I think Chainsaw Man having a anime this early it would be a sign of disaster, probably a rushed anime adaptation or something by Pierrot/Toei.

Still surprises me that they didnt give Takeshi an anime at the time OP/HxH got one. It could've been one of the biggest comedy hits imo.

My only guess as to why was that no animation studio at the time could figure out a way to emulate Shimabukuro's very crude artstyle in a way that satisfied him.

Shimabu was a newbie at the time so I doubt he'd be that picky and reject an anime over a reason like that. His artstyle isnt hard to emulate lol.

So Jump Festa is in 2-3 days (depending in which timezone is everyone), what expectations/hopes/wishes you all have for this year?

Personally I hope we get the trailer of the Kimetsu movie with a confirmation date, the same with the Gintama movie or atleast a glimpse that they still havent forgotten of it.
Hope that MAPPA isnt the studio for Jujutsu Kaisen.

I don't know, honestly, just announcements in general is good to me. lol But probably a live-action for Act-Age, which I think would be fantastic for the series not only as a work but in boosting the series.

Yeah, relevant announcements are probably for 2020, with an anime in 2021. But with how it goes, I wouldn't be surprised if they somehow announce it there.

That was later, the manga itself got canned becuase of that in 2002. They are talking earlier, like 1999-2000.

Issue 4-5 will drop the 23rd, then Issue 6-7 drops January 6th, then everything goes back to normal Jan 20th.

That's a really great cover, Emma and Asta looks more like a extension of the "big 4" there, Yuuji is much bigger than the last one but still more in the line with Denji, Yuuna and Yonagi (You can argue that Hachimaru is the same size as her)

About the toc, nothing much surprising, Mitama got back to the bottom as i expected, Black Clover back to the top and the one shot for the next issue looks interesting, good art.
