One Piece is only for the strongest ones at this point, no casual fan will read or watch 900+ chapters or episodes to catch up with it. Indeed, My Hero Academia is much more accessible because of the short anime. I think Shueisha should start doing a reboot of One Piece anime based on arcs with modern and better animation, etc.
The already did it with many arc.

I think S8 will sell between 50-100k for the first two volumes but that the sales are going to drop starting volume 3. I don't really see the series surpassing what RxL did in terms of sales.
We talk about a Kishimoto series.

They did? Where is this work of art? XD
I'm not talking about remasterization, though. That they remastered many old episodes for wide screen I already knew. It is a complete reebot I am talking about.

Totally off-topic, but whoever was proofreading the most recent chapter of Dear Sa-chan definitely felt like taking it easy. I noticed a surprising amount of spelling and grammatical issues that I've never really caught before in any other MangaPlus translations.

Well, rereading Spy x Family now on ESJ I feel that the English is much smoother than when I was reading at Manga Plus, I don't know how to explain. Besides the better typesetting.

Poor translation for a poor manga. Seems about right. I will be very surprised it Vol 1 manages to sell 3k copies, let alone more.

Samurai 8 has a more well known author, but Robot (and I think Platinum End at the time?) didn't have nearly the negative reputation S8 has. On JP internet, the series has become something of a whipping boy.

Is that first one an original series, or is it based off of something preexisting (a novel, movie, etc)? The second one looks like it could be interesting too.
I like an how actual Psycho Pass series is starting about 2 and a half weeks after. Assuming it isn't connected I hope we get it since it does seem interesting from that visual (and assuming the name is supposed to be "Good morning Psychopath"

On Samurai 8 I think it will sell pretty well at first then drop off. If I'm remembering correctly that's what Robo did and I think it will have a similar path.
The second one was the one that picked my interest more just by the art, but I don't know what they mean by the title...
Is that second one some weird Psycho-Pass spin-off, or is the title just entirely a crazy coincidence? Or deliberate to trick people for some reason? The name could be Good Morning Psycho-Pass, or it could just be completely unrelated and titled Good Morning Psychopath.
Seems that Goodnight Psychopath is the (unrelated to Psycho Pass) serialization of the oneshot made for the Shonen Jump+ Grand Prix Award and took the 2nd place.

Like I said before, Kishimoto name can be as much as a blessing as a curse because the expectations were too high and in my humblest opinion hasn't been fulfilled and it may turn into a disaster precisely because of the weight of his name.

That's actually a very real thing in business terms:

This is part of why Jump creators have such a poor comeback rate.

Gonna read it, looks interesting. Maybe I will be able to read it today and I will give my impressions.

Or rather, I will not because it will be released on October 8th. Always look at your dates kids. XD

Re Act-Age I am really worried about Kei Yonagi right now, all I am gonna say.
The panel with her eyes turning insane and the head grabbing...oof. Not sure how can mangaka resolve this in any good way mentally for her.

Yozakura was really good this week, love this one!

This is my favorite Mitama chapter now. I think the manga would be better if it had less pages per chapter, though.
BNHA and We Never Learn were just okay thos week.

Double Taisei potentially could end soon, it's basically coming down to the "final boss" of the arc.

Issue 46.

BTW, regarding Haikyu, is this the first time a Jump traditional spoken has progressed to a second year? Hikaru went through multiple time skips, but I can't think of one previously which didn't end in its first year.
