I honestly wish Jump would just put Taisei, Beast and Shinobi out of their misery already. It's clear all three have failed critically and commercially at this point, so keeping them around feels almost cruel. And, on a practical business level, it feels like a huge waste of space when Jump is in need of some new hits quite soon.

On a business level? Perhaps. On a personal level, I don't know, I'm actually content currently.

I won't complain if quality series are released soon, but Mission: Yozakura Family is holding me over pretty nicely.

I'm not really worried about Yozakura right now. It's only a few chapters in so the position fluctuating is normal I guess. Of course, I want it to last since it's one of the few debuts I've actually enjoyed this year, but we have to wait a few more weeks and ,of course, for the first volume's sales in a few months.

I wouldn't be quite so sure about that, actually. Looking at Jump Matome, it seems the series last two chapters haven't landed the impact due to the jank pacing, though it's entirely possible it'll bounce back or these numbers will prove inaccurate to actual result.

What exactly are those arbitrary numbers supposed to mean again? We'll have to wait for continued ToC placement, promotion, official acknowledgement, volume sales, etc. before we actually know how well the series is doing.

Not to mention it literally doesn't even have enough chapters for a volume yet.

Yeah, the last three chapters have been an improvement, though they still struggle with a weak foundation and unfocused tone and narrative, even if some of the individual moments are fantastic.
