These epic characters - Rana, Karna, and Arjuna felt a bit flat to me. And some of the story set up was repeated in Camelot with the 3 sides and Camelot did it better.

Bel's got less than a month. In order to save Christmas she's going to have to make some executive decisions. You can miss E Pluribus Unum. You really can't miss Camelot. Mash forbids it. I think everyone can agree on that. And Babylonia is my favorite singularity to date, so I can't in good conscience tell Bel to skip that either. Though I guess you could maybe cheese that by watching the anime. At least the early chapters.

I hate the fact that the text is provided in two lines, even though there is no animation whatsoever. In these type of games, the text has to cover the whole screen. This endless tapping on the screen drives me nuts, especially when you accidentally tap too fast and skip some text which you haven't fully read. It's one of the worst points in the game for me.

I know your not used to this but I was agreeing with you Syx; at least about the text format.

That said, I think the devils advocate here would say that adding more text to the screen would obscure the character art more than they want. Which is I guess an argument that can be made.

I think text on the whole screen is ugly, so at least give us the option to choose between both types if it happens.

Also can´t believe how FUCKING LONG it took for them to add subtitles to the np..while still letting ascension lines...sigh

Anyway on the singularities

-Fuyuki: Ok start, love cu caster 7/10
-Orleans: meh, they should´ve used all of those servants better. And maybe made the dragons lancers so Siegfried could shine as the history told us he would. 6/10
-Rome: I love nero so i am partially to blame here, but I have never re-read it again but I liked it. Boudica being nice to NERO is shitty as fuck. Why isnt Romulus a 5 star. 7/10
-Okeanus: Made me feel like Argonauts and seeing Asterius using that Streght Rank A+ to grapple with heracles was cool, and Jason is a great antagonist. Not sure what mary and anne were doing. Use of the box from David to kill Heracles was great lore. 8/10
-London: So slooooooooooooooooow. Has Sherlock. 5/10
-MURICA: Best one of the first five. Cu Alter is the best I always hoped he would be. Great to see how Arjuna power level was shown to be on par with his canon legend. 8/10
-Camelot: I really like it and I think the movie will make it my favorite singularity, but it does not get a perfect ten because of all those fucking "hey let me test u" assassin fights that just paded the content. Ozymandias is awesome.

As a fan of Sherlock Holmes, and being accompained by two top tier waifus all the time AND getting to dance with Jalter + Cute Dog + that final detectives NP, I can only give this a flat out ten

What the fuck even is this shit. Just the small life lesson at the end with Fergus was good. 2/10 can totally skip everything

Suffered from the same problems as Camelot to me, in that it paded its content way too much. You could totallly remove FakeTama and FakeKyohime and the story would´ve gone way smoother. Also they took Hozuin way too early and getting to stay just with Musashi for over 6 Swordsman fights was a bit boring. The ending, however, is a piece of art. Overall I´d rate this separatelly, with the monster of the week part with the swordsman being a 3/10 for me, and the final part against the Empireo+Ama+Caster Limbo and MURAMASA gets a 8.5/10

For me it's

Fuyuki - 7/10 seems right
More of a prologue than anything. And when you package all that together it's a pretty strong start.

Orleans - 4/10
It's just not a very good story. Feel like they didn't quite have a handle on what a mobile game visual novel fusion should look like I suppose. Far to many stages for the amount of story there is too.

Rome - 5/10
A slight improvement. Nero really steps in as a support protagonist which helped a lot. Still too much grind for not enough story though.

Okeanus - 7/0
The first true singularity I thought was good. Drake and Blackbeard were such fun characters. And there was less grind per the amount of story. It was also just overall more of a fun sea adventuring tale.

London - 5/10
Even Moedred couldn't really save this. It was the return of the "To many stages for not enough story" problem. It did end fairly strong though, it just took too long to get there. Also far too many characters in there like Babbage and Jekyll who just aren't my flavor.

America - 4/10
It's just keeps going... far too long. Liz is great. As are the inventors. It just doesn't come together as a story very well, IMO.

Camelot - 9/10
A lot more effort went into this than anything that came before it. And it shows. It really delivered with it's Knight of the Round table arc with big moments that actually feel big.

Babylonia - 10/10
This is the epic fantasy Fate arc. I loved all the characters and most of them have some emotional arc they go through, it's just got so much to offer.


The last arc in the first season of FGO I don't really want to rate because it's not a full Singularity really. More of an epic boss fight.


With the season 1.5 stuff..

Shinjuku - 7/10
It's not as good as it should have been. Really don't know what they were thinking having both Jalter and Salter together and not having the story built around them. But even as side characters they elevate the arc a from average to good.

Agartha - 6/10
It's fine. Lot of Fergus jokes which I enjoyed. Would have been better with Blackbeard though. Good cast overall. The story just didn't feel well realized.

Shimosa - 8/10
Musashi. Musashi. And more Musashi. That's not a bad thing. Great ending too. Didn't really make good use of many of the supporting cast. Kind of a waste of Raikou and Shuten unfortunately. Did do fun things with Tamamo and Kiyohime though, which I enjoyed.

I probably enjoyed it more then I normally would have due to viewing the FSN anime at the same time.

Orleans - 4/10
Story was lackluster, but it involved some of my favorite characters.

Can't say that the story improved much, seems like they had the beginning and end set but wasn't sure how to connect the two.

Okeanus - 5/0
Story was good, though I wish the other Argonauts played a bigger role.

London - 6/10
Beginning was great, but the ending seem to end randomly.

America - 8/10
The first storyline I would say was good throughout. Also the appearance of my favorite girl, Helena!

Camelot - 8/10
Storywise was awesome, though the inclusion of the Hassans didn't really seem to be explain. The most annoying bosses.

Babylonia - 10/10
Obviously the best story, and has become even better seeing it in animation. Ushiwaka deserves all the head pats!

Shinjuku - 7/10
Pretty cool storyline, but not as mystery base as I would have expected.

I feel like this story could have been a little better with some more focus.

Great story, but wish we had more focus on more then just Miyamoto.

The ember gathering being half cost is making grinding real easier. Gotten all but my newest servants up to lv70. And finally managed to get another Ishtar, but no luck with Okita. This close to Salem, just gonna wait for Okita's next rate up.

Kinda. They just give you a damage bonus. I don't think you NEED a high bond level but a max bond servant does double damage.
