lot of those series started way earlier than that. I guess early 2010s was more of a continuist era and that's why there were comparitively less hits starting then.Easily, that roster had so many great titles. Almost everything there made it to the best part of 5 years, excluding Assass Class, Isobe and the 4 fodder (Though WT is a special case I suppose), with a considerable amount making it to 6 too. Bold of you to assume One Piece will have ended by 2025.2025 is when we'll really start to feel it, with the new big three of Jump.

I would not consider the current status of HxH to be alive. From my point of view, irregular publication is a fate worse than death.I still think that One Piece and HxH will outlive everything else in the current lineup, which is... scary to think about.
Jujutsu is a really fast paced series, I doubt it'll go to 400 chapters. BC on the other hand is aiming for potentially one piece level, I can see 500 ez. Tabata has been continuously improving thus far, let's hope we get some Shingeki levels of development.Maybe Hero. And Jujutsu.
I doubt BC will survive this long
Interesting. More mangaka commented on SnS's end than Toriko's end.WSJ mangaka comments talking about Shokugeki no Soma from issue 29
Let's not exaggerate, at most I see BC on the 300-400 chapters, 500 seem to me too many.Jujutsu is a really fast paced series, I doubt it'll go to 400 chapters. BC on the other hand is aiming for potentially one piece level
BC doesn't have high enough sales to last that long. MHA maybe but even that's a maybe.Didn't Tabata say he'd like Black Clover to go up to 700 chapters if allowed to? There's definitely potential there, it's just a matter of remaining popular for long enough to do it. Black Clover and MHA are the only two current series I can picture maybe outlasting One Piece.
Jump doesn't care as long as HxH keep getting high numbersWas about to say the same thing, HxH's not really a "living" series. It's a dead manga that get briefly resuscitated once a year or two.
EVERY series peaks and then drops. Name a series that hasn't dropped from it's peak number (AC and KnB don't count since they ended at their peak). Naruto's 1 million per volume numbers which we saw was not what it sold during it's peak. We know how much One Piece has dropped. HxH has dropped as well. We are aware of the drops experienced by Bleach, Toriko, Reborn, Nura, Bakuman, Beelzebub, Soma, Haikyuu!, Prince of Tennis etc.Black Clover isn't some unpopular flop, it's a really successful series. It's sales are good enough to last however long it wants to as long as they don't drop too much.
