:yodawg U19 is about politics.

Jokes aside i don't think the current demographics care about politics lol, so i don't think it will be a hit.
Why? Politics can start in school, Gin no saji became a hit and that's about agriculture. Kingdom has the best politics I've seen on a manga and that's great, if you watched the drama Change by takuya kimura that also is great, im saying we got alot of themes now in manga that I will take a more niche than the popular ones.

In the next Jump GIGA run they'll forego any pretence and just call it Jump EPILOGUE.

Of the current roster, I feel like Neverland's the main series that might 'finish' in time for it, but to me it feels like there's still half an arc left. Maybe Haikyuu too since I've no idea what it's planning to do next.

could also have something like a Kimetsu no Yaiba Gaiden chapter in each issue, Kimetsu's certainly big enough now for that to be a selling point.

Kamio Yui is clearly not ending in this round, and with the Dr. Stone spinoff taking a spot i think they will just cancel the 3 newbies and start 3 new series.

About what Shonen Jump needs, as always a mystery/detective manga, i think they need to try a new basket manga too and i would like to see Jump trying a delinquent manga again (Tamuraaaa), Tokyo Revengers is selling quite well on Shonen Magazine so there's no "outdated" excuse for it, you just need a good author and story.
True. Mystery manga bomb hard, so when Tpn ends. We need an new mystery manga
--- Double Post Merged, , Original Post Date: ---

I honestly don’t know what other route Neverland could have gone though. Like, did people expect a bunch of children to defeat human eating demons with brain power?
Ikr. Y'all cant lie that goldy pond was the second best arc after the escape.

if the writer, wrote the development how norman escaped & emma exploring the demon rather than them being on the look out. Imagine a color page about norman escape or gonna and gilda exploring the demon world

the manga overall would feel more complete and with more suspense

We need a new series for a few genres really

- Soma and Zumou ended, and Haikyuu's probably ending soon, so we need a new sports series
- WNL and Yuuna probably both don't have too long left so we'll need a new romcom soon
- Neverland and Dr Stone have solved all their mysteries (and Neverland's probably ending soon) so we need a new mystery manga
- and for gag stuff we've got Mitama which just started but there's no guarantee it'll stick

we're fine on fighting and adventure but other genres will need some new hits soon.
Drstone hasn't solve all their mystery... -_-;

Has there been any release time revealed for that beyond 2020? Because I'm moving to Japan in March and it'd be cool to get to see that in the cinema right after moving.

Speaking of GIGA, not sure if the Jump extra chapters from Summer vol3 were posted already:

The oneshot that stood out the most for me was:

I'm so so so so curious to see GIGA new batch covers, since this time there isn't a central theme of a Jump title ending there (Gintama first, Shokugeki then).

Another tennis manga would be great especially with Naomi Osama and Kei Nishikori being among the top players in the world right now.
But I'd love to see another adventure battle series along the lines of Toriko/One Piece. Something that's fun.

I just hope it will have more personality than The Prince of Tennis (haven't seen Shin, but I heard it's worse so). Having read first 20 chapters or so, it feels so...soulless to me. Doesn't help it's over-focused on the (edgy OP) main character that is very unlikable to me. It knows to be entertaining I guess, but I think it lacks something. Baby Steps was way more enjoyable for me.

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but eh.

Just poach Hikaru Katsuki from Magazine and let them do a Baby Steps clone without cancelling it before the author wants to end :cheez

Samon never escaped the 30k club
Saiki volumes only managed to hit 100k while still on Oricon 50 a few times
neither were big hits
That may be true, but I was talking about them more from a perspective that they were super fun and enjoyable reads. I don't think I was ever disappointed with any of their chapters. I just want WSJ to have a new comedy series that could capture the type of humor these 2 utilized and have sales decent enough to survive

So this is just like those Sun Rock Ken spin-offs Bouchi did that were completely pointless and felt like stuff he only did in his spare time. Dr. Stone surely isn't popular enough to warrant a spin-off so this must be all on him.

I wonder if Dr.Stone will be able to reach the 3 million numbers with both manga :3c

Now more seriously, expect the spinoff to be released with volume 15 in March.

EDIT: Doing mental maths, Dr.Stone spinoff final chapter would be in issue 5-6, so in issue 7 we are having empty slot for new serialization or for oneshots.

Something like Baby step but with more focus in the female matches would be nice.

Ok guys, since is One Piece 20th anniversary and we are entering in a new page I wanted to ask all of you this:

When (if) you started reading One Piece manga in a weekly basis, what was happening in the story then?

I recall I picked One Piece manga just at the final chapters of Ennies Lobby.
