Though there have been 21 series in the past, right? Did that happen a lot or only occasionally?

I remember it happened once, and they axed one some issues after to bring it down to 20 again.

They would only do 21 if they plan to either remove Samurai 8 in case Vol 3 sales crumble thus the push to another magazine/axe, or if Neverland is ending soon.

That doesn't count, since Boruto was a monthly series that had it's own place separate from the rest. You can notice that nothing replaced Boruto when it left.

It's was never the part of the weekly line-up (which was always 20+). Again, Shueisha never replaced it with anything. It was part of the overall line-up, but it never took any of the main spots.

I am more curious about the Boruto-less 21 series moment (or 22 with Boruto overall)

It doesn't matter, it was a manga part of the official line up having a chapter every month, by this logic i wouldn't count Hunter x Hunter even when it comes back because is just 10 chapters in 1/2 years, this "Boruto doesn't count because it was monthly or because it wasnt replaced" doesn't make sense.

I wonder how that affect Yozakura Family. I like the manga and I hope it doesn't die (it already is in the bottom serving as Samurai 8 cushion). I am also still waiting for the chapters regarding Fuutaba (the loli eldest sister) and Nanao (the youngest brother, the big guy with his head on a cube). So I'm scared about this stuff of "Yozakura Family is getting new development next week".

Also this promotion feels odd to me for two reasons:
-Yozakura Family uncertain situation
-Very high possibility of new series in literally 4 or 5 issues.

PD: Usually newcomers get their volume 1 when they are by chapter 12, aren't they? Seems Yozakura Family volume 1 is going to be released when the manga is going to be in like chapter 25 wtf

We don't know for sure yet. It's certainly possible, since after Stone reboot ends we'll have three slots free, and I don't know how long WSJ can fill all three slots with one shots and special chapters and stuff. As of now though, there hasn't been any official announcement to that effect.

Gonna have to do a post in this later but the entitlement of this Artur fellow is downright sickening. Pretty soon he's going to demand the story ideas from Oda as soon as they enter Oda's mind. Just sickening. These brahs just can't admit that they want free manga, whenever they want it, all the time, without them having to do anything.

The translation reason is exactly why i don't like to read the official One Piece translation, everytime i read "Zolo" or other kind of dumb localisation it hurts my soul, so i just read the brazillian scan that is very good (OPEX)

But overall, posting a blog about this topic shouldn't be allowed in this thread since posting personal twitters isn't too, specially if it's to try paint someone in a bad way, the person that consumes One Piece in most official ways that the can
