YUUUUUURRRRRRRRRR CHAINSAWMAN COVER? LETS GOOOO

It's kinda fanny that SxF and JJK already surpass BC.
Shueisha dominates the Top 10 with The Top 8 being Weekly Shonen Jump/Jump+ titles
Oricon Weekly Series Top 10 (30/9 - 6/10)
One Piece
Kimetsu no Yaiba
The Promised Neverland
SPY×FAMILY
Jujutsu Kaisen
Shokugeki no Soma
Black Clover
Gotouge Koyoharu's Short Story Collection
Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai
Kingdom
In what world is selling 1,2 million copies in 3 days low?one piece sells are very low imo
KNY will overtake it in the coming weeks
This is Oricon Weekly Series Top 10 (30/9 - 6/10). BC is below JJK because of backlog.Wait a moment.
The first day Jujutsu was higher than BC as well as Soma, but in the following days Black CLover surpassed both.
I wouldn't be surprised if Black CLover gets higher next week.
To say, this is the Shoseki chart of 6th ( the third day of sales):
1. One Piece # 94
2. Kimetsu no Yaiba # 17
3. The Promised Neverland # 16
4. Spy x Family # 2
5. Black Clover # 22
6. Koyoharu Gotouge Short Stories
7. Shokugeki no Soma # 36
8. Jujutsu Kaisen # 7
9. Boruto # 9
11. Chainsawman # 4
13. Yuuna # 18
27. My Hero Academia Data Book
35. Hinomaru Sumo # 27
36. Samurai 8 # 1
40. Samurai 8 # 2
and of 7 (fourth day):
1. One Piece # 94
2. The Promised Neverland # 16
3. Kimetsu no Yaiba # 17
4. Spy x Family # 2
5. Black Clover # 22
6. Shokugeki no Soma # 36
7. Jujutsu Kasien # 7
8. Boruto # 9
28. Chainsawman # 4
32 Yuuna # 18
33. Spy x Family # 1
51. Samurai 8 # 1
53. Hinomaru Sumo # 27
58. Samurai 8 # 2
Well yes the big promotion but the small sale is a bad thing...........Two questions:
I think Shueisha was hoping that Naruto Fanbase would turnout in larger numbers, but 5 going on 6 years inbetween publications is too long imho. Especially with the amount of good series that popped up between S8 and Naruto that exploded. Maybe if S8 came out in the same span that Edens Zero came out after Fairy Tale, this conversation may have been extremely different.
- If S8 was done by a rookie Mangaka, with less promotion, would the potential sales be a good thing? Hell, even with the same promotion?
- If S8 gets axed relatively soon, do you think Kishimoto is gonna bat a third time or just retire?
Hell, even Boruto didn’t benefit from the Naruto fanbase all that much. It’s only as high up as it is due to being apart of the Franchise. The retelling killed alot of its momentum too but I personally still love it.
I don’t level all the blame at Kishi. At worst, he can only be blamed for 2 things: (1)Delivering a story with themes the core audience that Shueisha cares about aren’t interested in and (2)Being preachy in the first couple chepters.
While that is a BIG part of the problem along with Info dumps, Shueisha gassing it up with all that promotion drew more attention to it and drive away more readers. I was optimistic but it seems Kishi + Shueisha as a whole, fumbled S8.
I like it alot, but if it cannot last, I hope Kishi gives 1 last shot at manga making. I just gotta prepare for the worst case scenario.
I think he just trolled. In what world is selling 1,2 million copies in 3 days low?
Considering the blackness of Black Clover these days I expect that the week ahead will surpass it.This is Oricon Weekly Series Top 10 (30/9 - 6/10). BC is below JJK because of backlog.
JJK backlog is much better than BCs even without an anime, at JJk's current pace itll overtake BC for sure next volumeConsidering the blackness of Black Clover these days I expect that the week ahead will surpass it.
Interesting conspiracy theory, but I don't think Kishimoto is the one who decides on the advertising.Well yes the big promotion but the small sale is a bad thing...........
BBUUUTTTT
Strategically this huge promotion is both a boon and a Bane. Here let me break it down for you -
The big advertisement, interviews and pamplets together would have costed more than a 100 million yen and let's say the sales of both the volumes are 30k which would any to around 15 million yen and this is not including the ongoing manga expenses so usually if the series performs just like this forever it would have been axed by volume 5-6 , but the company won't axe it by then in case of samurai 8 because of that HEAVY PROMOTION, since the company won't be taking such a huge loss(promotion costs + ongoing costs) so as to minimize this lose they have to continue it as long as the heavy promotion cost has been earned so till that there extends the time of the manga which gives kishi the time he wanted cause if you remember from what he said from the very beginning "Introducing a new type of manga would be very tough and the information dump would be making the readers bored(which is actually happening as he predicted) so I would like the readers to have some patience so that I can make something really extraordinary" But deep down he knew that the readers won't be that patient , but this promotion cost will give him the time he needed for what he wanted to do so by this it will be a turning point of the series and all these if we consider that the series just does as bad for future volumes like now but it isn't the case since the recent chapters of kishimoto have been really interesting and many new people are interested in it so yes........ It was all a mastermind strategy from the very beginning.
Hope it helps.
Please be a dream sequenceWe have a "jump in time" of several years at the end of the chapter. We find Hinata, which we see from behind, riding a bike in Brazil.

We will see, but yeah, Jujutsu can still improve.JJK backlog is much better than BCs even without an anime, at JJk's current pace itll overtake BC for sure next volume

We need to see the volume chart when it comes out, they will still be close to sales at a numerical level. Black Clover will probably be over even in this week's oriconJJK backlog is much better than BCs even without an anime, at JJk's current pace itll overtake BC for sure next volume
Wow, I think I'm even more surprised by Mitama getting two chapters in next issue than Yozakura being in Top 5 (even though ther wasn't a One Piece chapter this week to take one spot)!

I don't read Haikyuu but My Hero Academia definitively isn't ending with this upcoming arc. It's probably just a bigger arc to end the first year and solve some loose plots like the traitor. So:
-Neverland is ending in 2020
-Kimetsu should be ending in 2020 or 2021
-Haikyuushould be ending also in late 2020 or 2021 (I really hope so)with its final arc starting
-My Hero Academiaand could be ending in 2021 or 2022.is starting to give also vibes of entering in a possible final arc
Will 2022 be the destined year for Black Clover to enter in an Oricon yearly top-10?
you trolling right?, lmaoSo:
