.....Laxus>Erza
You are about to get your wishes mate.
Laxus is about to sh!t on kyria or erza or both
--- Double Post Merged, , Original Post Date: ---

ah my man @sharkai is back :hip
Thanks man
Glad to be back
Recent chapter brought me back

Been busy with life. Fairy tail took a back seat. Hope mishma spends more time here
--- Double Post Merged, ---

Natsu and Gajeel are relatively around the same level when you look at it closely, really, Natsu only used one time power ups or powers that do not define his standard scale, they both can defeat standard Spriggans, either with their own skills or power ups. Natsu doesn’t use Savage Flames again because it harms him and his Seven Flames is from all the DS. So Natsu is right back where he was before those.

And even in this verse, apparently hax magic does equate to strength via magic power.
Dont know
If anyone read the last arc they might conclude natsu was a tier or two or five tiers above gajeel. Natsu just kept on fighting and winning with one punch :-_-
--- Double Post Merged, ---

Personally i dont think any fairy tail character was above springgans in that arc, including laxus natsu or erza or even gildart.
Gildart might have been equal
Everyone else needed some pof.

Or at least i think that was what mishma wanted to show us. Then he wrote himself in to the corner and springgans started to drop like flies :-_-

But still i believe gajeel could beat wahl. He could have wahl for breakfast
I mean literally, the guy is made out of metal

But he cant beat ajeel. Ajeel can turn metal into dust just by touching it.
Also why i think ajeel can easily handle wahl.
But ajeel wahl powerwise are equal. And equal to all other average springgans
Maybe below lacarde
And far below August and ireen

Natsu ain’t one punch man, we have seen him got around a dozen hits in, well it is a manner of if their tiers are actually a permanent stick or just part of a power. Well from what I read in the arc, there were at least a few FT people who were at Standard Spriggan level or higher without any external power ups, which would include, Natsu, Erza, Mira, Gildarts, Laxus.

Believe me, yes the Spriggan are around equal to each other, excluding Larcade, Eilleen, August who are stronger. As for Gajeel verses Wahl, unless he uses his proxy which creates weakness soldier, like creating a solider made of water and salt to rust Gajeel’s iron, really, the soldiers weakness is if there are more people, then they can switch soldiers with each other.

How did gajeel held his own against natsu? Are we supposed to ignore last arc feats or something?
Is laxus gonna one shot kyria?

So mira vs jacob
And laxus vs wahl conversation seems to have ended.
The conclusion seems to be that mira is considerably below a springgan

Average springgan > mira

And laxus can kill an average springgan casually, if we are to believe august hype and ignore severe pof and other bs in wahl fight. So thats at least

Laxus >> average springgan

Does this means laxus can casually kill mira :gwah

Laxus >>> mira
???

Gajeel being significantly above springgan doesnt seems right.
Majority springgans used hax
Once bs is used to overcome the hax, they lose quite easily
Bloodman, wahl, dimeria, lacarde and even august comes here.
Then some idiots didnt use their hax properly like jacob, brandish

Hax magic is always annoying. There is no real good way to judge them
The term 'hax' is simply used to denote an ability that allow the users to bypass or circumvent conventional durability to varying degrees. As to what degree, it still essentially boils down to the level of expertise in which the user wields the ability, and more importantly, how strong the users themselves are. You can let a poorly skilled fisherman have the best fishing rod ever crafted, It does not mean he is going to reel in a higher catch rate than a skilled fisherman with a regular rod. Nor does it mean an inept technician with the most quality toolbox can repair a broken down equipment more efficiently than a veteran mechanic who knows his stuff. You get the gist.

However, quite often, some fans tend to extrapolate the 'hax' ability to infinity or assumed to not have any maximum value or bounded by a threshold. A no limit fallacy. This is clearly shown to be erroneous, as Dimaria's Age Seal was ignored by Natsu, and Brandish's mass manipulation was ineffective on enhanced Neinhart. It was debunked even further when Brandish's admitted her magic could no longer affect Natsu's tumour during his comatose state, this was despite her altering the size of Natsu's tumour shortly before. In these circumstances, even with these 'hax' abilities, the degree was not large enough for the users to overcome the difference in strength.

There are too many evidence that leads the readers to feel it is simply more reliable for a character to depend on their genuine skills and strength, as opposed to a 'hax' ability which is often shrouded with ambiguity. Case in point, Bloodman's body being entirely composed of magic barrier particles made him impervious to most attacks, while simultaneously killing his enemies almost instantly without him needing to lift a finger. After Gajeel manages to negate this advantage, Bloodman proves that he has absolutely no experience/training in hand-to-hand combat of his hands-off fighting style, as Gajeel laid a beatdown on him and ended the fight in mere seconds.

At his best, Gajeel is significantly stronger than the average Spriggan, who are generally overhyped due to the preconceived notion of their potential game-changing power level during the time they were introduced in the story. But once the fanfare died down and sense of novelty wore off, they were what they were. Decently powerful mages, but not incredibly as compared to FT's elite. I rate Gajeel to be on the same tier as Gray and Erza. The latter two are better fighters only because of their adaptability, resourcefulness, and tactical wit in Gray's case. Otherwise, from a magical and physical standpoint, Gajeel is as strong as Gray and Erza.

WSD Sting is superior to Larcade. Have them fight again and as long as Sting has access to Rogue's MP, he wins.

Sorry, not only is Gajeel stronger than Bloodman, he is significantly stronger. The difference between the two is about as vast as the difference between Natsu and Jacob(so very vast). Gajeel won because he is stronger.

True(don't actually know what you're referring to).

Gajeel doesn't need to beat those 3 Historia, he can oneshot Neinhart and they'll disappear. Though apparently looking at them funny kills em too.

Like Jacob clapped Natsu and Mirajane out of existence? Nah. Gajeel beats him to death with just his fists, no named moves, just like he did to Bloodman.

Bloodman displayed considerably more versatility than Wahl in his fight. Gajeel would eat Wahl for breakfast(literally).

Bloodman could use all the curses he wants, wouldn't have made a difference. The more powerful character wins, and Gajeel won.

God Serena is decent, but he's only normal spriggan tier, so below Gajeel.

No, I am remembering how poorly spriggans performed against FT. FT top tiers are a cut above, that includes Gajeel, Laxus, Natsu, Gray, etc. Larcade giving Eileen mini orgasms accomplished nothing, Wendy and Erza were fighting Eileen fine before Larcade's magic, they fought her fine during Larcade's magic, and they fought her fine afterwards. Larcade's magic changed literally nothing in Eileen's fight. Larcade's affecting her with his magic means nothing if it doesn't actually accomplish anything.
Wow, what a load of horseshit. I gave up the minute you said Sting is superior to Larcade. By your logic, Marin is stronger than Erza because he has a type advantage against her. Your comment is unbelievably ignorant and it hurts my brain lol bye.

Sting beat Larcade. Larcade is a top tier Spriggan. Does that mean Sting is top tier Spriggan level because he beat him? Absolutely not, he gets fodderized by any Spriggan. He beat him because of a type advantage, not because he was stronger. Not to mention the fact Larcade was talking instead of killing him like he could have down multiple times.

Apparently Gajeel has speed feats and he’ll run past all the historia Spriggan’s. I can’t Even.

So because Gajeel beat Bloodman who used a few curses, he’d 100% beat him again if Bloodman used all his curses? That’s bull.

The point about the hax is that it affected Irene from a distance. If Jet and Droy used pleasure magic on the battlefield, would Irene be effected?

Your comments basically prove that nobody understands the Spriggan’s power levels. The Spriggan’s lost because they were tag teamed or lost due to type advantages (we literally saw Sting CANCEL Larcade’s white magic). Fairytail got extremely lucky and hardly any of them actually measure up to Spriggan’s. Gajeel, for example, would’ve started coughing blood like Levy if his lungs weren’t conveniently made of iron to protect him from the bane particles.

Gajeel didn’t beat Bloodman because he’s vastly superior to Bloodman. He beat him because Bloodman didn’t use all his curses and Gajeel had assistance and type advantages (Iron lungs). Please tell me how Gajeel being lucky makes him vastly superior?

And some people are forgetting that Slayers do gain strength from what they eat so they would have gained the strength of Spriggans that they did not have before. Even has abilities have power levels too from the MPF where Millianna has the strength of a MC captain despite not being the combat type. Plus yes unfortunately not everyone use all their powers based on their mindset, it is a common thing in various stories. For hax, either it is stated to be absolute or shown that there is another hax ability that counters it, like with Natsu as END managed to counter Dimaria’s Time Stop because his curse power is to surpass god powers, and that makes sense for how he was created to kill Zeref.

Eating Bloodman's particles is nothing like Wendy eating the air around face. Face is a super-powerful magical weapon. It was saturating the air around it with high amounts of ethernano, essentially making it highly magical air. Bloodman's anti magic particles doesn't contain any magic power and doesn't saturate the air with ethernano. Not only does eating anti-magic particles not give Gajeel a boost in magic power, it will actually eat away at the ethernano within his body. This would actually decrease Gajeel's overall magical reserves. The only way for Gajeel to gain magic power is to convert the iron within it into power. Problem is, there is only a tiny amount of iron. Gajeel would recover more magical power eating a chunk that Levy creates with solid script. At the end of the day, what Gajeel actually ate was a tiny amount of iron mixed in with a tonne of anti-magic particles. Most of what Gajeel ate would mess with his magic reserves. Some of what Gajeel ate would recover magic power. None of what Gajeel ate was a rich source of magic.

All eating Bloodman's particles really did is allow Gajeel to touch Bloodman. He didn't steal all of Bloodman's curse power. He didn't inherit Bloodman's physical strength either. Bloodman doesn't have super impressive physical strength in the first place, so what is there to inherit? Gajeel didn't need Bloodman's physical strength. He needed a way to touch Bloodman.

And it is the same particles that are stated to steal magic from everywhere, and anti magic particles that destroy magic, and in both cases both Dragon Slayers became more powerful, despite that, he became stronger regardless, as he managed to hit Bloodman before the power up, and yet he did not went down. Not all iron is equal to each other, especially when they are supernatural and they have power on their own. Eating anything, even apart from their element that replenishes their magic can strengthen them with being supernatural, that is a fact how DS magic works. Size does not matter, example, Natsu ate a small piece of Lacrima that made him stronger than Jellal despite eating massive amounts of fire that does not even put him at Jellal’s strength before. Bloodman managed to take hits from Gajeel before the power up, so he does have physical strength to back him up, it doesn’t matter if it is all of his power, as the MPF shows that the strength of a wizard is based on the strength of their techniques, and when he ate the particles of Bloodman at his strongest form, he would have that level of strength as well.

He one shot bluenote, pretty much jacob and an enhanced version of nienhart who was significantly more powerful than brandish.
And aconologia too :teehee

If these mages were stronger than the average springgans then what was the point of them sh!ting themselves when brandish came along. What did mishma wanted to show here. Personally i thought he wanted to show they were vastly above the previous villains, and difference between good guys and bad guys wasnt the same as it was in the previous arcs.

To me hax has the benefit of ambiguity. No one knows when a hax will work, and mishma then comes up with some convenient stuffs to overcome that hax.
We have seen it again and again that weaker character effecting stronger ones with their hax, arai and markarov, Marin erza, mest brandish, yet bloodman cant macro gajeel.
Then suddenly the good guys are overcoming hax, like natsu dimeria and brandish (seriously red lightening, gajeel eating anti magic particles to effect a person made out of those particles:blink). I seriously think that if one ask mishma whether brandish hax will work on laxus / gildarts or not, he wouldn't know the answer.
Hax and plot seems to go hand in hand.

The way mishma introduced the springgans, they shouldnt have been just decent wizard. They should have been like gods. What was the point of all that hype?

Eating Bloodman's particles was a power up. You literally see him get a power up form.

Gajeel eating regular = no power up and just a snack.
Other people eating MCBs = Deathly poison
Gajeel eating MCBs = new transformation and abilities.
Those MCBs were obviously not regular iron and MCBs are a magic type (they make up justu shiki and curses are a derivative of magic) so again not regular iron.

That form is a power up. Like how in the heck can you say it's not? He literally becomes Black Iron which is something he could not do beforehand. Hell he can't even do it currently lol.

Also Bloodman already took a hit from Gajeel and didn't even have a scratch on him and he matched Gajeel in physicals.

So again Gajeel got a power up to win. That's clear as day when he turned into something he has never been before and gained additional abilities.

Bluenote yes that was a one shot, but Jacob, he had to throw in more hits than one. With Neinhart was technically two hits, and still, with Acnologia, Natsu was not able to get any hits in, and even with his strongest attack, Acnologia was stopped so he could not stop a dragon based attack

Eating a large amount of regular fire would recover more magic power than eating a small amount of regular fire. The Etherion that Natsu ate were highly concentrated crystals of magic. The golden flame that Jellal gave to Natsu contained all of Jellal's magic power. In both cases, the stuff that Natsu ate had extremely high amounts of magic power that makes it better than eating a large amount of regular fire. There iron in Bloodman's particles is just regular iron. Worse yet, it's regular iron mixed in with a bunch of anti-magic particles that eats away at magical ethernano.

Anti-magic particles don't make up jutsu shiki.

Just because Gajeel got a "new form" doesn't mean he increased magic power or physical strength. The new form is just Gajeel's regular iron scales dyed black from the anti-magic particles. Gajeel got "new abilities" in the sense that he changed the properties of his magic into that of Bloodman's curse. This allows Gajeel to touch Bloodman. It doesn't increase his magic power or physical strength. Gajeel's physical strength was already higher than Bloodman's. I wouldn't call that exchange even. Bloodman tried to choke Gajeel. Gajeel broke his grip and choked him back, and then headbutted him. Bloodman apparently wanted none of that, because for the rest of the fight he avoided a physical brawl and opted to rely on intangibility. Gajeel wouldn't need to use this black iron form if he was fighting an opponent that wasn't intangible. Against any other Spriggan, Gajeel would have been able to just punch them out.

So mira vs jacob
And laxus vs wahl conversation seems to have ended.
The conclusion seems to be that mira is considerably below a springgan

I wouldn't say Mirajane is weaker than the average Spriggan. She's probably on the same level or stronger. But Mirajane beating up Jacob when he's trying to slap you with his eyes closed is not the same as Laxus breaking Wall's spine. Laxus vs Wall and Mirajane vs Jacob are not fights that are similar in execution or results.

Laxus can use attacks that would be fatal to most Spriggans. Fairy Tail members generally have tougher durability than the Spriggans, and I'm willing to extend this to include Mirajane as well. So the same attacks may not be necessarily fatal to Mirajane. Nonetheless, Laxus is indeed superior to Mirajane. Laxus is probably superior to FDK Natsu, Gray at peak POF, and Erza. It would take DF Natsu or Erza at peak POF to beat Laxus.

That is not fair.
Regular characters get more panels more feats and since good guys have to win, they survive strongest of hits
Bad guys dont get this benefit. So i think its really bad to say almost all good guys have better durability than almost all bad guys

I think if one believes mira is equal or below average springgans
And laxus can casually kill a springgan
Then it follows that laxus can casually kill mira

I guess i agree on the fact that mira vs jacob and laxus vs wahl arent the same.

I dont agree with laxus hype of one shotting ajeel. It makes no sense to me.
I also dont see red lightening as non pof attack. I dont rank red lightening high either. Wahl said he didnt recognize the lightening not like his immunity was over powered.
I rank pof laxus equal to pof des gray
A tier below pof erza who over power top tier springgans top tier attack
Pof natsu is god tier and i dont know what that is
Non pof erza might be below laxus, but i always saw them on the same tier (i know this is extremely unpopular opinion:s)

Not all the bad guys. Most of the Spriggans. The current dragon eaters of this arc have good durability. I don't believe Mirajane's durability is below an average Spriggan's.

Why don't you believe that Laxus' nuke would have oneshotted Ajeel? And as far as red lightning goes, think of it this way: Jacob has no special resistance to fire. Natsu's FDK demolition fist didn't kill Jacob. Laxus' red lightning killed Wall.

The Dragon Eaters are no different than any other bad guys, they go down one point but then return for round two which either delivers or don’t. Point being, they are likely going down again. Red Lightning definitely is a stronger spell than his other techniques, apart from Fairy Law and likely his DS secret arts. Jacob would have higher durability too, compared to previous villains

Yet that tiny crystal that beat Jellal is somehow weaker than Jellal’s magic power that is 3 times stronger than when he fought Jellal. Regular fire replenishes Natsu’s power, while being is supernatural makes him stronger, same with other Dragon Slayers eating supernatural elements, especially for Gajeel when the iron is powered by something supernatural regardless, no different than when Natsu eats something poisonous yet got powerful from it. Yes it does, Wall stated that it is anti-magic particle cancelled which worked especially on Jutsu Shiki and same thing on Laxus who was infected by them. The new form would not have let him win if he had not the strength to put down Bloodman, as we have seen when he hit Bloodman before, did not put him down in seconds prior to the power up.
The etherion crystal is more powerful than Jellal. Jellal's power boosted Natsu to 2-3x the power of Natsu's regular power, not 3X the power of when Natsu had Dragon Force with etherion. In any case, Natsu isn't gaining a power-up because what he's eating is "supernatural". He's gaining a power-up because etherion and the golden flame are both things that contain a high amount of magic power. Bloodman's particles is the exact opposite of having a high amount of magic power. They destroy the ethernano that make up magic power.

Wall said that anybody that can cancel Jutsu Shiki would also destroy the anti-magic particles. That's not the same as saying Jutsu Shiki is made out of anti magic particles.

Gajeel only landed a single headbutt before Bloodman decided that he wanted no part in engaging in a brawl. When Gajeel was finally able to touch Bloodman, he was able to deliver a beatdown.

Even for springgans it doesn't make sense. Most of those fight followed the same formula, once you overcame their hax, you can easily take them out.
But they are supposed to have huge mp.
And serena could easily tank all goi attacks.

Can you imagine
in the very start of fairy tail one guy overcome a hax of hybrion and one shot him. Then loses to start of series natsu in one on one fight?

We just dont have feats for the bad guys like springgans.
Then it becomes fans choice who is strong who isnt.

Because it goes against zeref and springgans hype.
Because no character seems to be abnormally impressed by laxus nuke and planned the war around laxus. And laxus aint aconologia tier
And laxus being that powerful served no purpose in the story.

But machina are extremely weak against lightening. Once wahl couldnt convert lightening he was gonner. Red lightening doesn't even need to be laxus strongest move
And i would have agreed with its strength if wahl ai said something about overloading or something along those lines

Calm down son, it's just manga, no need to get upset about it. As for Marin, there are degrees of usefulness advantages provide. Just because you have an advantage and win, doesn't mean you can't win without it.

Larcade is above average spriggan tier, not top tier. August and Eileen are top tier. And Sting with Rogue's power is above average spriggan level too, maybe saying he was superior to Larcade was an exaggeration, but he's more or less on that level.
Larcade talking in the fight means nothing, all characters talk in their fights. As for type advantage, sure, it contributed to Sting's victory.

Yep, Gajeel has the speed feats. The feats of blitzing Bloodman so hard that he died a few seconds later.

Who the hax affects isn't impressive, supposedly it could affect Acnologia, and yet still I, and everyone else, don't give a shit. Wanna know why? It's cause If the magic doesn't accomplish anything in a fight, then it's meaningless, who it affects doesn't matter.

You have it backwards. The spriggans were weak, and it was they who had it very lucky in most cases, matched up against foes they counter hard, because otherwise they'd get slaughtered. Like Jacob, was placed inside the guild so Natsu had to hold back the entire fight. Then there is Wahl, immune to lightning yet fought Laxus, and even then Mashima still needed to nerf Laxus hard with MBPs. Then there is Ajeel, he's immune to swords, and who does he fight? Erza, even worse he had Marin, another hard counter to Erza, using magic in the background restricting her magic. Then there's Neinhart, needed to fight an already trashed Erza. Then there is Bloodman, and intangible fighter, pitted against Gajeel, a physical fighter. The only spriggans who were at a disadvantage were Invel, Dimaria and Larcade.

Yes, Gajeel beat Bloodman because he was vastly superior, and yes if Bloodman used all his curse Gajeel would win again. The only reason Bloodman presented a challenge at all was because he had the type advantage, Gajeel figuring out a way to use his skillset to change that type advantage is just clever think on his part. If they ever fought again, Gajeel would massacre Bloodman with ease.

Quality of their element >>>> Quantity of their element. That was shown when Natsu ate the Flame of Rebuke, Zancrow's flames, Ignia's Flame, Wendy eating the Wind right by FACE, Gajeel eating Rogue's fodder attack, Sting eating an exhausted Rogue's magic, and Natsu eating Laxus's lightning. Natsu could eat a whole city of regular fire and still not be stronger than eating Jellal's flame of rebuke (at the time). Heck Wendy ate so much air in the Sherria fight she made the air thinner yet when she ate a little air around FACE she went into DF.

MCBs do make up Justu Shiki, it's the main reason why Laxus wanted fight Wall. He saw Wall cancel the MCBs in the Justu Shiki and knew he could cancel the MCBs in himself as well.
Justu Shiki are made up of MCBs.

New Forms always equal power ups in FT. Dragon's Force, Dual Element, Drive modes, Stat Dresses, Takeovers, and several others transformation that come at the last second of a fight and give new abilities and powers would indicate a power up. Please tell me when someone in FT who just got a new transformation in the middle of a battle wasn't getting a power up? There's no point in the transformation if they didn't get stronger lol.

He didn't avoid a physical battle bcs he was scared Gajeel's physicals, he avoided a physical battle bcs he would gain nothing from it and it would be pointless. They were even in physical power as seen in their confrontation of physicals.

Also that same headbutt from Gajeel put Natsu in the dirt so yeah, Bloodman matched Gajeel physically and wasn't even scratched by his headbutt which made Natsu bleed lol.

Gajeel also got a new magical aura around his attacks along with turning into MCBs.
He has never shown that aura outside of this form. So again, Gajeel got a power up.
