They shouldn't, or at least I wouldn't imagine. The first season only covered I believe 4 1/2, maybe 5 volumes. That still leaves them 13 volumes to do another cour or hopefully 2.

Also I don't understand all of the guys here's praise for the animation; the animation in that trailer was nonexistent. MHA fan or not you have to admit it was hair and clothes flapping and sometimes arms moving. It looked amazing with the colors and linework and direction but I hope they're saving the big moments for when it actually airs. (Of course they have good stuff planned though, it's BONES after all.)

Fall will be Stone = Haikyuu = Hero since Stone's first arc starts off slow and Haikyuu and Hero are going into inconsequential arcs for their entire seasons (while still being as good as they are on average, just nothing special). Hopefully Stone gets good within a couple eps though!

I thought Haikyu was just confirmed to start a promo thing on Sept 22 not that the season would air in the fall. Yep, Haikyuu was never confirmed for Fall. Just that it was getting a screening in fall.

So it could end up being later (MHA S4 is getting a screening at Anime Expo for example which is the first week of July but its not airing summer)

Yeah, MHA is getting previews, character designs and all that now, and even a teaser a while back, while there's nothing for Haikyuu other the announcement. Then again they called the September thing 'a kickoff event'. And Soma just got announced for Fall without so much as a leak suggesting it beforehand.

A screening in fall is kind of late for an october debut unless the screening is showing episodes 1 and 2 in multiple theaters,, like lots of other shows do, or in kimetsu's case episode 1-4.

Still, it's kinda funny, didn't he say Medaka Box was a crappy manga but otaku bought the volumes because of fanservice? I guess he decided if you can't beat em, join em.
