WG tried to execute him in impel Down but they soon realized that he had modified his body, this obviously sparked some interest from the Gorosei and after a friendly chat they officially pardoned him.
But the truth is that he's still a prisoner, and they threathen to make his homeland disappear the exact moment he tries to escape from his golden cage.

Ok, here is what I have as my current theory regarding.... life, the universe and everything.

A while back oda finally gave us the romanization of raftel: Laugh tale. Frankly, I think this is the only actual clue regarding what one piece is about. The rest of the stuff we have are just hints which can't be put together to actually decipher stuff. So here is my theory;

The first bit of context here is that the world government actually tries to big brother the entire world and to some extent succeeds. As in, they try to take information and remove it altogether. But... if you think about it, there is some stuff which would simply be impossible to completely remove. You might destroy the evidence and the things which give it meaning and context but they still might survive as legends. And that is where the terms laugh tale and one piece come in... They are terms which survived the history purge. But in turn were reduced to mere legends.

So then... the question... what where they originally? Laugh tale and one piece... My theory here is basically... something like "one piece is the final poneglyph hidden in laugh tale". Laugh tale, a story. That makes a crapton of sense with a poneglyph since what they basically do is tell stories. Alternatively I also think its possible that "One Piece is the poneglyph that tells the tales of laughs" or something to that effect. And this is the reason oda took so fucking long to reveal what "raftel" was. Because its an actual meaningful clue towards the end of the story.

And a few more thoughts: We know oden is an important character in the story. BUT I think he might actually be THE most important character in the story after luffy. We know the kozuki have a long history which ties to the poneglyphs and the origins of the world government. They even know how to read them. What i am thinking here is that oden isn't just a strong guy who knew about the past... i think he is the actual trigger to the story's plot. he is where the whole of the current manga started with. Oden is someone who left wano not knowing what was outside but in turn because he is a kozuki who inherited everything from his father he definitely knows a lot about the past. So in leaving, seeing pirates and meeting whitebeard and roger... I think he could have been the reason roger even embarked on his final voyage. And thus, is the entirety of the reason there is a plot.

I know where the Laugh Tale is. It's inside Florian Triangle.

The catches are these: 1) we took for granted Florian Triangle without knowing what kind of islands surrounding the are; 2) in kanji, Florian Triangle was written as 魔の三角地帯 (or Zone of Demonic Triangle)... which highly coincides that probably the "demon" refers to Celestian Dragon's natural enemy; 3) it's the last region before the first half of Grand Line.

Now, Laugh Tale is supposed to be located in the middle of four coordinates of four Road Poneglyphs, but (please correct me, Math Professors) geometrically speaking three coordinates are enough to pinpoint a location, and the fourth point won't change the location significantly. So why does it important for the fourth Road Poneglyphs? It's either because of: 1) the fourth spot was under the sea or upon the sky or 2) the fourth Poneglyph does not tell about the location but the time where Laugh Tale would be revealed. Either way, I am thinking that the fourth Poneglyph will link Laugh Tale to the moon, whether it is the location or the specific phase of the moon. Hence we see many allusions to the moon in Wano (Kouzuki, Shimotsuki, Amatsuki). That would match the fact that the Minks await the dawn, because after the moon reaches a specific time, dawn will break. Laugh Tale is the dawn.

I know this is so farfetched... but if I am wrong, when Luffy finally possess three Road Poneglyphs, I am sure a little hint of Laugh Tale location will be featured.

The Kurozumi clan represents the sun, while the other clan represent moons.

I know this sounds weird since Kurozumi means charcoal.

But this has something to do with Japanese religious sects. I have found one who shares symbols with the Kozuki (have shared this somewhere here already, need to find it again) and another named Kurozumisomething founded by a Kurozumi dude who believed he had a union with Amaterasu.

Still need to flesh this out but it fits greatly with my other findings about the meta behind One Piece. Probably going to post more tomorrow.

Supposedly it refers to 4 different places, and the intersection between is where Raftel is.

If it was only 3 places, it would leave a triangle-shaped region, but not one specific location.

Episodes 914 and 915 of the anime were like this because of Oda's advice, so the episodes were not "merely stretched", but they were actually a better insight into the story:
The only thing that Luffy needs to beat Kaido is the advanced use of Armament Haki, and while Kaido has a black aura, Luffy's is still reddish and flickering

I actually prefered the anime version of Luffy vs Kaido than the manga.

The manga made Kaido in dragon form useless while the anime showed how strong and fast he was for his size, Kaido's finisher made even more sense in the anime than the manga, very good fight.
