He's not a newbie by no means. He clearly is experienced...its hard to call someone a newbie when they had a 2 volume series in 07' and a 5 volume series in 2010.

In that same way Horikoshi was a not a newbie when he started MHA. They both had plenty of experience before their titles have becomes hits and both have experienced flops.
Rather than inexperienced, I'd take newbie as refering to someone we don't have a lot of work as reference or was unknown for the majority of the audience, basically because his previous works were not outstanding.

You can be experienced and still be "unknown" & have flops.

Calling him a newbie is a blatant lie & disrespectful. How can someone call a mangaka who had 3 years of work experience a newbie? He's obviously not a veteran but clearly not a newbie by any means.

Never denied what you said. Just meant he was probably meaning what I explained even if it's not the meaning of 'newbie'. Basically another word should have been used.

When I said "newbie debuts" I meant Vol 1/manga as a newbie and I thought the context was pretty clear. I can't call him a veteran though (like I said, he does have clearly and obviously a lot of experience, but none of his work stuck enough to be a "veteran" of a sort which I consider as a title basically).

Volume 1 is at 100,614 in book-rank, Volume 2 at 77,712. They are a couple of weeks behind, though, so you can add a few thousands to this estimate.

Is Dr. Stone being niche is the reason why it doesn't sell as much at it should be? I mean Look at Act Age now tell me who is more niche

It's hard to say how good the editor is. According to their Twitter bio (https://twitter.com/SHIHEILIN) they also do Chainsaw Man, Moon Land, Heart Gear, and Dricam (as well as some Jump SQ stuff I haven't read) so while obviously no editor is going to have a 100% track record this one still produces duds alongside Spy x Family (although I stopped reading both Moon Land and Heart Gear so idk if they have pacing issues or not)
I don't really know if you can say whether the editor is good or bad. I mean doing that job isn't science. there is no magic formula to produce hit series. if they knew how to do that the artists would get all their stories rewritten to a certain point by the editors. I think it's more of a point of how much the editor's intuition for that series is wrong or not. no one really know what will sell or not. Something an editor will be hit can just turn to be a flop in the end. it all depends on what the readers feel about the series.

Speaking of recent animes from Jump. I really like the fact that both Kimetsu and Dr. Stone are on Netflix Japan. It use to be so hard to follow season anime but not so much before.

Jump+ is under nak so he don't care

Huh, so the editors of Shonen Jump are the same on Shonen Jump+? I thought they had a different editorial even though Nakano was editor in chief for both.

That's kinda what I was getting at but now realize how poorly I worded it and made it seem like I thought he was a bad editor. I just think a lot of people tend to give the editors either too much credit or not enough.

I didn't say I knew. But if we were getting new series in all likelihood we would have gotten a leak by now. You're fairly new so maybe you weren't aware
