Just like OP has day 0 sometimes. The search for KNY's volumes was so big that they started selling it the day before, so KNY will have a 6 day week this time, while everyone else will have 5.
I don't think any slots were available, but yeah it's more of a morning/afternoon show. It would probably have fared better had it not been a night show.
We're talking about volumes and in Japan, not leaked chapters that Japanese fans don't care about. That is a whole different case.

Well, all of KNY's volumes are going 1 million next week. Definitely wasn't expecting volumes 9 and 10 to reach 1 million this week but wow this is another huge week. 1.2 million this time which means KNY is already well above 2 million for 2020. Next week we'll probably see another 1 million week. Boy, the yearly charts this year will be fire.
Looks like most people have shifted from reading the volumes immediately where the anime leaves off, 7 to 9 IIRC, to the season 2 arcs 10 to 12 ish. At this rate I wonder if the backlog will last a few weeks per every few volumes and drop off in 3 months or so (as in it will stabilize at the series peak and growth will stop there).
And the boost keeps getting bigger and bigger instead of slowing down...that’s crazy
