I think he cant use invisibility against Crocodile because of the sandstorm which allows Crocodile to easily detect where he is.
I think Crocodile is physically stronger. I am assuming his hook can pierce the suit and poison Sanji. The sand blade that cut the desert should be deadly and that move that cut Akainu in half.
Not sure if Crocoboi can drain water from Sanji's body through the suit, I think not.
Sanji should be faster but not sure how relevant it is for a stationary combatant like Crocoboi.
Considering that Smoker-kun has CoA hardening I am assuming Crocoboi has it too.

It's interesting match-up but I will give the victory to former Shichibukai, considering that I place Smoker slightly above Sanji and Crocoboi should be stronger than Smoker, easily.

I actually feel like this is a really good match up for both. It would long... drawn out... and the type of fight that has substance behind him. My arguements are severalfold:

Strengths
Sanji: Speed, CoA, CoO
Crocodile: DF Mastery

Weaknesses
Sanji: physical strength (see Sanji vs P1 clash)
Crocodile: Once his DF's weakness is exploited he is open to strong physical blows, CoA

In a match between the 2, Crocodile is susceptible to blitz's (seen vs Luffy/Jozu) so Sanji far an away has the upper hand against a stationary opponent like Crocodile who relies heavily on his DF to attack offensively.

Where Haki is condemned, there is no proof that Crocodile even has Haki. He has never displayed it so we cant assume (even for arguements sake) that he does have it. There nothing to back up that claim. Where as Sanji has displayed use of CoA and Hardening (anime only). Even if we removed hardening, basic CoA is enough to touch him.

As for endurance/ resilience, Sanji's raid suit vastly increases his ability to take in damage and likewise, Crocodile took Diamond Jozu's point blank Brilliant Punk attack without any lasting damage (odd considering Crocodile was defeated by no haki, no gear 2, gatling gun from Luffy) A named attack from Diamond Jozu should far and away be much stronger than anything Luffy could dish out back then. Either way, Crocodile's resilience to pain is impressive.

Like stated, Crocodiles sand could nullify Sanji's invisibility but Sanji has shown that he doesnt need invisibility to speed blitz opponent.

Also take into account that flames vs sand gives Sanji the edge as well. Diablo Jamble could realistically be just as much as a weakness as blood or water is to sand (depending on the heat of the flames)

Taking all this into account. I'm going to say this battle would take the better part of several hours and end in a Sanji victory (Extreme Difficulty)

It's not that odd, Luffy's physical strenght, from the start has been insane. With the Gears, he brought Magellan to his knees, someone who is as powerful as the endgame Shiryu (actually even stronger due to his DF as the Vivre Card book implies).

Also, Jozu might have held back on purpose. One doesn't need to think twice to realize Crocodile's chances of taking Whitebeard's head were rather slim, and Crocodile would be forced to join the Pirates side rather sooner than later. Just like it happened.

As for the fight, Crocodile wins because Sanji doesn't hurt women xD

Realistically it's hard to say. Crocodile obviously wins if he get's a hit in with the poison hook. But there's only Sanji's face as a target for that, as I don't think the fragile hook can pierce the Raid Suit.

Sanji can fly, and with the Raid Suit's accelerators possibly even in a sandstorm. So no pitfalls or Ground Secco/Death for Crocodile, which seriously weakens his kit.

I do think Crocodile can absorb moisture through and from the suit though. He can absorb moisture from all kinds of things and I don't think the Raid Suits are Devil Fruit proof. Anyways his moisture absorbation only makes sense in manga.

Sanji has surpassed the level Crocodile was pre TS..Wit Haki Sanji would put a hurting on Crocodile..As for Post Time Skip. Who knows..Crocodile wasnt weak or isnt suppose to be. He was just introduced too early, & as Shounen manga dictates the bad guys afterwards are supposed to be much much stronger. But remember Crocodiles bounty was frozen once he became a Warlord, So he's actually 100k+ threat..

As much as i love crocobooooy and am skeptical of sanji, i would still give it to the cakebaker.

Crocos attacks are most ground based and Sanji is fast enough to avoid being hit by his twister. So jeah, Sanji wins mid diff in my book and only mid diff because we didnt see if his ranged attacks can be haki imbued, so he must get close to dish out damage. But then its a matter of 1-2 real kicks.

Current Sanji is faster than alabasta Luffy, arguably even faster than gear 2nd luffy.

He is strong enough to Lift a cake of a few hundred kilos casually with one leg. He stopped a haki genie Spear swing with one leg too.

Suit gives him increased durability and flight boost.

Sanji strenght should at least be on par with pre time skip luffy.

Diable jambe would be useless as even Akainu level of heat didnt phase croco chan.

He has observation haki and armament too, the real problem for luffy back then was hitting crocoboy once he could do that it was over.
Sanji can hit croco from the start.

However, Crocodile can hide in the sand, has large scale attacks, sharp attacks that could potentially damage the suit and once it is he has his deadly poison.

This is basically Gaara vs Rocklee 2.0 but I give it to Sanji extreme difficulty.

Probably an low-diffed or maybe a mid-diffed, but on low lvls. Sanji will get an easy win even without RS as so far looking at Crocodile's capabilities, Sanji can easily get around them. Not disrespecting Crocodile, but see it pretty easy for Sanji. He isn't the same from pre-timeskip, so don't get why you all think Crocodile will pose that much threat to him when it's not that much.

Idk of Post-Timeskip of Crocodile, but if he is in the NW deeply, then he should probably know Haki, but doubt it be superior to more as that be guessing. Still see it more win of Sanji on both sides no doubt.

As much as i want Croco-boy to be relevant and to be a badass, he just lacks feats. We dn't know what he's worth in the New World, we only have his Alabasta feats / Marineford. Heck, even in Marineford we haven't seen much at all aside from tanking Jozu's punch. Which is alright but yeah.
His durability in Alabasta was laughable compared to current standards, he has zero speed feats.
That's a stomp to be honest. Sanji low diff in my book. I want to believe Crocodile got better and will be a decent threat, so i'm willing to say high diff for Sanji? But if we don't make asumptions and try to make Crocodile better than what he's shown, really it's a low diff fight for Sanji right now.
AND Sanji can use Raid Suit? Yeaah... No contest at all right now. Croco-boy, show yourself and prove me wrong.

sanji gets ragdolled by crocodile. Crocodile is retconned to be on the same ballpark as doflamingo. Sanji was no-diffed by doflamingo

Give me proof from manga that sanji beats ivankov or take the L.
He stated he needs to beat all the masters on island to get their recipes. He is one of them and thus Sanji beaten Ivankov. It's heavily implied.

Nope, ivankov is not the okama master, his skill relies on his DF. Give me proof that ivankov says he is also one of the recipe holders.

Someone as strong as Doffy would never, ever have lost to Alabasta Luffy.

Given that Luffy fought against Croc when Haki was at max a concept just imagine a fight between luffy and doffy without their hakimastery.

Doflamingo was probably just toying with Crocodile to try and recruit him. No need to read too much into it.

Crocodiles strength was clearly retconned post Alabasta

Doffy would have beheaded him had he chosen to use haki when he hit him to get his attention, showing that Doffy wasn't actually trying to hurt him, then Doffy defends quite easily against Croc's attack.

He successfully made Mihawk shift his attention from Luffy though, which is progress. I prefer to think that Impel Down was responsible for that progress, since Daz Bones also made progress, and Buggy, and Mr 2 and Mr 3 as well. Prison is a tough place to be.

I wouldn't say it was retconned. But the perspective of his strength and abilities he's actually more capable than Oda intended him to be at that point in the story. Croc's bounty was frozen at 80k. & Luffy went up to 100k & had many events therefore after which pushed him to 300k. I think Croc was more of a 200k threat..He didn't go uninjured during the paramount war like Boa or Mihawk. So he's not that strong.

Sanji wins tho. In a very long fight imo. Sanji takes this high diff imo with no suit and mid diff with the raid suit. I think Croc manuverability and skills would pose a threat to Sanji and give him difficulty in securing critical hits. Still I think the vinsmoke is adequate enough in haki, while croc hasnt shown any,. Even without the suit, I think Sanji can injure Croc more than Croc can endure, before he's able to take Sanji out.

That was also when haki feats were choppy at best. Vista and Marco used haki to hit Akainu and it should have hurt his real body, but he was still able to ignore the damage. That ignores everything we know about haki
