I want to write profanities loL! That's how excited I'm for Dai No Daiboken's remake, it was always a mystery to me (and many others) how a series that by all means should have been profitable was cut by Toei with only like 52 episodes...
Hopefully this isn't a Hoshin Engi scenario where the remake kinda sucked...Hopefully this is an entire adaptation.. I don't know why but I think the studio that did Jojo and Captain Tsuabasa is doing it.. Like maybe they are trying to speciallize in doing remakes of old series (Hopefully they are the studio, they do good work).
Also love how every year or two we are getting like remakes of old anime, e.g. Jojo, Captain Tsubasa and now Dai No Daiboken, even outside Jump with titles like Parasyte, Ushio to Tora, Banana Fish, Devilman (Though this one was more like a re-imagining rather than an adaptation, though it was awesome) it's exciting that even old titles are getting anime adaptations/remakes...
This begs the question, how can one of Jump biggest sellers doesn't have a complete adaptation? (Slam Dunk).. Surely there's money to be made doing a complete remake of it?
Also outside Jump I would love to see a Sanctuary anime, though it's Yakuza... So maybe that's offlimits?
