I will read it now, thanks! :wtf
I know right? It was basically Sins vs DK Meliodas all over again just with the Demon King going even crazier about his incoming loss against them this time around. 😂 I honestly liked the first battle more even though it did leave,as you said, some plot holes open but i did also like Zel and Gelda's panel time together. They're a cute couple i won't lie,i'll never get over the height difference between Mel/Zel and Eli/Gelda,but if they had gotten more relevance and panel time they could've been even better. I also sort of missed that despite saving Zeldris and erasing the Demon King, Meliodas still didn't go and have that good "heart to heart" talk that he promised him after the battle. I mean that could've been nice for what it's worth right?.:grumble
Worst part is that the Demon King actually kept having new forms and transformations, but in the end it was all apparences because his power didn't change for the Sins, no matter what new powers or levels he had, the Sins used the same things all over again to beat him. :lmao
I think Zel needs a bit more development with his relationships in general. It's known he loves Gelda but these two lack screentime, if Nakaba made a special gaiden for how they both fell for each other, that would make it complete for me. And with Meliodas, their sibling relationship feels a bit rushed, even if it started well; Meliodas showed his sorrow for being a bad brother for the entire arc, and it was a bit obvious that Zel was going to forgive him, but it kinda happened too fast, it didn't take Zel more than two panels to forget all the hatred he had for many years.

So basically I just ignore the terrible DK fight, and some relationships go well even if kinda rushed. :XD
Yeah i agree,we could guess that Arthur would come back to Life but we couldn't guess how and now that we know how it sort of feels disappointing to me. I mean he got revived so he gets 1 out of 3 possible treatments here which would be:
1. He takes on the Sins in a heavy battle and loses, ultimately dies/gets killed.
2. He gets defeated but cannot get freed of these King of Chaos-Powers and has to be sealed away by Meliodas/Elizabeth/Merlin(?).
3. Another Sins vs DK Fight all over again, they battle, invade his mind and free him, beat the real body up and save Arthur somehow.
At least that's how i see it coming here.
I hope the number 2 happens! The fist one would be lit and dark but doubt Nakaba would try to go that route, especially since he wants to make an Arthur sequel, but he getting sealed and trying to find a way to free him later would be a good tension for the plot.
The last one is more likely to happen though, Nakaba... :emobirb
And agreed,i didn't like Escanor's Gaiden that much either besides the Rosa parts at least,it sort of made his win over Meliodas in Assault Form meaningless even though Zel sort of told us that basically nobody can beat Meliodas at his best. Still though, bummer. I wish we got to see the Supreme Deity too,but i'm also curious who the "Princess" is that Merlin was speaking to before transforming Arthur.
Rosa should have been the whole focus for the gaiden, also change the reason of why Escanor is "pride", still can't believe that he got the nickname because he was mean to a bunch of Holy Knights and Zaratras.
Like you have a guy who destroyed an entire kingdom, someone who killed a fairy in a forest, a guy who killed the sister of the current king and then... let's add this guy who was a bit rude to us.

Forever salty about it

Merlin is one of my Top 3 Sins actually while Escanor was one of my most disliked Characters in NnT :p,i mean, the guy slaugthered anyone he went up against besides the Sinner basically. I thought he was gonna make it till the Manga was over since he had lost his powers and was death sentenced basically but Mael had to give him the Grace again didn't he? smh.
Their Ship was one of my favorites for awhile because i was curious if and how they would end up together actually, but when i saw that Escanor would only be able to confess when he was at Death's door that was sort of a heartbreaker for me haha. It was a nice and sweet farewell for them and i like the gesture of Merlin keeping the scars from the kiss as well but sad for Escanor that she did never really return the same feelings to him. The overall chapter was okay for me but only,if nothing else, for this moment between the 2 of them. I was surprised Merlin would actually go and do it to be honest with you xD.
The whole Mael interaction with Escanor made no sense :XD when he said to Escanor that he had more chances to win against the DK than him, I hoped Nakaba explained that later but I guess that in the end the explication was "because you're the MC, Escanor".

Think I never could ship them because Escanor was my least favorite for most part of the manga (I almost get killed many times for that opinion), so I never cared for his romantic route. Then now I ended up actually liking him, but the roles chances and I disliked Merlin for a long time now :sweatbunny also the fact that she's part of Meliodas's harem too...

@revo Thoughts on the recent Ao no Flag Chapter? :grumble
I liked the dream thing a lot, especially with Touma and Futaba forcing Taichi to decide who to save, it basically serves for what is happening in reality.
Also I'm surprised how the whole discrimination turned, seems that, in the end, Taichi is forced to be taken on a side and be ignored by everyone because they all love Touma, even if he's discriminated too (the whole thing of the boys being disgusted by Touma watching them changing made my chest hurt :/).
It's kinda sad because in the end Taichi and Touma will not be able to understand each other again, especially om Taichi's side.

We also finally got a Masumi-Taichi interaction! Loved her thoughts as always, and I liked to see her perspective on the whole first arc situation of Futaba being in love with Touma (always wondered how she really had to deal with it). She honestly gave Taichi the best advice for the moment, shows too that Taichi, even if he isn't attracted to Touma, is scared to hurt his feelings; but in the end like Masumi said he has the right to make his own choices and the rest have to deal with it.

But tbh in the end Taichi is still angry and that scene of him going mad was great, it still makes me wonder if the author wants to go with "Taichi actually likes Touma romantically" route. I do think that it's most probably that he will break up with Futaba, sadly :emocat I guess this is when Taichi's character will go worse the most, he will probably close from everyone the most.
That last panel made me wonder what will happen, probably finally going to face Touma properly?

How did you feel with the chapter? Your BnHa's set is really cool, by the way. :zomg

I liked the Dream Sequence a lot too,it showed that despite all the distance he took to the situation it looks like everything still took it's toll on Taichi's "heart",if it did show anything though it was that it is impossible for Taichi to chose between his friend and his girlfriend. He needs both of them, the girl he loves and his best friend. I was surprised how the situation at school changed for the both of them so suddenly as well but i had forgotten that only Touma and Futaba had been to school since the confession and Taichi had been sick,so perhaps their classmates were just waiting for him to return to school to start their teasing. Touma seems to be taking it well but the way he was avoiding Taichi and acted awkward upon seeing him was hard to see,Taichi is basically back to where he was at the start of the Manga just that he is now also being picked on for being Touma's love interest. This is where i would've liked Mami to step up for him and Touma and say "Enough's enough, this is hard on both of them" instead of that random classmate of theirs, she would've driven that point home since she has presence in the class.:teach

That conversation was as intense and satisfying as i wanted it to be,although it was a tad harsh of Taichi to continously yell at her when she was just trying to help him vent but after that day he's had i don't blame him really. Lately it feels like she is dropping more and more hints to her own "secret" even in front of Taichi, when she spoke how she does understand Touma's side but does not pity him i thought that Taichi was gonna turn the conversation around and ask her how she can understand Touma in any way but luckily for her nobody but Touma knows about her yet. I wonder how and when it'll come out. I agree, her advice was probably among the best things anyone could've told Taichi,he should just do what he feels is the right thing and not care about the aftermath his decision brings because in the end it matters how things will continue for him and not everybody else making entertainment out of him and his affairs. :verily

I know right? That final scene when he just lost it was great,we finally saw Taichi come out of his shell and show how close all of this had gotten to him. We haven't seen him break down like that since that moment in the Hospital when he suddenly started crying because he felt bad for Touma's accident because he blamed himself. And ironically,it is basically the same all over again just that he too is now feeling the pain of Touma, both of them have been taken aim on and the people won't stop until something happens. Which is either Taichi and Touma ending their friendship officially,Taichi leaving Futaba(And/Or ending up with Touma in a relationship),i'm not sure if Taichi will actually get together with Touma as i feel like the Author wants to convey that message: "It is okay to be different as long as you're yourself". Maybe Taichi will end up leaving Futaba but he will probably do it as a sort of "Timeout" for their relationship but only to distance himself from everything for a bit to then come to terms with himself and his feelings for good. At least that's what i think about it for now, maybe the next Chapter gives me a different thought. :grumble I believe that looking at Touma's charm either made him realize that he needs distance,a confrontation with Touma before they'll part ways on bad terms or that he wants to read the message that Touma put inside the charm. It will be interesting either way that's all i know.

Your BnHa's set is really cool, by the way. :zomg

Merry Christmas to you too!!
I'm catching up with BnHa lately, so it's your fave manga so far? Who is your favorite character?

Agreed that he's kinda back at how he was at the start of the manga, difference is that now he has more reasons to be depressed and being negative towards everything, and it's kinda more tragic considering he can't see the good side of having people loving him and not everyone judging him.
I remember lots of chapters ago (think it was when Touma was in the hospital) that Taichi thought "at this point I'm going to start to hate myself for real" and maybe that's something that will have lots of importance from now on.

And agreed with the random classmate, I expected Touma to be a lot more affected in this chapter and didn't happen, but I guess he's starting to feel awkward and weird towards Taichi now that he knows, not everything is going to be easy to fake for him.
Mami is the character I was waiting the most; like Masumi, she always causes an impact on Taichi when talking and maybe she will help in the next chapter;.

Who I want to see what is going to do more is Futaba, we know now how she feels towards everything but I feel that her character needs development when doing actual things. She talked with Touma and that's great, but she needs to face Taichi the most and quickly.
That conversation was as intense and satisfying as i wanted it to be,although it was a tad harsh of Taichi to continously yell at her when she was just trying to help him vent but after that day he's had i don't blame him really. Aaaah didn't notice that, had to reread that page and it's true, he basically didn't even picked interest on it, I guess since we already know as the readers it's pretty common at this point. :XD
I hope it's a foreshadow of a Masumi-Futaba subplot going out, and maybe an arc more focused on Masumi in general; she's the most serious and kinda mature character from the main four and seeing how she would handle Futaba knowing her feelings would be very interesting.

Yeah, I guess one of the main points the characters need to learn (especially Touma and Taichi) is that this is nobody's fault at all and things like this are common in life basically, but everyone tries to take responsability all the time (even Futaba too).
There are some comments about a time-skip coming soon; Taichi breaking all relationships with and distancing himself from eveyone, that would be interesting to see.
I never managed to understand if the Taichi/Futaba relationship is a main and important thing in the plot (like, one of the manga most important goals is of them growing as a couple); which is why I'm wondering if them breaking up is maybe for the best? Like, them both growing as people in a different way and in distance. Their relationship is healthy and cute and it actually helped both of them, but maybe they're full of some insecure feelings that they couldn't fix in the series so far.

Guess that's why I feel they will break up (at least for a while), not because of "it's all Touma's fault" but so both of them can have their own character development.
Or maybe it's just me trying to get ready for my ship to get in trouble :lmao

Well it's one of them, for the moment, that changes from time to time depending on how much i'm liking some plot developments to be honest.
Favorite Characters would be Momo,Todoroki,Bakugou,Deku,Uraraka,Kirishima,Endeavor,Overhaul and Mirio. To name a "few" :D

Yeah,so far they've only texted and talked about School. It's about time for them to get on working on their relationship,or rather all the sources of disturbance in it,they both deserve each other so much and now it's time to either stand up for themselves or make a ground breaking decision. That being a BreakUp/Time-out until they see things clearly from all angles again. :grumble

I hope it's a foreshadow of a Masumi-Futaba subplot going out, and maybe an arc more focused on Masumi in general; she's the most serious and kinda mature character from the main four and seeing how she would handle Futaba knowing her feelings would be very interesting.
I wonder how it comes that she fell in love with Futaba in the first place,i mean there's nothing wrong with it at all,it's just unlike Taichi and Touma they have not been together since they were children and basically only met at school and(at least as far as we can assume) they weren't best of friends from the beginnning either. Given that Futaba would be a loner at the begin of the manga as well, like Taichi. Once they met everything changed basically. But that is exactly the reason that they need to come to terms with everything now, otherwise they'll lose it all. Friends and everything. But agreed,we need some more developments in this regard,a subplot focused mini-arc would be nice here.

Their relationship is healthy and cute and it actually helped both of them, but maybe they're full of some insecure feelings that they couldn't fix in the series so far.
A timeskip would be interesting,in a manga so feeling oriented like this one a lot of things could change just in a few weeks/months already so that could be nice. As for their relationship,i always found it had a cute and a sad element to it. It's cute that they found each other and fell in love, they're so alike in many ways and they both have things important to themselves that they think are worth standing up for or speaking up about it. They're really shy but that's to be expected, they used to spent most of their time in school and at home by themselves. I remember how awkward it looked when Taichi asked Futaba to come over to his place for the first time ever, that was so funny lol.

But it's also sad because they both, before being properly together, got involved with more people and got more presence in school and their class. Which isn't a bad thing, everybody should have friends, but in their case it's sort of pitting one Group against the other. Remember Mami confronting Taichi and Futaba separately on jealousy and what it means to love someone? Both of them were being viewed in a different light than what was actually the case by Mami and some of the others, while they managed to defend their loved one they also began having doubts about some things. For that sole reason i would lean your direction and agree to a BreakUp/Time-out being their best option right now. To gain distance from everything. But it'll be tough, they're having exams and Futaba wants to enter a different college than Taichi does, there is still trouble lying ahead. Especially with Touma leaving school earlier.

Would be wonderful if they were to be endgame, but unless there's a "healthy" break up I can't see it D:

Yeah exactly for that. Even at Taichi's flashbacks and points of views you can see Touma falling for him as a kid.
But thinking about it, Masumi too is having a similar process as Touma, accepting her sexuality while having to deal with a crush that makes you more aware of it; and all of that is even happening as being a teenager having lots of other issues. This kind of thing is pretty common in general, having to accept to what people you are interested to can happen with either a long childhood first love, a crush or a mere interest.

Indeed, I think they got together in a time when they're growing up a lot and facing lots of things in life, the transition from immaturity to maturity.
That's why it would be good if they found feelings again in each other in a time-skip, more mature and less insecure about things in life (especially Futaba). Either that or they stay single but as good friends who learned to understand each other, I just hope things don't end tense between them.

I took a lot to reply, I'm sorry, happy (belated) New Year!
It's no worries at all! Happy belated New Year to you as well,i hope you've had a good start into the new Year!:)

Momo, Uraraka and Todoroki are my most favorites too, alongside with Tokoyami and Tsuyu.

Those are some really neat Fanarts, wow! 😮 And interesting,so you like Tokoyami and Tsuyu? That's nice,if you like Tokoyami then Hawks is one of your favorites too right? At least talking design,i know he is for me haha.

I do wonder when,if and/or how Masumi will confess her feelings for Futaba actually. So far nobody but Mami knows about her inner turmoil of feelings,Mami also seems to deal with a lot in that regard going by that interaction when they both ended up crying together. For Mami perhaps not the struggle of being a High School Student with trouble in accepting their own feelings and sexuality but more that she has strong romantic feelings for a guy that perhaps may never return the same to her(She should give Kensuke a shot, even if its just to see how he'd be doing :whistle). Maybe Mami also has family issues or something, some more info on her background would be nice.

Masumi and Touma's biggest "problem" is that they fell for their best friends basically, who never had much more thoughts about the topics of Love,Sex and Relationships until they had gotten together and things started to become more and more intense in said matters. Be it between themselves or others around them. As Teenagers they just "absorb" these things said and done around them subconsciously,as a way to grow and adapt to the environment they're in. Or at least try to adapt, that's always said easier than it is done. Even moreso when you're having to deal with Romance and Relationships, that's rough on anyone in that age, even moreso with exam pressure and looking out for a College etc. Its truly a troublesome time for a person. Male and Female.

I could see an Ending in which they're all just Friends but not in relationships with another past that, sort of like you're suggesting here, hard to say if i would prefer it but i'd accept it for sure since the Story is seemingly holding it out as a possibility for us. But i guess before we can make more accurate guesses we need to proceed further into it,i'd love for them all to get their own personal Happy Endings to be honest. Like, that they all achieved happiness and remain Friends despite what happened in the past between them and others. They all suffered and struggled,so for me personally, they'd all deserve it. I do admit that this is wishful thinking though. :XD

Those are some really neat Fanarts, wow! 😮 And interesting,so you like Tokoyami and Tsuyu? That's nice,if you like Tokoyami then Hawks is one of your favorites too right? At least talking design,i know he is for me haha.
Yeah I like him! I'm barely following the manga nowadays but he's pretty cool, I love his relationship with Tokayami. :blush

I remember when people shipped Touma and Masumi :XD like come on.

Mami totally needs more background, she's of the most mature characters around here, even with her flaws. If Masumi ever lets Futaba know how she feels, Mami will be a great support for both of them. It's pretty nice that despite not sharing the same problem Masumi and Touma have, Mami still tries to understand and gives actual useful and nice advices/arguments.

Agreed, the four of them are exploring all these topics but in different ways, and for Touma and Masumi is far harder to deal with. Again this would be nice for a timeskip, to show all of them more matured/experienced with that kind of thing. :nod
:XD
I honestly can't imagine a sad or bitterweet ending :XD It's already too much, but pretty amazing how the author manages to make you love all the characters to the point of wanting all of themto sucess.

An ending similar of what you say would be pretty realistic actually, or at least them getting along with each other; I can actually see Taichi being single but getting along and nice with everyone, having better relationships with people and finishing to learn to love himself, after all I think that's the main goal of his character.
Please do. :blushbirb You should make her your Trademark Avatar,it is a nice artstyle she's drawn in with pretty great color scheme imo.
There you go \o/
And thanks <3 I really love the quality of the colors too! I just find lots of artstyles I like hahaha it's hard to keep one for a long time, but I will try. :nod

You gotta get back on it,i think its hitting one of its high points again lately! I'm also planning to(About time...lol) comment into the BnHA Section,i forget about it sometimes though haha.

Sounds like a Crackship alá me,Ahoy! :XD Although Masumi is the only one in Touma's league, talking height at least.:teehee

Thanks! :verily I'll be sure to check it out! And sure, try,if it gets a tad dull for you: Me and Valhalla have taken and colored some pictures from Manga before and added some really nice effects and frames to them to add some more "boom" to it if you will xD. My "King of Neverland"-Sets are all collabo's between him and me. :)

:Haha I forget to comment in almost every section, even if I follow the manga.I I never post in OP even if it's one of my favorite mangas and follow it every week, and I slowly stopped posting in Neverland.

I know right??? Hahaha the height xD
100% sure if the manga didn't talk about the main topic it has and it was a shojo or something, Touma/Masumi would be insanely popular.

Basically the chapter we kinda needed, it had almost everything we asked for: Taichi finally wanting to face the problems, meeting Futaba and spending time again, and going to see Touma together is a good choice too. It was basically a transition chapter, but had a lot of feelings too, loved all these flashbacks with Touma.

Taichi giving up and seying he will just wait for Touma at school but then regreting that and just going to see him with a determined face was a nice character development too, I was sure the author was going for the route "make more conflicts at school" but glad both of them decided to go by their own.

Touma suddenly moving out and more or less dropping out of school is pretty surprising for me,i felt like he was ready to discuss the issue with Taichi and Futaba after he already spoke to the latter before but i guess he feels like Taichi is ashamed of knowing him now given that they just avoided any contact with another on that last day we saw. Where he was teased in the dressing room etc.

Perhaps he is trying to distance himself from everything or maybe he even attempts to leave everything behind by only showing up when he has to for School, that's like running away. I also feel like Taichi has made his choice already,at least after seeing his interactions with Futaba and the way she supports him and follows him to see Touma together. He will probably tell Touma that while he cannot be with him in the way he'd wish for he still wants to be his friend, maybe he even references this "Best Friend Power!" Note he read. Next Chapter will definitely be intense.

*Reading the first half of the chapter*
*Reading the last pages*

Okay...? :emobirb
Have a lot of things to say about it, everything happened so fast but not in a really bad way. We talked lots of times in how the future of the four would be and how realistic it would be but this... is very realistic. So much I even want a cliché shojo ending at this point. :XD
The mangaka was very good making the impact in this one, it all made sense, from Taichi's speach to Touma's answer ("being friends with someone who rejected you is hard"), to the lovely interaction that the three of them have since the manga started.
I read a lot of comments now that Futaba is marrying Masumi... but I don't know. I actually would like it because seeing her getting married with some character that needs a new introduction would be kinda hard to read tbh.

I have honestly so much to say xD can make a big wall of text of it. What did you think of the chapter? Maybe the real ending of the manga is coming.

Love your set by the way!!

IKR???

I really hope Touma and Taichi crash that Wedding :emobirb ,cannot believe things unfolded in this way but at the very least we more or less expected a timeskip coming our way but we sure didn't expect one of 7 years. And i'm hella curious, despite Taichi saying there isn't a big story behind it,why he and Futaba broke up 5 years ago. He said it were a few minor reasons and they had different views of certain things but decided to stay friends in the end, sounds all good and healthy but if so why feel weird about attending a Reunion with Masumi,Touma and her? Why was there still something they had to discuss? If Futaba was part of his ideal happiness and basically his Wife to be why let it come to this?

He said to Touma that he wants Futaba with him and he will reach this certain goal of his that he has yet to think about with her together, but going by what he said in his monologue he has found his ideal future but she isn't part of it anymore it seems. Feelings are complex and complicated by nature but they sure aren't impossible to understand when they're out in the open,so i really wanna know why and what happened exactly.:grumble

Taichi and Touma's talk was very nice to see,did not think things would get resolved in this manner but seeing what happens to Taichi in the near future it is actually(as you said before too-) very very realistic. Things seemed perfect and healthy for the Trio, nothing seemed to ever come between them again, similar to when you have a big fight with your friend and after a big talk you feel like things will remain fine forever but that's just not how Life and Feelings work am i right? Amazing Emotional Twist!.:verily

The Chapter had a lot of great panels in terms of emotion and art,sad to read that next chapter might be the final one but i'm definitely giving Ao no Flag a re-read once it has concluded to take it all in again but in one go this time without having to wait for new chapters month after month haha.

Btw. did you notice this nice parallel in the Chapter?:
Very nice, very nice...i love this Manga and i will miss it a lot, best one i've read in awhile. :hi

Now in some other pages I have seen theories that Futaba will marry... Touma, lmao. I really hope that isn't the case, though I really can't see the author making that (would be pretty terrible tbh), I had rather have her marrying one of the classmates they all had.

I feel that Taichi and Futaba breaking up is simple and without a big story just like he said, still I kinda agree with you, everything was pretty sudden (even if they were together for another five years before breaking up) so it would be nice to have a little flashback to see them having the troubles of keeping their relationship. I think that as much as Futaba/Taichi are adorable and great together, everything they dreamed and said about having a future together, smiling together no matter what, is a bit of something of teenagers dream. They were pretty young in most of the series and they were pretty romantic and idealistic, so maybe in the end by growing older they started to have different points of views and goals in life and it didn't fit with each other, so it's not like they stopped being in love, they just became adults and wanted different things.

(Just my guess, I can still see some important reason for breaking up so suddenly).

Despite everything I still want to Masumi the most, we barely got to see anything about her before the time-skip and it would be nice how life is for her now (especially since Futaba is getting married, I'm kinda more curious about her reaction more than Taichi's).

And I didn't notice that parallel! It's a nice touch, makes me really want to see everyone happy in the end. And I will definetly give it a re-read once it ends too, it's from the best mangas I'm currently following, hope it gets an anime adaptation or maybe see a new work of the author after it ends. :nod
