Lol last week the series sold 430k, this week its 480k

Man people sure do like to sleep on virtually every title that's infront of it from the half of this year to now. Its not like they just stop selling because of Kimetsu.

No it hasn't. The culmination list has not been even tallied yet. TPN and Kingdom backlog are still selling at a rate of 17k per volume and they have much higher per volume sales than Kimetsu, all Kimetsu's doing is just catching up since it didn't even make the top 10 during the half list.

Yeah, but these series aren't stuck with the same number they had on the half year list. It MIGHT surpass TPN, but it definitively won't win against Kingdom

No they aren't, TPN doesnt even make the weekly top 10 selling series even though the cutoff has been around 50-60k, because the backlog sales slowed down ages ago, also if it were selling 17k per volume every week it would make the Oricon top 50 list which it doesnt, meanwhile KnY has been selling 350k-400k a week for quite some time now while every volume continues to place in the top 30

since s8 vol releasing like oct 4. I didn't know anything about manga sales so how much should it sell to say its good/ok/bad and do we need to wait for sometime to know how much it sold or will be known on the same day.

We will need to wait until Oricon comes out, I think. We will know how much it sold in its first 3 days-1 week, which is the most important period.

On the daily rankings all volumes are still in the top 30, ignoring that it still doesn't change the fact that KnY in 2 weeks has sold over 900k copies while TPN has sold below 100k, if this keeps up which it most likely will considering the S1 finale + vol 17 releases in 2 weeks... KnY will finish no2 this year

TPN 15 sold 190K first week so backlog for 14 volumes here are 58K and

208K for TPN 15 and 62K backlog

98K for TPN 15 and 75K backlog

17K backlog equals 238K which TPN never did after the anime finished.

Daily rankings don't have any basis on actual sales numbers. You were wrong now move along.

Also ignoring the fact that you're making a comparison between a series with an anime running that just had a reprint weeks ago to a series that ended its anime way back in the beginning of the year.

Why does this always happen when a series gets a boost? People who could out the woodwork with no knowledge of anything try to pretend they know what they're talking about.

This week is the biggest in terms of sales for KNY even larger than when volume 16 was released

It's important to remember Kimetsu wasn't even in the top10 for the first half of 2019, so Neverland has at least 2,3kk of a headstart. And it will still release a new volume before the end of the year, right? And the previous volumes are still selling, even if not close to the same pace as Kimetsu
