Volume 34 came out in Octoberr 2018 and it sold 550K. That's a 100K drop in one year. It also went from second best-seller after One Piece to fifth. The new anime can't come soon enough.

Not really important since the numbers change constantly. Just know that, aside from Samurai 8, everything is in the 1000 range, with Kimestu right behind OP.

Tbh, between the end of S3 and S4, we have MHA S2 and S3,Kimetsu anime, Neverland wining awarsds , and having an adaptation, and a long running adaptation of Black Clover(plus Soma S3 , Yuna, WNL and Hinomaru anime, but those didn't have a big bost if I remember well).
Being the fifth is a surprise but it was a long wait.

Tbh, at this point I think the anime will only stall the decline. The sales won't go back up again, IMO

What a beautiful sight, KNY is absolutely crushing it. I'm excited to see the final numbers in November. Can't imagine how happy Gotouge must be right now.

OP had sold 5 million back when the hafl-yearly numbers dropped and then volume 92 dropped back in July and added another 2 million. Volume 93 is probably gonna add another 2 million, which will leave OP with more than 9 million copies. KNY is around 7 million now, It would have to sell another 2 million until the end of the fiscal year, which is in a month and a half. KNY might come close, with like a 500k difference, but I don't think it will top OP. It'll be above Kingdom for sure, though.

The drop is pretty noticeable. I thought that with the anime's announcement it would manage to stay stable for a while, but alas. Curious to see what the next volume's sales will be since it drops before the anime's next season. I don't think there will be a boost when the anime comes back, but maybe it'll help sales stay stable again.

Like Rain said, not hard to beat a 5k 1 week seller (7k ish two weeks) at all.
I think S8 should sell around 80k. In before comments in this forum be like: Samurai 8 is selling just 8% of Naruto's volume sales!". In any way, I expect a comments mess, and I am not ready for it.

I find it almost impressive how poorly Yui Kamio has done. You'd think Shiibashi would have some readers, but it seems even that has gotten him nothing.

I for one can't wait! It's not everyday you get to talk about the return of someone like Kishimoto.
