Its 5ch so it might be bullshit probably just trying to stir up propaganda about Sam8 being hated though I don't really see the point in making false claims when its not really beneficial.

They can post whatever they want on that site. I'm more concerned about this site. There's already a narrative being spun, and we don't even know that it's accurate.

Just, for future reference, don't post stuff like that again. At least, when there's not concrete proof that it's accurate.

I am disappointed that Viz didn't pick up Chainsaw Man. Guess I will be waiting until next year.

Don't know much about these stuff but One Piece Vol 94 doesn't have great reviews either, I don't think that's a really good indicator to use.

To be fair, the current arc sales is not as great as it used to be (still sold a lot tho).

it never said anything about him giving an idea about zabuza arc. the thing i posted clearly showed kishi saying it was his plan and here is the full link of the interview, not just few things. this interview came around 2015 but suddenly someone posted (we know who it is) it yesterday and by next day Reddit post appears saying editor made naruto what it is. the person who posted regarding saying that Naruto was good because of editor cutting exposition and animal characters but now because of kishi name the editor of s8 doesn't care and he lets kishi do whatever he feels. where sole purpose to bring 2015 interview is to prove their point on how s8 sucks. now few say zabusa was editor idea like do u guys think editor gave storyboard of that arc or random dreamt an arc of zabuza? where the arc clearly about rouge ninja without emotion which is common for ninjas but showing naruto is different and him taking a different path. if u think its editor came up with his arc then i think the whole naruto is written by his editor not kishi.

I said it was his biggest opportunity, not his only opportunity.

But if I may ask, what makes you so certain that the people who liked those arcs thought the first chapter of Bleach/Dragon Ball was uninteresting? Were those series receiving a lot of hate in the beginning? Because drawing in new fans and regaining readers that dropped the series are two very different things. It seems more likely to me that those two series started growing in popularity because more people learned about their existence, not because all their previous dislikers suddenly decided to give them another try.

You are assuming just as much as I am. WSJ's print circulation in 2001 and DBZ days was way higher than it was right now. If those two series didn't catch on from the first chapter, its probably because the readers of WSJ didn't find it interesting. And chances are when the series got popular, they revisited the series and gave it another shot to jump in on the "hype".

Anyway, my point was as long as your series sticks around decently enough, you'll always have multiple chances to get more people into it.

If hachimaru becomes a very good guy and then suddenly becomes evil as MC under certain circumstances like that of star wars that will definitely blow up its popularity still I don't think it will be as simple it will have much more than that after all its kishimoto behind

As much as I know of Japanese people they ain't much interested in sci fi mangas that much but even knowing so Kishimoto made S8 clearly meaning he has something really big for Samurai 8

i know it has star war influence and i never watched star wars movie but i know few things. i didn't think he will become bad guy but he could have similar thing with ata being Darth vader of s8 him going good to evil side and we know hachimaru was artifical human. so if kishi wants he can make interesting thing like ata seeing hachimaru potential ata can say the iconic thing from star wars " im your father hachimaru" if furata used ata dna to make artificial keys.
