Real talk, should Jump be alarmed that none of their 2019 series is particularly successful so far? None of the newbie impresses, and readers are lukewarm to the anticipated Kishimoto's comeback manga. Meanwhile, two of their most current best sellers are ending soon.
Nope. WSJ is fine. Jujutsu, CSM and Act Age will pick up steam when they have anime. And by then WSJ will have gotten new series that would be popular. It happens all the time.

The ranking for the entire week (09/30-10/06) was also posted showing Samurai 8 below 50th place.
65th for volume 1 and 73rd for volume 2.
According to the estimate 50th is equivalent to 21600 copies sold, so we can expect Samurai 8 out of the top 50 in Oricon with less than 20k sold.

What we should be guessing for is how much SxF will sell this time?

Wow. I... I honestly thought it'd at least make the Oricon charts, at the very least, if not do 40k... If you take out KImetsu no Yaiba's 16 backlog volumes all making it in, Volume 1 would only just barely make the cut...

At least 100k. Maybe even 150k, week one. It seems to already be outselling Black Clover volume to volume with no signs of slowing down.

I don't even remember if there was such a low option in the poll we had... I think it even surpassed my skepticism, I thought it would sell more than this.

As the new poll is up, I will post here the results of the former poll so we can compare to the Oricon results

I went and checked and... no. There was no option for not even making Oricon. Granted, if it wasn't for Yaiba's backlog boosts, I'm betting the 11k-20k crowd would've won bragging rights, but still.

Spy x Family report: volume 1 still at 30th! (also above a couple of Kimetsu's volumes, which is a good sign, I guess?)

Just my take on this, all these incredibly long and boring ass discussions just made me not really care that much anymore, too repetitive, if it sells good enough to Jump let Kishimoto tell his story and maybe get a anime, i'm fine with not being a "big hit" or something like that, since chapter 7 the manga has been really good and keeps getting better so this is what matters to me.

Good to see Samurai 8 rising, if keeps like that it can appear next week at the top 50, the 3 days cut really fucked the manga, it would easily appear if it have more days.

How on earth did that guy received 4 advertisement leaflets just for buying one volume?
Also how hilarious when even Rain overestimated S8 performance. :celebrate

Jump's had a few years without anything sticking (I think 2013 was the most recent) so not really. If they go 2 or 3 years without anything then it's probably time to worry.

Well, there was, nothing makes the top 50 selling 5k-10k in Jump volumes release week.

2013 had World Trigger and Isobe Isobee Monogatari, the last year that Jump had nothing new sticking was 2010 (Despite Enigma surviving for 1 year)
