At this point it is obligates to say depends on the story and the ANIMATION behind it.
This a really good point, and I feel like the latter can't be emphasized enough. Kimetsu no Yaiba is good stuff, and I don't think people would still be watching if the narrative wasn't good, but its popularity also seems to be in no small part due to the incredible job Ufotable did animating the fight scenes. I personally started watching after seeing the sequence from Episode 19 out of context. It wasn't really on my radar yet before then, and now I've watched the whole dang thing and I'm starting the manga. This feels like a phenomenon that is not unique to me.

So yeah, I think Act Age, Jujitsu Kaisen, and Chainsaw Man all have the potential to get big boosts from their animes. As long as the animes themselves are A+.

It depends on how passionate/talented the anime staff is with the source material. I feel like CSM will get picked up by Madhouse/MAPPA and JJK by studio bones. I havent read up on AA so its early to judge. You can get a boost with a bad adaptation but you get the idea.
I actually would prefer if Bones gets Chainsaw man, I really think they could capture its artstyle the same way they did with Soul Eater, JJK I'm unsure. Maybe Act Age will be given to JC Staff, given how they also did Bakuman and Soma, two non battle manga that didnt require that much animation, tho whoever gets its I hope they can do it justice

Bones would be a better choice but I was being realistic (not that Bones cant get CSM). I feel like Madhouse/MAPPA will jump on it tbh

Fair, tho whoever does it hopefully is devoted to the source material, maybe David Prod could also do it

Samurai 8 #1-2

Eh, now that I have a good look at them, I actually think these are pretty good. Hell, when even 5ch likes your covers, you know you've done something right XP

A question.

What happened with Best Blue author?

Here's another interesting topic (pretty please)

Given how KnY is still growing in sales and peak, what do you think would be its actual sales peak?
600-650k is not far off right now. It's print numbers should be around that tbh.
600-670k, i think.

Best Blue's author is Masahiro Hirakata
Oh, my bad.

Well, as for Hirakata, he seems to have largely been off the grid as far as serialized manga is concerned, with his last work I can find being a comedy manga on Jump+ that was canned in two volumes. Still doing Killco art on twitter, though.

Its recent print numbers point to 705k per volume, which was probably in preparation for the finale of the Kimetsu anime. Volume 17 will be very interesting to track and I'm very excited to see how it does.

I agree that it will be peak around 600-650k. While the demon train arc is getting a movie adaptation, I think itll get a recap in season 2 which will give a boost. Similar to how kimetsu was shown in theaters before the anime aired.

This is nothing new, Kimetsu has always had a strong twitter/social media following. I very well remember Kimetsu's twitter beating BC's follower count even before the Kimetsu anime was announced.

Also its no surprise either as Kimetsu's episodes trended worldwide, episode 19 & the finale being big examples of that. I dont recall TPN/MHA having that level of success with their anime.
The first episode trended worldwide. There were several ones but they only trended in Japan. So it was three times for ep 1,19 and 26.

Here in Spain Kimetsu managed to be Trending Topic in middle of a freaking Real Madrid vs Atletico football game, which is a BIG feat.
