Uhh I just want to ask. What do these votes mean (sorry for being so ignorant) And what's it's for. BC is being done dirty when ever I see someone post these twitter votes here.

The new MH poll is up. I decided to arrange the series by oldest to youngest for the time being.

Almost sure Kamio Yui will have a extra chapter, probably in the last volume because seriously, what the hell is this "final chapter"? I cant believe Nakano (and editors) did this to Shiibashi while TSS and Beast Children are doing fillers for the last 2/3 weeks, ffs even 1 more chapter would help, will not be surprised at the least if Shiibashi is done with Weekly Shonen Jump after this, is super obvious he wasnt planning the last chapter to be this rushed.

At the moment i only read Yui, gonna read the others later...

I thought that Double Taisei actually wrapped up quite nicely. There really weren't any loose ends left dangling, you knew what everyone was up to, and the twist at who was narrating the entire chapter was actually quite well-executed.

Yui's ending, on the other hand, was incredibly rough. The last few pages were nice, but that chapter was going 100 mph at the beginning

Mitama and Yozakura had great chapters this week. Hoping they continue like this.

I thought that Double Taisei actually wrapped up quite nicely. There really weren't any loose ends left dangling, you knew what everyone was up to, and the twist at who was narrating the entire chapter was actually quite well-executed.

There is actually for Taisei : the mysterious figure early on, likely being Tendo's dad, and I am going to assume Fukuda planned something as to how Tai and Sei came, remember Ch.1 Lead Color Page? How did the babies' personalities merge when one died? Pretty sure there was some implied supernatural thing going on, but it never got to be explored.

Problem is that Taisei doesn't have much loose ends because the proper wrap-up already happened last week. It's just that I prefer the happy and hopeful ending to it. I disliked the twist honestly, even though I could have never seen it coming.

The best chapter this week for me has been Miitama. Very cute and very funny and enjoyable chapter.

Yozakura Family has also had a very good and cute chapter.

Yui and Taisei end have both of them been pretty strange. And while TSS feels is ending, Beast Children doesn't give that sensation.

He managed to pull off an acceptable ending in those last few pages, but I definitely agree that I think he thought he'd have a bit more time to finish than this. Even not starting the title page until the middle of the chapter felt like those were meant to be two different chapters.

I considered pointing that out as the one loose end untouched, in I decided against it since in the end, the story still feels complete without exploring it. Plus, since it was barely even touched upon, I'd say it's an incredibly minor mystery left unsolved. Between this week's and last week's chapters, I'm incredibly satisfied with how it ended. It felt like happy endings all around to me.

The best chapter this week for me has been Miitama. Very cute and very funny and enjoyable chapter.

Mitama has been really on a roll lately. These past few chapters have been an excellent combination of comedy, backstory, and new character development. I'm pleasantly surprised that this is the direction the series seems to be taking.

I wasn't really sure of Yozakura until now but this week chapter was really good. Growing attached to this series. Mitama on another hand got me since the since the beginning and today's chapter was another great one lmao.

When I make my votes, artwork is definitely taken into consideration, but the chapter's plot is typically the main factor that decides my vote each week. While the art was intricate, the chapter's plot was not that stellar, and several other series I was reading really knocked it out of the park last week (Double Taisei, Mitama, Act-Age were my top three last week since they had excellent chapters).
